APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY:  November 4-10, 2024, Make return visits, HOUSE TO HOUSE, Lesson 8 point 3. Prepared Assignment.

Make return visits (4 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. On a previous visit, the person showed interest in a topic. Offer him or her a magazine that talks about that topic (lmd lesson 8 point 3).

You: “It’s nice to see you again. Last time we talked briefly about the topic of respect, and I was glad you were interested. Today I brought a magazine with a very good article that talks about how we can foster respect within the family where it seems to be getting lost. (You show him the magazine, like Awake! from 2024, with an article about respect.)

Person: “Thanks, I find that interesting.”

You: “Yes, it is. And it is something that affects both our families and our communities. Have you noticed how this issue has become more critical in recent years?”

Person: “Yeah, it seems like people don’t have as much respect for each other anymore.”

You: “Exactly. In fact, the Bible offers practical principles that can help us restore respect in our relationships. For example, I would like to read Philippians 2:3-4.

Person: Yes it's okay

You: we see, the text encourages us to 'consider others as superior to ourselves', which could be key to having more harmony.”

Person: “That sounds good. It’s something people should do more of.”

You: “Yes, yes. If you are interested, in the future we could go into more depth about how the Bible can help us in this and other areas of life. If you prefer, we can also watch an article or video that explains how Bible study works and how it could be helpful.”

Person: We could watch on video then.
