APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, November 3-9, 2025, Start conversations: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 1, point 3). Assignment Prepared.
Start conversations (3 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Use one of the truths in appendix A of the booklet A Work of Love (lmd lesson 1 point 3).
Setting: During house-to-house witnessing, the publisher has a conversation with a person, addressing the uncertainty of today's world and the need for hope, centered on Bible principles and the promise of God's Kingdom.
Publisher: Hello, good morning. How are you?
Assistant: Good morning. I'm fine. How can I help you?
Publisher: Today I am talking to people about the importance of reading the Bible.
Assistant: Yes, I've read the Bible. It's an important book, but I don't know if it can really make a difference in our lives. Besides, with everything that's going on in the world, I don't know if it's even worth reading.
Publisher: What does he mean?
Assistant: Well, I've seen the news and it seems like governments are allowing a lot of illegal and corrupt things. I wonder if there's really anyone who can do anything about it.
Publisher: I understand your concerns. The Bible says that God, very soon, through his Kingdom, will replace human governments. As Daniel 2:44 says: “In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or left to any other people. It will crush all those kingdoms and put an end to them, but it alone will endure forever.”
Although some governments may want to do good things, they don't have the capacity to accomplish everything they set out to do, and in time they are replaced by others who may not care as much about the people. But Jesus, the King of the Kingdom of God, no one will ever replace him.
Assistant: That sounds very interesting. Do you think this could actually happen?
Publisher: Yes. The Bible gives us many prophecies and promises that let us know God will fulfill His word. Thanks to the Kingdom of God, we will have a wonderful future. What do you think?
Assistant: I think it's very good.
