APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, June 8-14, 2026, Start conversations: PUBLIC PREACHING. (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 2, point 3). Assignment Prepared.

Start conversations (2 mins.) PUBLIC PREACHING. (lmd lesson 2 point 3).

Setting: During the public witnessing with the publication carts in a public place, a person approaches and shows interest in a publication. The publisher takes the opportunity to show him a Bible text indicating that God will act against those who destroy the earth. Finally, the person accepts the publication, and the publisher offers help to resolve any questions that may arise after reading it.

Assistant: Can I take a post?

Publisher: Of course, with pleasure. By the way, did you know that the Bible promises that God will act to save the Earth before humankind completely destroys it?

Assistant: No, the truth is I didn't know.

Publisher: Many people are surprised to hear that, and it's understandable, because today we see how pollution and the misuse of resources are seriously affecting the planet.

Assistant: Yes, that is something that is really worrying.

Publisher: That's right. But the Bible gives us a very encouraging hope. If I may show you, Revelation 11:18 mentions that God will put an end to those who are destroying the Earth.

Assistant: That's great news! It would be wonderful if that happened, because it seems we haven't been able to solve the problem.

Publisher: Exactly. Moreover, God’s purpose is not only to stop the destruction but to restore the earth to its perfect condition. That is precisely the subject of the magazine he is carrying: Awake!, issue 1 of 2023, entitled What Will Become of Our Planet? There Are Reasons to Hope.

Assistant: How interesting! Then I'll read it very carefully.

Publisher: I'm glad to hear that. And if after reading it you have any questions or would like to discuss the topic further, we'd be happy to help.

Assistant: Thank you very much. I really appreciate your time.

Publisher: It's been a pleasure. Have a great day.

Assistant: Likewise. Thank you very much for the post.
