APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, April 6-12, 2026, Make Return Visits: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 9, Section 4). Assignment Prepared.
Make return visits (4 mins.) HOUSE TO HOUSE. The person attended the Memorial. Invite him/her to the next meeting (lmd lesson 9 item 4).
Setting: The publisher visits a person who attended the Memorial, asks what they thought of the meeting, and takes the opportunity to invite them to a future meeting.
Publisher: Hello, [name]! It's so good to see you again. I was so glad you could attend the Memorial. What did you think?
Assistant: Hi. I really enjoyed it. I was struck by everyone's respect and attentiveness. Also, the message about the importance of Jesus' sacrifice was very clear and it really made me think.
Publisher: I'm so glad to hear that. I remember the last time he was telling me how worried he was about his children's future, and right at the Memorial we talked about the hope God gives us.
Assistant: Yes, that's true. One does get quite worried, especially seeing the state of the world today.
Publisher: I understand perfectly. That's why I wanted to share a verse with you that brings me a lot of peace. It's in Psalm 37:11 and it says: “But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy abundant peace.”
Assistant: That sounds really nice.
Publisher: Yes, isn't it? It speaks not only of a better world, but of "abundant peace." Imagine what it would mean for you and your family to live without that constant fear for your children's future.
Assistant: It would be a great relief… although sometimes it seems hard to believe that something like that could happen.
Publisher: It's understandable to think that way. But the beautiful thing is that the Bible also explains why we can trust God to keep his promises. In fact, there's a conference this weekend that addresses precisely that question. It's titled: “Is a Peaceful Future Possible?”
Assistant: Sounds interesting.
Publisher: I'm sure you'll like it. It will also help you see how that hope can bring us peace of mind right now. Would you like to join me?
Assistant: Yes I'd like to.
Publisher: Excellent. The meeting is on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. There are no collections, and everything is based on the Bible. If you'd like, I can pick you up a few minutes early.
Assistant: That sounds good to me, I'll wait for it.
