Play the video "Let's Do Everything Jehovah's Way." Then ask:

When faced with challenges such as persecution, immoral influences, or the trap of pride, why is it better to do things Jehovah's way?

When we do things God's way, He takes care of us and protects us at all times, even in the midst of the most difficult challenges and trials.

The example of the brother who was imprisoned in Chicago clearly demonstrates this. Despite being in a very difficult situation, he trusted in Jehovah and left everything in his hands. Jehovah took care of him and protected him, not only during his imprisonment but at all times. This gives us confidence and security, because we know that Jehovah is always with us and cares for us no matter what we are going through.

Doing things God's way can radically change our lives. The example of the brother who was influenced by an immoral lifestyle but then remembered what he had learned from Jehovah and decided to change shows Jehovah's ability to transform our lives.

By applying the principle at Matthew 16:24 and denying himself, he was able to experience a profound change and begin living a life that enabled him to serve Jehovah with joy and purpose. This teaches us that no matter how many mistakes we have made in the past, Jehovah is always willing to give us a second chance and help us to change for the better.

When we let pride get the better of us, we can lose sight of what is truly important. The brother who was focused on receiving privileges and assignments was being led astray by a proud and selfish attitude. However, thanks to the coordinator's counsel, he was able to see that the problem was not the other brothers, but his own attitude. It is beautiful to see how Jehovah helps us recognize our mistakes and change our perspective.

By understanding that obedience to Jehovah and humility are more important than any privilege or recognition, the brother was able to begin focusing on what truly matters. This teaches us that when we face challenges such as the trap of pride, doing things Jehovah’s way is the best option for spiritual growth and living a life that pleases him. Doing things Jehovah’s way is the key to a full and happy life.

Just as Jesus did his utmost to do his Father’s will, we too should strive to do what pleases Jehovah. Although it may not always be the easiest or most convenient course of action, when we do things Jehovah’s way, our lives are transformed, and we can serve him with joy and purpose. The brothers in the video are a clear example of this and inspire us to follow their example and do things Jehovah’s way, regardless of the challenges or difficulties.
