APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: 13-19-February-2023, Speech, Lesson 8, Assignment Prepared.

Talk (5 min.): w16.01 13-14 pars. 7-10. Title: "The love of Christ compels us" (2Co 5:14) (th lec. 8).

Have you ever been given a gift or? How did you feel? Surely very happy, but note that there are some gifts that are so special that they not only cause happiness, but can also change our lives.

Dear brothers and kind-hearted people who visit us, I will illustrate it with the following example: Imagine that you do something bad and are sentenced to death, but suddenly an unknown person offers to die for you, how would you feel? Perhaps you feel compelled by gratitude to make some changes in your life, perhaps you want to show more love and generosity to others and forgive those who have treated you badly, surely you would like to dedicate the rest of your life to showing that you are grateful what that unknown person did for you.

Now, the gift that Jehovah God has given us is much greater than that of the previous example, in our case, since we are all sinners, we are all condemned to die. But Jehovah loves us so much that he sent his son to die instead of us.

Just like the man in the example, he felt impelled to make changes in his life. What does the love of Christ compel us to do? To find out the answer please accompany me in the reading of second Corinthians 5 14 and 15 if you have it there it says like this:

WE ARE GOING TO READ 1 CORINTHIANS 5:14,15.

«The love of the Christ compels us, for this is the conclusion we have reached: that one man died for everything, so that all had already died. And he died for all so that those who live no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised."

Did you notice? The love of Christ compels us in the sense that gratitude should move us to use our lives to honor him. By writing the words of 2 Corinthians 5 14 and 15 the apostle Paul shows us that if we appreciate the love of Jesus we will feel the desire to love and honor him, and if we understand well what Jehovah has done for us, we will also feel impelled to make sure that May our life honor Jesus.

But how can we do it? we will do it if we obey Jehovah and the Christ out of love, that is to say voluntarily and willingly. We are at the door of the campaign for the commemoration of the death of Christ, so it is an important occasion, not only to remember the sacrifice of Jesus, but also to show our gratitude to him and to Jehovah. We can do this by giving more in the Ministry and also self-examining ourselves to see what small and big changes we must make to more imitate the model of Christ.

Let's remember this if we love Jehovah and Jesus we must get rid of anything that is bad for a Christian even if it costs us a lot. Let's also keep in mind that when we dedicated our life to Jehovah we promised to use it to honor the Christ so we should not have anything that makes us It is difficult to copy the example of Jesus because, as First Timothy 2 9 and 10 says, our modesty should lead us to dress in good works as is typical of those who claim to have devotion to God.
