Talk (5 min.): w11 6/1 14-15. Title: Why Are Christians Well Organized? (th lec. 14).
To carry out a work successfully it is essential that your workers are well organized. Now, what is the most important work that true Christians have? To answer that question let's please go to the Bible to read Matthew 24:14. If they do, it says there: "And the good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all nations, and then the end will come."
That's right brothers and good-hearted people who visit us. Jesus commanded his followers to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all nations. This work is huge. So it would be impossible to do it without an international organization.
To illustrate, let's look at the following example: If you had to feed a person, that would be relatively easy. But if, on the contrary, you had to feed thousands or millions of people all over the world, wouldn't you need many collaborators who were also well organized and coordinated?
Well, followers of Christ work shoulder to shoulder with our brothers throughout the world as if we were one. In this way we apply Zephaniah 3:9 which in part says that our God Jehovah would change our languages into a pure language, so that we could call on his name and serve him shoulder to shoulder. Hence, a united, harmonious, international, multilingual, multiracial organization was needed.
But why else should Christians be well organized? As preaching and teaching the message of the Kingdom of God in this world brings with it difficulties and dangers, we need to encourage each other, in order to fulfill the mandate of Jesus, also because we need expert help to carry out this great work.
Hence, the Christian congregation receives training and encouragement not to give up. Imagine, where would we go to learn about the divine ways if there were no Christian Meetings in which one learns from God and worships him?
Please read John 10:16, there it says: "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I have to bring those also, and they will listen to my voice. They will form one flock with one shepherd." Did you notice? True Christians cannot be scattered among Churches and independent groups, nor divided by doctrinal issues. Rather we must be united, ordered, organized as a single brotherhood in order to count on God's blessing.
Those of us who make up this worldwide brotherhood have been drawn by our sincere love for Jehovah and Biblical truths. Jehovah's Witnesses strive to do God's will. We have absolute confidence in the fulfillment: of the promise that Jehovah God makes us in 2 Corinthians 6:16, which I invite you to read. If they have it there it says: I will reside among them and I will walk among them and I will be their God, and they will be my People.
Dear friends who visit us, you too can enjoy this wonderful blessing of worshiping Jehovah with your organization. You are all welcome!
