APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: April 10-16, 2023, First Conversation, Lesson 2, Assignment Prepared.

First conversation (3 min.): Use the topic of ideas to talk and overcome a common objection in your territory (th lesson 2).

Publisher: Good morning, my name is………. This morning we want to talk to you briefly to ask you a very important question if you will allow me.

Helper: You are Jehovah's Witnesses. I can't attend to them, I'm not interested.

Publisher: Yes, we are Jehovah's Witnesses. You have never wondered why Jehovah's Witnesses insist on visiting all kinds of people even though they reject us time after time? Have you ever thought that perhaps we have a very important reason?

Helper: Well, to tell you the truth, I've never wondered that. But now that you don't mention, you've piqued my curiosity. It's okay, I'll take care of you. But please be brief.

Publisher: Okay. Jesus is the most important man in the history of humanity. However, some people have a confusion about who Jesus really is. For you, who is Jesus?

Helper: How is that possible? What confusion? The answer is simple, Jesus is God.

Publisher: Notice that on one occasion, Jesus was talking with his disciples because a controversy had arisen, so he asked them, Who do you think I am? Let me show you the answer that the apostle Peter gave, which is recorded in the Bible. This text of Matthew 16:16 I would like you to be able to read it yourself please.

Helper: Okay, so it says: ………….

Publisher: According to what I just read in this verse, who did the apostle Peter say that Jesus is?

Helper: The apostle Peter said that Jesus is the son of God. Now I'm more confused than before. If Jesus is the son of God, why didn't God save him from death?

Publisher: This is an interesting and very important question. If it's okay with you, I can come back to calmly show you the answer that the Bible gives to the question: Why did Jesus have to die? what does it have to do with the question i just asked.

Helper: Well, you were really brief. If you promise to be brief next time then you can come back and I'll be waiting for that really interesting answer.

Publisher: I thank you for your time, it will be so.

Assistant: You're welcome, on the contrary, thanks to you.
