2Ch 21:14, 15. How was what Elijah said to Jehoram come to pass? (it-2 33 paras. 5, 6).

Well, it was fulfilled to the letter as the prophet who was a conduit said, a legitimate prophet of Jehovah, yes the king spoke literally on behalf of the creator, it was the voice of Jehovah. And he allowed the Arab and Philistine enemies to invade the land, taking his sons' wives captive, only leaving Jehoahaz, also called Ahaziah, there. And this was only because of the agreement or the covenant that he had made with King David.

The bowel disease also came true and one might think that this could have been cured if he had repented, if he had humbly sought Jehovah. Yet his pride was greater than his illness, than the loss of his family, the fall of his kingdom, his pride was greater. It is sad that many wicked wicked people are today, his pride is greater than his calamities. In the end this man left without being wanted, without being loved, nobody cared and this teaches us that the word of Jehovah is always fulfilled.

An important fact is that when Jeroham became incurably ill with his intestines at the age of two, they came out and eventually he died. And the detail is that he was buried in the city of David but not in the tombs of the kings. which indicates that for Jehovah he was not worthy due to his disobedience.

Elijah's words addressed to this king in a letter mentioned what would happen to him, since Jehovah assured him that he was going to strike a blow against him and his people and their property. He also told him that he would have many diseases, with a disease in the intestines, so much so that the intestines would have to come out due to the disease day by day.

These prophetic words of Elijah were fulfilled in this king, first of all because he did not follow the righteous ways of Jehoshaphat his father, due, at least in part, to the bad influence of his wife Atalia. And he not only murdered his six brothers, but also some princes of Judah. He turned everyone away from serving Jehovah and worshiping false gods.

According to our Insight Book it is said that this was fulfilled to the letter, since Jehovah allowed the Arabs and the Philistines to take their wives captive and only the youngest son escaped, but that was because he wanted to keep his word that there would be a king of the descendant of David and also the other part of the prophecy, since it was fulfilled when he became ill. It is even said that the prophecy was fulfilled to the letter, even his intestines came out, since this disease was incurable and due to this died.

What Elijah said about Jehoram was fully fulfilled, as a result of Jehoram turning away from God and turning his people away from Him, to serve false gods, apart from all the wicked things he did. Finally, just as the prophecy indicated, Arabs and Philistines invaded his land and took everything he had until finally he died of a terrible intestinal disease.

What spiritual pearls have you found about Jehovah, the ministry, and other topics in this week's Bible reading?

2 Chronicles 20:16. He mentions that enemy groups came to fight Jehoshaphat, but he immediately sought Jehovah in prayer. This teaches us that in life we will have battles, fights in which we can immediately look to Jehovah, instead of trusting ourselves, our money or wealth or powerful friends.

2 Chronicles 20:15. He shows how Jahaziel tells everyone by divine inspiration not to be terrified because the battle is not theirs but God's. This teaches me that when we face powerful enemies we should not trust ourselves, neither in wealth, influence, nor in friends, only in Jehovah. So we must seek it immediately through prayer.

2 Chronicles 20:17. This verse shows us that in order to see Jehovah's salvation we must take our stand by actively supporting God's kingdom. This teaches me that instead of wanting to fix things on my own, I should be active in showing my absolute trust in Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 21:1-20. This verse shows that under the influence of his wife Atalia, Jehoram murdered all of his brothers to strengthen his position as king. He also did it with some princes. Still, it all ended in failure. This teaches me that success depends on faithfulness to Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:3. It shows that Jehoshaphat was afraid and resolved to seek Jehovah and ordered a fast for everyone. This teaches me that we must resolve to be close to Jehovah at all times, and not just when we are afraid, in trouble, or in need of his help.

2 Chronicles 20:10-12. These verses give us a model of prayer, since they show us that when we pray we must open our hearts to Jehovah and honestly tell him what is happening to us in a specific way. It also teaches us that we must show him that we trust him and that we are convinced that with his help we can overcome the greatest obstacles and even emerge victorious from the most difficult tests.

2 Chronicles 20:4. It shows that the people of Judah came together to inquire of Jehovah. Today we can consult Jehovah by seeking his guidance and direction in the Bible. But we must do it on a daily basis or on a day-to-day basis and not only in difficult moments.

2 Chronicles 20:6. It reminds us that Jehovah is Almighty God. It is he who has dominion in heaven and over all the kingdoms of nations. So no one who is against him can ever get over him. This teaches me that we should not fear the governments of this world, nor its religious system, as long as we remain loyal to Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:17. Mention what the Israelites had to do to see victory, they had to take their places. In a similar way in the future when God brings his judgments We too must take our places, this means putting ourselves on Jehovah's side and being loyal. Thus we will see how Jehovah cares for us and shows his power against his enemies.

2 Chronicles 20:12. We see that the Israelites had a big problem, and perhaps they did not know how to get out of that situation. But they turned to Jehovah. This teaches us that in the same way when we have a problem we should not trust human understanding, but rather we must trust in Jehovah's wisdom and act as he tells us in his word the Bible. Thus we can succeed and Jehovah will be ready to help us.

2 Chronicles 20:1. We see how two nations came together to go against God's people, but we see that they were unsuccessful. In the same way, in the future, human beings will think that by forming an Alliance among all the nations and going against the people of God, they will succeed. But we see that the result will be repeated. Jehovah will succeed and defend his people from the attacks of his enemies.

2 Chronicles 21:3. This verse shows that Jehoram was the firstborn of Jehoshaphat and for this reason he became king. However, he did not take advantage of this privilege or value the assignment he had. This teaches me that when we have assignments or privileges in the congregation we must assume it with humility and nobility. We must also value them as special gifts from Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:9. This text teaches us that through prayer we can talk to Jehovah if we are distressed we can vent to him. He knows how we feel and we must have full confidence that our God Jehovah will not be heard.

2 Chronicles 20:20. Although the people of Israel were told to be still to see the salvation of Jehovah, but they did not sit idly by, it is said that they got up very early and went out into the desert, even Jehoshaphat began to speak to them so that they did not get discouraged This teaches us that confidence does not come by itself, we have and we do this by understanding a regular study in the Bible, attending meetings and preaching, all these things will help us to further increase our confidence in Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:17. The Israelites must have great confidence in Jehovah to go against their enemies, that same confidence, we must also have today, since many encourage us to seek material possessions, because it seems that this is the most important and safe thing to live, but Trust in Jehovah should motivate us to put the Kingdom of God first, keeping in mind that he will give us what is necessary.

2 Chronicles 20:6. This text teaches me that Jehovah is Almighty God and deserves, Jehovah uses his strength and power to create, protect, restore and uses it to be able to do whatever it takes to fulfill his perfect purpose.

2 Chronicles 20:3. This text teaches us that when we are afraid we must turn to Jehovah and we can be sure that Jehovah will take care of us and protect us when we go through difficulties.

2 Chronicles 21:1-7. These verses show that under Athaliah's influence, Jehoram reinstated idolatrous practices. This teaches me that we must avoid at all costs everything that could represent bad company for us, because his influence could be so strong that it distances us from Jehovah until we become idolaters or apostates.

2 Chronicles 21:3. Jehoram was the firstborn of Jehoshaphat, for this reason he became king. However, he did not take advantage of the privilege that he had, but rather, did not value the assignment that he had. Sometimes we can receive privileges in the congregation, but sadly some do not value them as they should be. That is, with a humble and noble attitude. Instead, we should never believe ourselves more than others, much less when you have privileges.

2 Chronicles 20:35. He mentions that Jehoshaphat was the one who made the mistake of making an alliance with Ahaziah, and says that he acted badly, for which Jehovah later punished him by destroying what they had done. This text teaches us what Jehovah's opinion is with people who act badly, which is why I must choose the people with whom I associate well, if I want to have Jehovah's approval.

2 Chronicles 20:20. We see that the people should have confidence in Jehovah, but the one who gave them the example was Jehoshaphat, who was encouraging them. What this example teaches the brothers who take the lead in the congregation is that with their example they will be able to help many brothers to also be strong and remain loyal to Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:14-17. Through the text we could see how Jehoshaphat and all Judah came together to seek God's guidance. In the same way, we must meet regularly with our brothers in the congregation, and if we face serious problems and do not know what to do, let us follow the example of Jehoshaphat and the nation of Judah, ask Jehovah for help and trust Him unreservedly.

2 Chronicles 20:32. This text teaches me that as parents we must instill good principles in our children, so that when they grow up they make good decisions that please Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:27-28. In the texts we could see that Judah was victorious in battle, and returned to Jerusalem rejoicing. This was possible because Jehoshaphat and his subjects followed the instructions that Jehovah gave them. From this we learn that today, we too must praise Jehovah and follow the instructions he gives us through the channel he has established.

2 Chronicles 20:3. This text mentions that Jehoshaphat was afraid, and who would not have been afraid in his place, but the key to his success is that he did not allow fear to paralyze him, but rather, despite fear, he sought Jehovah, it is a great example for each one of us since this text teaches us that despite fear we can trust in Jehovah and not leave him an example of this, it is when we participate in preaching despite the fact that people do not want to listen to us or threaten us to stop preaching

2 Chronicles 20:4. He mentions that they met to consult Jehovah, in our days we meet in person and virtually to continue learning from Jehovah, and consequently redounds in blessing and edification in a spiritual sense. Without a doubt, learning from Jehovah is one of the best habits we can have.

2 Chronicles 20:6. This text teaches us that Jehovah is the Almighty God, and no one, neither government, nor organization, nor religious groups will be able to with him.

2 Chronicles 20:10,11. By praying to Jehovah we can open our hearts, without haste, and express to him what we feel, what is happening to us, and what will help us is to be specific and be honest that we alone cannot, but Jehovah can and in ways that we cannot. we imagine, this will help us to lean on Jehovah at all times.

2 Chronicles 20:10,11. The quality of modesty, that is, recognizing our limitations, will help us to humbly recognize that we do not know what to do, but our eyes look to Jehovah. This concept contradicts the wisdom of the world, where they say that we are gods, that the power is in us, and that we can attract everything, in reality they are fallacies that the world has invented with the aim of moving us away from our creator.

2 Chronicles 20:13. Jehovah wants families to be united, and everyone, big and small, is worshiping him in peace and unity at all times.

2 Chronicles 20:1-28. This text teaches us that we can be sure that Jehovah will let himself be found, if we humbly seek his guidance as mentioned in Proverbs 15:29.

2 Chronicles 20:1-28. To see Jehovah's salvation, we must take our stand in actively supporting God's Kingdom. Instead of wanting to fix things on our own, we have to stand still showing absolute trust in Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:18. Upon hearing the good news that Jehovah was going to save them, Jehoshaphat was able to go rest and drink wine and forget about everything, but instead he fell to the ground and worshiped Jehovah, it is a good example that teaches us that we should not trust in ourselves and forget about Jehovah when the good news arrives or when things get better.

2 Chronicles 20:20. This text teaches us that we can literally lose everything due to natural disasters, robberies, debts. But what we must never lose is our faith in Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 20:21. We too, like the inhabitants of Judah at the time of Jehoshaphat, have to give Praise to Jehovah because his Loyal love lasts forever, And we can ask ourselves how we can praise him. One way is by fervently preaching the kingdom, displaying the same unwavering faith as Jehovah prepares to intervene against his enemies. Although the road is long, let us decide to endure, with active faith, as his victorious people do today in conflictive regions of the Earth.

2 Chronicles 20:26. In the text we can see that after the miraculous victory over the combined forces of Ammon, Moab and Edom. Jehoshaphat gathered the people in this low plain to bless Jehovah, hence the name low plain of Beraca, which means "Blessing".

2 Chronicles 20:30. Jehovah gave Jehoshaphat peace on all sides, and most outstandingly that he gave him peace with his enemies. This teaches us that only Jehovah can give us the peace that we need so much, a peace that many seek through drugs, alcohol, immorality, among many things that are really the only thing that gives them temporary joy.

2 Chronicles 20:37. We see how by having a bad association, a bad friendship of the king lost blessings. We too, because we have bad associations, bad friendships, could end up losing many blessings. So the message is clear: take care of our friendships at work at school even within the congregation.

2 Chronicles 21:20. Jehoram, king of Judah, made a bad name for himself. He turned his subjects away from the worship of Jehovah and even had his six brothers and some princes of the nation put to death. Finally, Jehovah caused him a painful illness that ended his life. The Bible says that Jehoram left without being wanted, or how we read in the Bible he died without anyone regretting it. This teaches us that we can make a bad name or a good name before God. The decision will be made by each one of us.

2 Chronicles 20:37. Jehoshaphat had God's favor until he made an alliance with someone who acted badly in the eyes of Jehovah. This teaches us that in life, we have to be careful with the people we associate with and the environments we frequent to avoid losing God's favor and to be able to do things contrary to what he commands us to make us lose God's favor. God.

2 Chronicles 20:22. Songs of praise to Jehovah ambushed them and they killed each other. This teaches us and we learn from the strength and energy that songs to Jehovah provide us in the meeting and in any other context, that is why we always have to sing with joy to be able to grasp and internalize this strength that Jehovah gives us. with every song of praise.

2 Chronicles 20:15. From this verse we learn to throw our burden to Jehovah, because many difficulties and problems are actually God's battle while what we have to do is stand firm and upright in the eyes of Jehovah and he will help us in the tribulations of this system.

2 Chronicles 20:12. In this verse we can observe an important aspect, and that is that they recognized that they themselves could not fight with that crowd. This teaches us that in order for Jehovah to help us first, we have to be honest with ourselves and be aware that we need the help of God and the elders, once we are aware of this, we ask for that help and Jehovah will always help us in a way or another or through your organization.

2 Chronicles 20:9. We can observe and learn that our meeting places, kingdom halls and assemblies, or in ministry with our brothers is the best place of protection that we can be in in this system. Jehovah protects us and also his brotherhood, which is why we must always shelter ourselves in the people of God.

2 Chronicles 20:6. On many occasions, our strength may be lacking or failing, because we have been struggling with the same thing for a long time or because of our imperfection. But let's remember the second part of this verse, in the hands of Jehovah there is strength and power, and no one can against you. So we have to put our affairs in the hands of Jehovah that no one can knock down.

2 Chronicles 20:4. All the people, the people of Judah, gathered together to inquire of Jehovah. On many occasions in our lives, we have problems that are individual and others that affect the entire family. Do we pray to God together and ask him how to resolve this situation? Just like Judah, if a problem affects our family, we need to involve it, even as the head of the family, and pray together to Jehovah in our family worship.

2 Chronicles 20:3. This verse reminds us that in any situation that we feel fear or fear for what may happen or not know how to resolve a situation, the first thing we have to do is resolve to seek God because he, in his immense wisdom, does have the answer and the way out. to what we should do.
