Spiritual Gems (10 min.)
Ps 105:17-19. How did “the declaration of Jehovah” purify Joseph? (w86 11/1 19 par. 15)
Jehovah's Declaration Jehovah's declaration purified Joseph by allowing him to develop qualities such as patience, humility, and spiritual strength. Despite the difficult circumstances he faced during 13 years as a slave and prisoner, Joseph maintained his faith in Jehovah's promise.
These tests not only strengthened his character, but also showed that he was ready to take on greater responsibilities. In the end, Jehovah used him in a significant way, fulfilling his purpose by making him governor of Egypt and Savior of his people. This experience transformed him into someone more valuable and pure, similar to refined gold.
