APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, July 13-19, 2026, Make Return Visits: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 7, Section 4). Assignment Prepared.
Make return visits (4 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Offer a Bible study (lmd lesson 7 point 4).
Setting: During house-to-house witnessing, the publisher speaks with a housewife who says she has lost hope that world conditions will improve. Using a Bible text, he shows her that the Bible foretold these circumstances and explains that God will soon eliminate them through his Kingdom. He then offers her an interactive Bible course, briefly answers her questions, and arranges a follow-up visit to discuss the first lesson.
Publisher: Hello, good afternoon. My name is [name]. We are briefly visiting the neighbors because, with so much news about violence, wars, and economic problems, many people are asking themselves this question: Do you think the world will ever be a better place, or do you think things will continue to get worse?
Assistant: Honestly, I think things are getting worse. You watch the news and it seems like there's no solution left. Frankly, I've lost hope.
Publisher: I understand how you feel. Many people tell us the exact same thing. It's easy to think there's no way out when we see so many problems. But there's something that gave me a lot of hope. Did you know that the Bible described long ago the conditions we live in today?
Assistant: No, not really. I always thought the Bible was a very old book and that it only talked about people who lived thousands of years ago.
Publisher: It's a very old book, but its message remains very relevant today.
For example, in 2 Timothy 3:1 we read: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty that will be hard to endure.” It then mentions that people would be selfish, disloyal, violent, and without love for what is good.
When you hear that description, it seems like it's talking about our time, doesn't it?
Assistant: Yes, it really does look a lot like what we see every day. But if that was already predicted, does that mean things will continue to get worse?
Publisher: That's an excellent question. The good news is that the Bible not only foretells the problems; it also explains how they will end. It says that these difficult times are temporary and that God will establish a government that will bring peace and justice to all humanity.
Assistant: That's something I'd like to understand better.
Publisher: That is precisely why we offer an interactive Bible course using this booklet, “Enjoy Life Forever”.
It's a very simple course. Each lesson answers an important question and includes Bible verses, illustrations, and short videos that help you better understand the topic.
Assistant: It looks interesting. And how much does it cost?
Publisher: Nothing. It's completely free and there's no obligation. Plus, the lessons are very short; they last between five and ten minutes. We can go over them right here at your door, or via video call if that's more convenient for you.
Assistant: I like that it's so short. I haven't had much time lately.
Publisher: I completely understand. That's precisely why the course is designed to adapt to each person's schedule.
The first lesson answers a very practical question: How can the Bible help you? I'm sure it will give you a very hopeful perspective. Would you be willing to discuss it on a future visit?
Assistant: Yes I'd like to.
Publisher: Excellent. Which day of the week works best for you?
Assistant: I almost always go out with my family on weekends. I think a Thursday would be fine.
Publisher: Perfect. Would morning or afternoon work better for you?
Assistant: In the afternoon, around four o'clock. I'm already home by then.
Publisher: Very well. Then, if you'd like, next Thursday at four o'clock we'll discuss the first lesson together: How can the Bible help you? Thank you so much for your time, Sofia. Have a wonderful afternoon.
Assistant: Thank you. I'll see you on Thursday. Have a good afternoon.
