TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: July 22-28, 2024, Jehovah carries our burdens day after day, Prepared Discourse.

Jehovah carries our burdens day after day (10 mins.)

In life we all face challenges that sometimes seem insurmountable. However, we have a constant source of support and strength and that source is Jehovah. Today we will consider in this talk the Treasures of the Bible: How Jehovah carries our burdens day after day, and how we can recognize and be grateful for his help in our lives.

One way to help us with the burdens is to listen to our challenges that we face, which is why the Psalmist assures us in Psalm 66:19, I invite you to read this text.

LET'S READ PSALMS 66:19

But God did hear; He paid attention to my prayer.

As we see that Jehovah is the hearer of prayer and that is why we must try. We also have to fight the influence of stopping, as sometimes it seems like we get no response.

But we must keep in mind that Jehovah does not always respond to our prayers in a spectacular way or as we imagine, rather it would be the right answer, the one we need to remain loyal.

Something we could do is follow the example of a sister named Yoko, who always felt that her prayers were not answered, so she began to write down everything she asked of Jehovah and when reviewing her notes, some time later she realized that the Most of his prayers had been answered, even some that he had already forgotten.

This exercise reminds us of the importance of being attentive and meditating on how Jehovah answers our prayers. It may be helpful for us to also take time to reflect on how Jehovah has answered our supplications, so that our faith and gratitude toward him will grow.

But Jehovah not only hears prayers, but is also especially attentive to the needs of the disadvantaged, for example Psalm 68:5, we are assured of the following.

LET'S READ PSALM 68:5.

Father of orphans and protector of widows is God in his holy abode.

What a moving image of Jehovah, he provides protection and help to the disadvantaged such as orphans, Jehovah severely warns against the abuser of orphans, demonstrating his care and protection towards them, through his pages of the Bible.

This reminds us that Jehovah does not forget those who are in need and we as his servants must reflect that same compassion and care in our daily actions. Ultimately Jehovah helps us Day after day. Psalm 68:19 we read.

LET'S READ PSALM 68:19.

Praise Jehovah, who bears our burdens day after day, the true God of our salvation. (Selah).

Like a mountaineer who stops to enjoy the view along his climb, we should stop and reflect on how Jehovah is helping us in our trials. At the end of the day let us ask ourselves what blessings from Jehovah I have received today.

Even though the test is still there, what is he doing to help me hold on? Identifying at least one daily blessing will help us maintain an attitude of gratitude and recognize Jehovah's constant support in our lives.

Now let's ask ourselves: What should I do to leave our burdens in Jehovah's hands? We can consider some points that we must keep in mind. For example, always keep in mind to pray regularly and faithfully.

Prayer is a powerful means of leaving our burdens in the hands of Jehovah. Philippians 46:7 tells us not to worry about anything, but rather to present our requests to God on every occasion with prayer and supplication.

By praying in faith, we can turn our worries over to Jehovah and trust in his ability to help us. Seeking support in the congregation is something else we can also do.

Jehovah has provided a loving brotherhood to support us Galatians 6:2 tells us to bear one another's burdens by sharing our burdens with brothers and sisters in the congregation we allow Jehovah to comfort and strengthen us through them.

We must also trust and meditate on the scriptures, there we can find comfort and guidance in passages such as Psalms 461 which says: God is our refuge and strength, he helps us and is always available in times of distress. Remember that Jehovah is a constant source of support. Finally, leaving our burdens in the hands of Jehovah also means being obedient to his commandments and acting with faith.

James 12:22, urges us to be doers of the word when we follow his directives from Jehovah, we demonstrate that we trust in his wisdom and care, which helps us feel his support in our lives, leave our burdens in the hands of Jehovah, not It means that our worries will disappear instantly, but it does assure us that we are not alone and that we have your help and guidance to continue remaining with Jehovah and his organization.
