My servants will shout for joy (Is. 65:14).

Christians feel heartfelt gratitude to God, and that is why they shout for joy. Why does their “heart feel” so good? Because they find truths and promises in God’s Word that greatly encourage them. Moreover, they have a solid hope, based on Jesus’ sacrifice. How happy they are when they talk about all these things! (Psalm 34:8; 133:1-3)

Two of the main characteristics of the spiritual paradise are the unity and love that Jehovah’s people enjoy. This love, which is like “a bond of union,” helps us to see what life will be like in the new world. There, we will experience far greater love and unity than we do today (Col. 3:14). Anyone who wants to live a happy and contented life must enter the spiritual paradise. Whatever this world says about us, in the eyes of Jehovah and his universal family, we have a good name, an honorable reputation (Isa. 65:15). w24.04 21 pars. 7, 8

What will happen to the things that cause us pain? (Isaiah 65:16, 17).

We feel calm and relaxed. Isaiah 65:14 says that those who choose to remain outside the spiritual paradise will “cry out because of the pain of their hearts and weep because their spirits are broken.” And what about God’s servants? What will happen to the things that have caused them pain? Jehovah promises: “The anxieties of the past will be forgotten; they will be hidden from my eyes.” (Read Isaiah 65:16, 17.) He will make the problems disappear, and in time the pain of those memories will be completely erased.

Why would you say it is a blessing to be with your brothers and sisters?

Even now we feel calm and relaxed at Christian meetings. When we are there, we put aside the worries of this wicked world. How can we contribute to maintaining such a peaceful atmosphere in the spiritual paradise? By demonstrating the qualities of the fruitage of the spirit, including love, happiness, peace, kindness, and mildness (Gal. 5:22, 23). What a blessing it is to be part of God’s organization! If we do not abandon the spiritual paradise, we will be able to see God fulfill his promise to “create new heavens and a new earth” down to the last detail.

How should we feel about living in the spiritual paradise? (Isaiah 65:18, 19).

We feel grateful and full of enthusiasm. Isaiah goes on to explain why we, as servants of God, have ample reason to rejoice and be happy. The spiritual paradise in which we live is a creation of Jehovah (read Isaiah 65:18, 19). No wonder God uses us to encourage people to leave the spiritual deserts of this old world and enter the oasis of the Christian congregation. How happy we are to be in the truth! And that is why we want to share these blessings with others (Jer. 31:12).
