APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, February 23-March 1, 2026, Make Disciples. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love. Lesson 11, Section 3). Assignment Prepared.
Make Disciples (5 mins.) lff lesson 18 summary, review and “Resolve to Do This.” Use an article or video from the “Find Out More” section to help your student see the love shown by Jehovah’s Witnesses (lmd lesson 11 item 3).
Setting: During the Bible study, the publisher and his student finish lesson 18 and review the summary and related questions for identifying true Christians: their Bible-based beliefs, the practical love they demonstrate, and their work of preaching God’s Kingdom. They then discuss the section “Resolve to Do This,” considering spiritual goals such as attending meetings and visiting the branch office. Finally, they watch an informative video about who Jehovah’s Witnesses are and conclude the lesson with a prayer.
Publisher: Hi, it's good to see you again. Today we'll be finishing Lesson 18 with the summary, review, and the "Set This Goal" section. What did you take away from the summary?
Assistant: According to the summary, true Christians follow biblical teachings, are willing to make sacrifices out of love for others, and preach the truth of the Bible.
Publisher: Very good. The first review question is: On what do true Christians base their beliefs?
Assistant: In the Bible. True Christians obey the teachings of Jesus, and he himself based everything he taught on the Scriptures.
Publisher: Very good answer. The next question is: what quality identifies authentic Christians?
Assistant: The quality that identifies them is love, but it is not just any love, but one that is demonstrated with actions and that is willing to make sacrifices for others.
Publisher: That's right. It's practical love. What work do true Christians do?
Assistant: True Christians carry out the work of preaching the Kingdom of God and biblical teachings wherever there are people, including public places and homes.
Publisher: Very good. To conclude our lesson, the manual suggests a very special goal in the section “Set This Goal for Yourself.” It says: “If you have the opportunity, visit the nearest branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” But there are other goals you can set for yourself. The manual mentions several other objectives. What might one be?
Assistant: One of them could be attending meetings to see how that Christian love is demonstrated.
Publisher: That's great. It's an excellent opportunity to meet other brothers and sisters in the faith and to learn more about the Bible. Would you like to watch a video from the "Find Out More" section that talks about who Jehovah's Witnesses are and what we do?
Assistant: Yes of course.
Publisher: What did you think of the video? Did you like it?
Assistant: Yes, I liked the love that Jehovah's Witnesses show each other.
Publisher: Exactly. That love is possible because we are a group of people from different cultures and languages, but with the same beliefs and goals. We worship Jehovah and follow the example of Jesus Christ, striving to teach others about the Bible and God's Kingdom. You have prepared very well. Now let's conclude with a prayer.
