Are you using Appendix A, “Biblical Truths We Love to Teach”? (15 mins.) Discussion with the audience.
If we're talking with someone and we see that it's a good time, how can we present a simple biblical truth? (lmd appendix A).
We might say something like, “Did you know that God promises to end suffering on Earth?” Then you can open your Bible to Revelation 21:4 and read, “And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither shall there be sorrow nor crying nor pain anymore.”
Then you can add something simple, like, "God wants us to live in a world without suffering, and that is a sure promise." In this way, we plant a seed in the person's heart and show them a positive aspect of the future that Jehovah guarantees.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
If we want to present a simple biblical truth about the future, we might say something like: Did you know the Bible says there will soon be a better future for humanity? God promises that there will be peace, health, and happiness for all. For example, He states that the Earth will never be destroyed and that the damage to the environment will be repaired. He also promises that we will all have perfect health and be able to live forever on Earth. Would you like to know more about that?
What issues are of most interest to people in the area?
Many people are interested in the future and the safety of their families. They are concerned about the global situation, violence, and economic instability. Therefore, hearing that the Bible promises a world at peace, where no one will be afraid and families can live safely, awakens hope and motivates people to continue listening.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
The themes that most appeal to people in the region tend to be: the hope for a better future, free from problems and suffering; the importance of family; the search for truth and life's purpose; and the global situation and how it will affect the future of humanity.
In our conversations, we try to show them that the Bible offers answers to their questions and concerns about the global situation, violence, and economic instability, and we explain that God has a purpose for humanity that will soon be fulfilled.
What can we do to become more familiar with the biblical texts in Appendix A?
We can dedicate a set time each week to reading and reviewing the texts in Appendix A. If we associate them with everyday situations or questions people often ask, they will be easier to remember when we need them. We can also practice them as a family or with a friend, asking each other questions to reinforce our memory.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
To become more familiar with the Bible texts in Appendix A, we can regularly read and study the passages mentioned, memorize some of the key texts so we can remember and share them with others, reflect on how to apply their teachings in our daily lives, speak about these biblical truths in a natural and respectful manner, and pray for wisdom and guidance in understanding and applying them.
Regularly reading and studying the passages mentioned, memorizing key texts, reflecting on how to apply these teachings in our daily lives, speaking respectfully about these truths, and asking Jehovah for guidance and wisdom will allow us to have a greater understanding and familiarity with the scriptures, which in turn will help us share them effectively with others.
It's important to commit ourselves to remembering at least one Bible passage from each topic in Appendix A, starting with the most relevant ones in our area, and using them in our preaching to make them easier to remember. This way, we can share biblical truths with others in a natural and effective way.
Play the video "Iron Sharpens Iron": How to Reach More People. Then ask:
What can help us talk to more people in our area?
As we saw in the video “Iron Sharpens Iron: How to Reach More People,” there are three tips that can help us reach more people in our area:
First, let's be observant. This means being alert to opportunities to talk to people in our territory, whether at their doorsteps or on the way between one door and another.
Two, let's be well prepared. This includes learning to greet and ask simple questions in the language of the people who live in our territory, using tools like the JW Language app.
Three, let's continue reaching out to people and cultivating interest. This means trying to reconnect with those we haven't reached at home at another time and continuing to build on the interest they showed in speaking with us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
We can achieve this if we are observant. Often we don't find anyone at home, but perhaps on the street or between doors there are people to talk to. If we remember that our goal is to bear witness at all times, we will discover more opportunities.
By applying the biblical truths in the appendix to our conversations, we can share the message in an authentic and meaningful way. Remember, the key is to be natural and genuine in our interactions, allowing God's Word to touch hearts and lives.
By familiarizing ourselves with these themes and biblical texts, we will be able to respond effectively to people's questions and needs and share God's love in a way that impacts their lives. Let us continue to strive to be disciples who love and serve others, and who share the good news in a natural and authentic way.
