TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD, May 25-31, 2026, How much we love our spiritual paradise!

How we love our spiritual paradise! (10 mins.)

We live in a world full of problems, anxiety, and suffering. People seek peace, security, and hope, but often they don't know where to find them. However, Jehovah's servants now enjoy something very special: a spiritual paradise.

This paradise is not imaginary. It is a reality we experience within Jehovah's organization. There we receive abundant spiritual food, find comfort to face difficulties, and enjoy a peace and security that the world cannot offer.

Let us analyze why we can say with conviction: “How much we love our spiritual paradise!”

In the spiritual paradise, God's servants enjoy spiritual food in abundance (Isa 65:13; cl 275 pars. 12, 14).

While the world suffers spiritual hunger and religious confusion, we enjoy a true spiritual banquet.

LET'S READ ISAIAH 65:13

“Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: Look! My servants will eat, but you will go hungry. Look! My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty. Look! My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.”

This text says that Jehovah’s servants would eat and drink spiritually, while others would suffer hunger. Jesus emphasized the importance of spiritual food when he said at Matthew 4:4: “It is written: ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of Jehovah’s mouth.’”

These words teach us that spiritual food is more important than physical food. Why? Because physical food only helps us live a few more years, while spiritual food can lead us to eternal life.

Jehovah has shown great love by giving us abundant spiritual food. Since 1919, when he restored pure worship, he has poured out spiritual blessings on his people. Just as depicted in the vision of the river flowing out of the temple, Jehovah’s blessings have become ever more abundant.

Today we enjoy Bibles, publications, meetings, assemblies, and spiritual videos in many languages. Thanks to this, millions of people are learning life-giving truths.

Among these teachings, the redemption of Jesus Christ stands out. Thanks to his sacrifice, we can have a clear conscience and the hope of living forever. What a precious gift!

Each meeting, each assembly, and each Bible study strengthens our faith and helps us to stay close to Jehovah.

In our spiritual paradise, we find everything we need to cope with pain and anguish (Isa 65:14-17; w24.04 22 pars. 9, 10).

We all face problems. Sometimes we suffer illness, financial difficulties, disappointments, or the loss of loved ones. This world can cause much emotional pain. But Jehovah offers us relief within the spiritual paradise.

LET'S READ ISAIAH 65:14

“Look! My servants will shout for joy because their hearts feel good, but you will cry out because your hearts are broken and you will weep because your spirits are crushed.”

This text mentions that those who remain far from Jehovah “will cry out because of the pain of their hearts.” In contrast, God’s servants find peace and spiritual relief. Furthermore, Jehovah promises at Isaiah 65:16, 17 that the anxieties of the past will be forgotten. He will completely eliminate pain and suffering.

Although we still live in this system, we can already experience some of that peace. Think about how we feel when we attend Christian meetings. Often we arrive tired, worried, or sad, but after listening to the comments, singing, and fellowshipping with the brothers and sisters, we feel refreshed and encouraged. Why does this happen? Because in the spiritual paradise, Jehovah's holy spirit is at work.

We can all contribute to maintaining such a peaceful atmosphere. How? By demonstrating the qualities of the fruitage of the spirit: love, joy, peace, kindness, and mildness, as mentioned in Galatians 5:22, 23. When we display these qualities, we help our brothers and sisters feel safe, loved, and encouraged.

How wonderful it is to belong to an organization where we find true support and people who genuinely care about us!

There is nothing in the world that can compare with the peace and security of our spiritual paradise (Is 65:25; w24.04 23 par. 13).

The world promises peace and security, but never delivers. Every day we witness violence, division, selfishness, and hatred. In contrast, in the spiritual paradise, we enjoy extraordinary unity.

LET'S READ ISAIAH 65:25

“The wolf and the lamb will feed together, The lion will eat straw just like the bull, And the serpent’s food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain, says Jehovah.

This text describes an atmosphere of peace using symbolic images of animals living together harmoniously. That prophecy is being fulfilled today. Many people who previously exhibited violent, immoral, or aggressive behavior have been completely transformed thanks to the Holy Spirit and the application of biblical principles.

Jehovah has accomplished a miracle: uniting people of different cultures, languages, and backgrounds to live in love and peace. Of course, we are still imperfect and make mistakes, but even so, a worldwide brotherhood based on genuine love exists among us.

No human organization can accomplish that. Only Jehovah can bring about such a profound transformation in millions of people. That is why we feel safe among our brothers and sisters. We know that we are surrounded by people who love Jehovah and want to do what is right.

In the picture in our activity guide, we see several scenes of brothers enjoying the spiritual paradise. These scenes show us that, in this spiritual paradise, we can enjoy friendship and peace with Jehovah and with those who serve him.

Conclusion

Without a doubt, we have many reasons to love our spiritual paradise. In it, we enjoy abundant spiritual food that strengthens our faith and draws us closer to Jehovah. We find comfort and strength to endure pain and distress. And we enjoy a peace and security that the world can never offer.

So let us deeply cherish this beautiful spiritual paradise. Let us never allow the distractions or problems of this world to pull us away from it.

If we remain close to Jehovah and his organization, we will continue to enjoy this spiritual paradise from now on and very soon we will see the complete fulfillment of Jehovah's promise to create "new heavens and a new earth".
