TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of November 18-24, 2024, “Give thanks to Jehovah for he is good,” Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: November 18-24, 2024, “Give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good.” Prepared Talk.

“Give thanks to Jehovah for he is good” (10 mins.).

There are many reasons to thank Jehovah because he is good and his mercy is eternal. In every moment of our life we find countless reasons to thank him for his unconditional love. In the Bible there are examples that show us the goodness and mercy of our father. One of them is the liberation of the Israelites in Babylon, this is an event that reminds us of his power and love.

Let us imagine how the Israelites felt in Babylon. The Babylonians ridiculed them, and of course it was a period of great suffering and despair. They mourned the destruction of Jerusalem, which was their main reason for being happy. However, just as Jehovah predicted, King Cyrus of Persia conquered Babylon and freed them. Just as he freed the Israelites, Jehovah has rescued us from Satan's world. Please read Colossians chapter 1:13,14. If you found it, please accompany me with the reading, it says like this.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of November 11-17, 2024, “They Forgot God, Their Savior,” Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: November 11-17, 2024, “They Forgot God Their Savior.” Prepared Speech.

“They forgot God, their Savior” (10 mins.)

Today we are going to explore an important lesson from the story of the Israelites and their challenges in the desert. On several occasions they let fear, hunger and impatience separate them from their faith in Jehovah their Savior. By reflecting on these stories, we can learn to strengthen our relationship with God and avoid the same mistakes based on specific examples. We will see: How did Jehovah show his love and patience despite human weakness? And how can we apply these lessons in our daily lives?

When the Israelites left Egypt and came to the Red Sea, they experienced a moment of great fear. In front of them was the sea and behind them the Egyptian army in pursuit. Panic took hold of them and they quickly forgot the miracles that Jehovah had performed to free them from slavery. At that moment, instead of remembering that God had rescued them with great acts of power, they rebelled and claimed Moses. Let's read Psalm 106:7-9. If you found it, please accompany me with the reading. It says like this.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of November 4-10, 2024, “He always remembers his covenant”, Prepared Speec

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: November 4-10, 2024, “He Always Remembers His Covenant.” Prepared Speech.

“He always remembers his covenant” (10 mins.)

Today in this section of Bible treasures entitled, “He Always Remembers His Covenant,” we are going to talk about a topic that fills our hearts with comfort and security: Jehovah’s loyalty to his promises.

The Bible assures us that he never forgets what he promises, and this is the case of the covenant he made with Abraham and then repeated with Isaac and Jacob. A covenant can be a mutual agreement between two interested parties to a promise on the part of one of them to do something for the other. We could illustrate it as a contract, Jehovah is the main contractor and the secondary contractors are the people of God, the requirements are obedience, fidelity, love and dedication.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of October 28 - November 3, 2024, “Remember that we are dust,” Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD:  October 28-November 3, 2024, “He Remembers That We Are Dust.” Prepared Speech.

“Remember that we are dust” (10 mins.)

And how much we all appreciate the person who is understanding, considerate, and compassionate. Jehovah God is truly outstanding in this regard. Despite the weaknesses and frailties of those of us who strive to do his will, he does not abandon us. Even when his servants become guilty of serious transgressions, he does not deprive us of the opportunity to return to him in repentance. Because Jehovah is compassionate, he is also reasonable. We can read together Psalm 103:14 which says the following:

LET'S READ PSALM 103:14.

For he knows how we are formed, and remembers that we are dust.

This biblical text contains a great truth: all of us, regardless of the education we have, regardless of the social position we possess, are absolutely nothing. We are that, we are dust, we are nothing.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of October 21-27, 2024, Show Your Appreciation for Jehovah's Loyal Love, Prepared Talk.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD:  October 21-27, 2024, Show Your Appreciation for Jehovah's Loyal Love . Prepared Talk.

Show how much you appreciate Jehovah’s loyal love (10 mins.).

None of us who know the Bible can deny that Jehovah feels a deep love for humanity, whether or not one of his servants. That is why in John 3:16 it clearly says that “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.” However, in this section of the Bible treasure with the title: “Show how much you appreciate Jehovah’s loyal love.” It is clear that we are not going to talk about the love that Jehovah feels for his creation, we are going to talk about the loyal love of Jehovah that he only exclusively directs to his servants, each one of those he has called.

So let's get rid of the idea that we must show love to Jehovah, no, we are not going to talk about that, but we are going to show what Jehovah's loyal love is and how grateful we are, for that we first have to understand what "Loyal Love" is. A brief summary, 230 times the expression Real Love appears in the New World Translation, and in the glossary, which appears on the back page of our Bibles, it explains what it is: "Love motivated by commitment, integrity, loyalty and deep attachment."

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of October 14-20, 2024, Let's Proclaim the Good News!, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: 14-20-October-2024, Let's Proclaim the Good News! Prepared Speech.

Let us proclaim the good news! (10 mins.)

People around the world are overwhelmed by bad news. If they turn on the radio, they hear gruesome reports of deadly diseases threatening humanity. If they watch the news, they see disturbing images of malnourished children crying for help. And if they open the newspaper, they read about bombs destroying buildings and killing countless innocent people.

Can we find good news in such a depressing world? Of course we can. We are encouraged to know that the Bible announces Good News, knowing that the Kingdom of God will put an end to disease, hunger, crime, wars and all kinds of oppression. Isn't this the news that everyone needs to hear? That's what we Jehovah's Witnesses believe. Psalm 96:2 invites us to proclaim Jehovah's good news of salvation by saying:

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of October 7-13, 2024, Serving Jehovah is the best life there is!, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: 7-13-October-2024, Serving Jehovah is the best life there is! Prepared Talk.

Serving Jehovah is the best life there is! (10 mins.)

Dear brothers and friends who are visiting us, today we will talk about one of the most important and rewarding decisions we can make in life. We are referring to our service to Jehovah. The title of this talk is: Serving Jehovah is the best life there is!

This theme highlights the joy of having a close relationship with our creator and how important it is to show gratitude for everything he has done for us. Jehovah deserves our worship. We can illustrate it this way. Let's imagine that a good friend has helped us in the most difficult moments of our life, has given us wise advice and has supported us without expecting anything in return.

Wouldn't we feel the need to express our gratitude to Him? In the same way, when we reflect on everything Jehovah has done for us, we feel the desire to show Him how much we are grateful. Please read the text of Psalm 92:1,4 as it says.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of September 30 - October 6, 2024, If you want to extend your life, trust in Jehovah, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: September 30-October 6, 2024, If You Want to Extend Your Life, Trust in Jehovah. Prepared Talk.

If you want to extend your life, trust in Jehovah (10 mins.)

How long can a human being live? The biblical record mentions Methuselah, who was the son of the prophet Enoch, a servant of Jehovah, and grandfather of Noah. The Bible says that he lived 969 years, if we compare it to Jehovah's way of seeing time, Methuselah lived almost one day for Jehovah.

The Bible indicates that for Jehovah 1000 years is one day, and he lived 969 years. Since then, the human being has been living fewer and fewer years. Today, a human being does not live that long. For example, on August 19, the oldest woman in the world died. Called María Branas Morera, a Spanish national, she died at the age of 117, that happened on August 19 of this year 2024.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of September 23-29, 2024, Jehovah's way of ruling is the best, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: September 23-29, 2024, Jehovah's way of ruling is best. Prepared talk.

Jehovah's way of ruling is the best (10 mins.)

Today, when we look at the world's governing systems, we see that there are many problems. Injustice, corruption, and oppression are present in many parts of the world. However, when we look at Jehovah's way of governing, we can see that it is totally different. He is not only a just ruler, but also a loving and faithful one.

Today I want to share with you why Jehovah's way of governing is the best and how we can benefit from being under his dominion. Jehovah rules with perfect justice, one of the most notable characteristics of Jehovah's government is his perfect justice. Please read Psalm 89:14, if you found it, please accompany me with the reading, it says like this.

LET'S READ PSALM 89:14.

The foundations of your throne are righteousness and justice; loyal love and faithfulness are before you.

This verse shows us that everything Jehovah does is based on justice and right. He is the perfect example of what a ruler should be like; when Jehovah exercises his authority, he does so in a fair manner. Jeremiah 9:24 reminds us that Jehovah himself declares that he is the one who exercises loving-kindness, right and justice on earth. For in those things he truly finds his delight.

This means that Jehovah not only acts justly because he must, but he does so because he enjoys it. He delights in being fair and treating everyone fairly, unlike human rulers who often rely on imperfect laws or laws that are subject to personal or political interests.

As we can see, dear brothers, Jehovah is the source of perfect justice. He does not need to consult any law made by imperfect men to say that he is just. All the law that he has given us, every principle that we find in the scriptures is based on his perfect justice.

That is what Psalm 89:14, which we just read, mentions, as it mentions that justice and judgment are the established place of his throne. This gives us immense security; we can fully trust that everything Jehovah does and all the decisions he makes are fair and correct.

Throughout history, Satan has tried to cast doubt on Jehovah's way of governing, suggesting that it is not the best. However, what we have seen in the world governed by Satan is the opposite. Injustice is everywhere and people suffer under corrupt and imperfect systems. However, Jehovah's way of governing always guarantees justice.

Furthermore, this form of government makes people truly happy. Another reason why Jehovah's way of governing is the best is because it produces true happiness, as mentioned in Psalm 89:15,16, which we are going to read, says the following.

LET'S READ PSALM 89:15,16.

Blessed is the people who know how to shout for joy! O LORD, they walk in the light of your presence. 16 All day long your name is their joy, and in your righteousness they are exalted.

These words reveal to us that people who are under Jehovah's rule experience true joy and happiness. Jehovah is not an oppressive or inflexible ruler; on the contrary, he always has our well-being in mind. David expressed this idea beautifully when he said in 1 Chronicles 16:27 that dignity and splendor are before us. Jehovah's strength and joy are in their place.

In fact, the more we meditate on Jehovah's goodness, the more convinced we will be that his way of governing is the best, unlike human rulers who often oppress people with unjust laws or heavy taxes. Jehovah gives us instructions that are for our good; everything he asks us to do is for our benefit.

James 1:17 reminds us that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. So when we follow the laws and principles that Jehovah has given us, we can be sure that it is for our happiness and well-being.

For this reason, it is important to remember that the happiness that comes from Jehovah's rule is not superficial or temporary. It is not simply a matter of feeling good for a while, but rather it is a deep and lasting happiness that comes from having a close relationship with Jehovah.

When we obey His commands and live according to His principles, we experience a happiness that nothing in this world can give us. The psalmist also expressed this sentiment when he said in Psalm 84:10, For a day in His courts is better than a thousand elsewhere, so that to those under the Lord a single day with Him is better than a thousand days anywhere else.

This is because Jehovah created us, and as our creator, he knows exactly what we need to be truly happy. He generously gives us everything we need to lead a full and satisfying life. Jehovah's government will last forever, in addition to being a just and kind ruler, Jehovah has also established a government that will last forever, as mentioned in Psalm 89:34-37, which we are going to read says this.

LET'S READ PSALM 89:34-37.

I will not break my covenant or change the word of my lips. 35 By my holiness I have sworn once and for all; I will not lie to David. 36 His descendants will endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before me. 37 Like the moon, he will be established forever as a faithful witness in the heavens.”

Here we see a reference to the covenant that Jehovah made with David, the king of Ancient Israel. In this covenant, Jehovah promised David that his lineage would continue and that the Messiah would come from his offspring. This promise was fulfilled in Jesus Christ who has the legal right to the throne of the Messianic Kingdom. The amazing thing about this covenant is that it guarantees that the reign of the Messiah, the Kingdom of Jehovah, will last forever.

Throughout history, we have seen that many human governments have fallen, some of them after just a few years or decades, but Jesus' reign, Jehovah's government, will never fall as verse 37 says; it will be firmly established forever. Furthermore, Jehovah's government is incorruptible, in contrast to human governments that often become corrupt over time.

Jehovah's Kingdom will always be just and righteous. Jesus Christ, the King of the Kingdom, will always reflect Jehovah's perfect qualities, ensuring that this government is for the good of all. This eternal government is the basis of our hope. As Christians, we know that soon Jehovah and his King Jesus Christ will eliminate all traces of injustice, evil and suffering in this world.

As prophesied in Revelation 21:4, under Jehovah's rule, every tear will be wiped away from people's eyes and as the verse mentions, death will no longer exist, nor will mourning or crying or pain be anymore, since all the previous things will have passed away.

What a wonderful hope Jehovah offers us in his government. Throughout this discourse we have seen that Jehovah's way of governing is the best, his government is based on perfect justice, which guarantees that we will always be treated fairly and equitably. In addition, Jehovah's government produces true happiness in our lives, since he gives us instructions that are for our benefit and helps us live full and satisfying lives.

And finally, dear brothers, Jehovah's government is eternal and will never fall, nor will it be corrupted. As servants of Jehovah we can feel deeply grateful to be under his government; there is no other ruler in the universe who is as fair, loving and faithful as our creator.

In our corresponding activity guide this week we can see a series of images where a brother reflects on Jehovah's way of governing, and realizes that it is very different from that of this world. In the first image on the left, we can see people arguing at a political rally, and in the second image, the brothers greet each other affectionately at the Kingdom Hall. This reminds us that in order to remain neutral despite political propaganda, we must reflect on Jehovah's way of governing and realize that this form of government is the best that can exist.

Therefore, dear brothers, let us continue to obey his commands and live according to his principles, knowing that this brings us lasting happiness and the assurance that we will be under his just and eternal reign forever.

TREASURES OF THE BIBLE, Week of September 16-22, 2024, Prayer helps us endure, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM THE BIBLE, September 16-22, 2024, Prayer Helps Us Endure. Prepared Speech.

Prayer helps us endure (10 mins.)

Imagine a little child running into his father's arms for comfort and protection, knowing that his father cares for him, listens to him, and is always ready to help. Should our trust in Jehovah, our loving heavenly Father, be like this child's?

Of course, because when we face challenges or feel our strength fading, prayer becomes that powerful bridge that connects us to Him, helping us endure and remain firm in our faith.

Psalm 86 reflects the deep feelings of King David who, like us, faced many difficulties. He knew that Jehovah was the source of his strength and joy, which is why in verse 4 David says the following.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of September 9-15, 2024, Value what you do for Jehovah, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: September 9-15, 2024, Appreciate what you do for Jehovah.

Appreciate what you do for Jehovah (10 mins.)

In the world, precious things are highly valued, such as gold and silver. We as servants of God value what is precious to us, we value the enormous privilege of serving Jehovah, he has allowed us to participate in an unparalleled work and to get closer to him in various ways. So today we are going to analyze: How can we appreciate what we do for Jehovah through Psalm 84, we are going to move on to the first point, which is to value the privilege of serving Jehovah, let's read what Psalm 84 1 to 3 says.

LET'S READ PSALM 84:1-3.

How beautiful is your great tabernacle, O LORD Almighty! 2 I long for the courts of the LORD; I faint with longing for them. My heart and my flesh rejoice before the living God. 3 Even the bird finds a home there, and the swallow a nest to care for its young, at your great altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

According to the explanation given to us in the magazine or publication that we found, the psalmist expresses a deep desire to be close to the house of Jehovah, as he mentions in the Psalm that even the swallows find their refuge in the temple of Solomon, building their nest near the altar and we see that there the psalmist uses a beautiful comparison and just as the swallows long for that Refuge.

The psalmist also longed to serve in the house of Jehovah, for us this example teaches us the importance of being in the house of Jehovah. For example, valuing our Meetings and the Privilege of being in the presence of Jehovah and his people, such as the Assemblies.

We, like the swallows, for example, are always seeking to be close to Jehovah or to his spiritual activities, such as assemblies, meetings, preaching, and the construction of Kingdom Halls. We also feel motivated or motivate our children to have that same desire, so we must make sure to appreciate the special place we have in the congregation and the privilege of worshiping Jehovah.

The second point is that we not only value the privilege of being in the congregation, but enjoy our current responsibilities. For example, let's read what Psalm 84:10 says.

LET'S READ PSALM 84:10.

For one day in your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere! I would rather stand at the entrance to the house of my God than live in the tents of wickedness.

As we see, the psalmist recognizes that spending a single day in the temple courtyards is better than a thousand in any other place, and this feeling reminds us that our current responsibilities, even if they are small, are very valuable in the eyes of Jehovah. Sometimes, perhaps physical or personal limitations make us feel that we are not giving 100% in our service to Jehovah.

But we must then focus on what we can do, for example the Levite who served only two weeks a year, because he teaches us that we must appreciate every opportunity that is given to us in our service to Jehovah and that this is a blessing. So we are focusing on what we cannot do. Many brothers, for example, fall into this error of focusing on goals that perhaps they could not achieve. For example, perhaps serving in another place or being part of the construction group or going to Bethel.

So we should not focus on what we may not have achieved yet, but rather enjoy what we already have, but we should value each small act of service that we perform, so we should focus on what we are doing and do it with joy and gratitude. As a third point, we will focus on the fact that Jehovah is good to those who serve, and for this we will read Psalm 84:11.

LET'S READ PSALM 84:11.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; he bestows favor and honor. The LORD will not withhold any good thing from those who live uprightly.

As we can see, Jehovah does not ignore that sometimes we have to go through difficulties that we must face and he sees our struggles, whether due to illness or personal circumstances, and he is always taking care of each one of us. We can turn to his word for comfort and encouragement, knowing that he deeply values our faithfulness. So when we face challenges, let us remember that Jehovah values us and if we serve him faithfully, since he will provide the necessary strength and support, he is good to all who sincerely seek him and of course, he never forgets our efforts.

In conclusion, all responsibilities or tasks assigned to us in Jehovah's service have their challenges. Sometimes we face challenges that can seem overwhelming and limit our capabilities. And our circumstances may change over time, whether due to health or age or the demands of daily life. However, all tasks, whether small or large, also carry with them many good things.

For example, it gives us the opportunity to show our love for Jehovah every time we carry out a spiritual activity. In addition, we have the benefit of strengthening our faith and contributing to the well-being of the congregation. The secret then is not in how we face those responsibilities or how we see them. If we focus only on the difficulties, it is easy to feel discouraged or think that our contributions are not enough. But if we decide to focus on the positive, on the blessings and the purpose behind each assignment, then we will find joy in what we do.

And as we remember that everything we do for Jehovah is precious in his eyes, no matter how big it is, we each enjoy the task we are given. So the key to keeping this perspective is to remember that we serve the God of the universe who deeply values our efforts and never forgets what we do for his name, every small act of service, because it is a sign of our devotion and our desire to honor Jehovah.

In our activity guide for this week, we can see some Levites doing various tasks. One of them is pouring water into a clay jar at the copper fountain, another is pulling a wheelbarrow full of clay jars, and finally another Levite is carrying a clay jar on his shoulder. Through these images, Jehovah teaches us that all responsibilities or tasks assigned to us have their challenges. However, they also have many good things, because if we focus on the positive, we will enjoy anything we do for Jehovah.

So no matter what challenges we face, if we face them, if we focus on the blessings and satisfaction that come from serving Jehovah, we will enjoy whatever we do for him and feel a deep sense of purpose and joy in our worship.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week of September 2-8, 2024, Show that you love Jehovah's glorious name, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: September 2-8, 2024, Show that you love Jehovah's glorious name.

Show that you love Jehovah's glorious name (10 mins.)

Jehovah's name is more than just a collection of letters; it represents his reputation, his promises, and his love for mankind. As his servants, we have the privilege and responsibility to show our love for that name.

Today we will consider how we can do this by leaving behind everything that dishonors Him, calling upon Him with sincerity, and obeying Him to receive His blessings.

Monday, August 26, 2024

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week August 26 to September 1, 2024, Let us not become unfaithful like the Israelites, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: August 26-September 1, 2024, Let us not become unfaithful like the Israelites, Prepared Speech.

Let us not become unfaithful like the Israelites (10 mins.)

As we reflect on the history of the people of Israel, we see that we are offered a clear and powerful warning: we must not follow the example of unfaithfulness that they demonstrated.

The Israelites had the privilege of being Jehovah's chosen people, but sadly, time and time again they forgot the wonderful things that He had done for them, today we have the same privilege that we can do to avoid falling into the error of Israelites. We are going to call the first point forgetting. Why? Let's read what Psalm 78:11, 42 says...

LET'S READ PSALM 78:11,42.

Furthermore, they forgot what he had done, the wonderful works that he had shown them.

This forgetfulness was not simple carelessness; It was a repeated act of ingratitude and selflessness. What was the result? “Time after time they tested God and caused pain. Over time, this lack of spiritual memory led to Jehovah's rejection of them.

The psalmist offers us a contrast when he says, “I will remember the practices of Jah; Well, I will certainly remember your wonderful work from a long time ago.” Reflecting in this way motivates us and gives us strength to continue being faithful.

We would call the second point the lack of appreciation. The Israelites did not value all the good things that Jehovah gave them. In Psalm 78:19, we read…

LET'S READ PSALM 78:19.

So they spoke against God. They said, “Can God prepare a table in the desert?”

This murmuring was a sign of lack of faith and ingratitude. For example, murmuring causes us to focus on our complaints and problems, forgetting the blessings we enjoy as servants of Jehovah. We, unlike them, must constantly remember our blessings: the privilege of bearing Jehovah's name, the ability to pray to the “Hearer of Prayer,” and having a life of purpose and meaning.

And finally we will talk about repetition of infidelity. Psalm 78 reminds us that, instead of learning from their mistakes, the Israelites were unfaithful time after time. Psalm 78:40,41…

LET'S READ PSALM 78:40,41.

How many times did they rebel against him in the arid land! How many times did they hurt his feelings in the desert! Time after time they put God to the test and grieved the Holy One of Israel.

His disrespectful attitude toward Jehovah began shortly after his liberation from Egypt and continued during his time in the wilderness.

Although Jehovah forgave them when they repented, they fell back into the same infidelity. This continued rebellion was not only disobedience, but it also “made him feel hurt.” Jehovah, in his love and patience, suffered every time they turned their backs on him.

In our activity guide for this week we can see a series of images, in which we see an Israelite remembering his life in Egypt while, with disgust, he lets the manna fall between his fingers. Meditating on how we can avoid infidelity to Jehovah is essential to remain firm in our relationship with Him. Here are some keys that can help us:

Constantly remember the works of Jehovah: The Israelites' unfaithfulness began when they forgot the wonders that Jehovah had done for them. If we strive to regularly remember and reflect on Jehovah's blessings and powerful acts in our lives, this will keep us grateful and faithful.

Value our spiritual blessings: The Israelites did not value what Jehovah gave them, which led them to complain and rebel. We can avoid this mistake by deeply appreciating our blessings, such as the privilege of praying, the hope we have, and the sense of purpose our faith gives us. By maintaining a spirit of gratitude, we are less likely to stray.

Maintain a close relationship with Jehovah: The repetition of the Israelites' unfaithfulness shows that their relationship with Jehovah was superficial and not based on deep love. Strengthening our relationship with Jehovah through prayer, Bible study, and meditation will help us resist temptations to turn away from Him.

Learning from past mistakes: The Israelites did not learn from their mistakes and, as a result, continued to rebel. If we are aware of the lessons that biblical history teaches us, and apply them in our daily lives, we can avoid making the same mistakes.

In conclusion, to avoid unfaithfulness to Jehovah, it is crucial that we cultivate an active spiritual memory, continually remembering his powerful works and the blessings he has given us. By maintaining deep gratitude and a close relationship with Him, we can resist the temptations to walk away and remain steadfast in our loyalty.

Learning from the mistakes of the past and applying those lessons in our daily lives will further strengthen us in our resolve to remain faithful. Let us continue to value our privilege to serve Jehovah, and strive to be loyal, knowing that this not only honors God, but also protects us from falling into unfaithfulness.

TREASURES OF THE BIBLE, Week August 19 to 25, 2024, Why should we not boast?, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES OF THE BIBLE, August 19-25, 2024, Why should we not boast?, Prepared Speech.

Why shouldn't we brag? (10 min.)

Today I would like us to reflect together on an attitude that, although at times it may seem harmless, has the potential to distance us from Jehovah and the people we love: presumption.

We've all known someone who takes too much pride in their achievements, their appearance, or their possessions, and perhaps we've fallen into that trap ourselves at some point. But why is it so important to avoid this attitude? What dangers does presumption hide and how can it affect our relationship with God and others?

The Bible offers us many warnings about the danger of boasting and the importance of maintaining a humble attitude. Throughout this talk, we will explore what God's Word says about presumption, why it is so distasteful to Jehovah, and how we can cultivate an attitude that will keep us in his favor.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: Week August 12 to 18, 2024, Are we envious of those who do not serve God?, Prepared Speech.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD:  August 12-18, 2024, Are we envious of those who do not serve God?, Prepared Speech.

Are we envious of those who do not serve God? (10 min.)

As we know very well, dear brothers, envy is a powerful emotion that can bend our vision and not only that but it can also affect our spiritual well-being. And why do we say that? We say this because often, we can look at those who do not follow God and we can envy their apparent success, wealth and happiness.

And we may wonder if our devotion and sacrifice is really worth it, and this may happen especially when we compare it with the carefree life of the wicked. In Psalm 73, we find a powerful example of how envy can affect our spirituality. Please read Psalm 73:3-5 and if you found it, please accompany me with the reading, it says like this.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: 5-11-August 2024, Talk about the power of God “to the next generation, Prepared Speech.

Talk about the power of God “to the next generation” (10 mins.)

Today, both young people, children, adults, women and men alike, have a constant struggle, a constant struggle with the difficulties and temptations that are present today because we are living in the last days.

This is because Satan wants to devour anyone, both young people and adults, so it is important that we always keep in mind that we must be vigilant, have constant vigilance, and courage is also required.

But how can we achieve that value? Let's look at an example: we have the example of David. David is recognized as a great man of great courage, but we know that he also had a lot of trust in Jehovah. Since when could he have that courage? Let's see what he himself tells us in Psalm 71:5, let's read this psalm, verse 5, 71, if we already have it, it says like this.

Psalm 69 predicted events in the life of Jesus (10 mins.)

Today men make their predictions based on scientific research, trend analysis and even supernatural powers. Then they usually sit back and wait to see what happens unlike men, Jehovah knows all the facts, He completely understands the nature of human beings and their inclinations.

So, when you want, you can foresee how people or nations will act. But God can do something else, he can control and change factors to obtain the desired result. Therefore, some of God's predictions are announcements of what he himself will do in the future, and he makes sure that they all come true.

Today we will consider in this talk the Treasures of the Bible: How Jehovah carries our burdens day after day, and how we can recognize and be grateful for his help in our lives.

One way to help us with the burdens is to listen to our challenges that we face, which is why the Psalmist assures us in Psalm 66:19, I invite you to read this text.

LET'S READ PSALMS 66:19

But God did hear; He paid attention to my prayer.

As we see that Jehovah is the hearer of prayer and that is why we must try. We also have to fight the influence of stopping, as sometimes it seems like we get no response.

But we must keep in mind that Jehovah does not always respond to our prayers in a spectacular way or as we imagine, rather it would be the right answer, the one we need to remain loyal.

TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: July 15-21, 2024, “Your loyal love is better than life”, Prepared Speech.

“Your loyal love is better than life” (10 mins.)

What do you consider the most important thing in your life? Some people might say that freedom is what they value most, others might say success is the most important thing in their life, others might say personal satisfaction, money, pleasure, family.

According to the circumstances that each of us lives, it is the desire to achieve something that apparently would give us permanent satisfaction, although it is generally only ephemeral, only at certain moments.

But when you review the lives of people who have already achieved what someone wants, you can realize that achieving that has not really been success. How many people don't have that much money, but then don't know what to do with everything they have? and they prefer to lead a quiet life away from the public, from people and even make donations so that others can enjoy what that person already has too much.

Jehovah gives us security, protection and stability (10 mins.)

Dear brothers and friends, today we are going to explore, through the information we are going to consider, how Jehovah our God provides us with incomparable security, unparalleled protection, and stability that transcends any circumstance in this world. First let us consider how Jehovah is like a strong Tower, Psalm 61:3 tells us:

LET'S READ PSALM 61:3.

Because you are my refuge, a strong tower that protects me from the enemy.

This powerful image of a strong Tower reminds us that in the midst of difficulties and enemy attacks, Jehovah offers us impenetrable protection. When we trust in him we find refuge and security, just as a soldier would find security in a tall, safe and sturdy tower.

In times of war David sang these words recognizing that Jehovah had been his refuge and defense. This explanation emphasizes the continued protection and security that Jehovah offers to those who love and obey him. So when we face trials and challenges, we can be certain that Jehovah is our Strong Tower, always ready to protect us and give us security.
