Imagine life as a labyrinth filled with confusing paths and hidden dangers, where many people wander lost, unsure of which way to turn. In the middle of this labyrinth, there is a bridge that spans it, offering a safe and clear path to the other side.

A man who has successfully traversed the labyrinth extends his hand to guide another to the exit, showing him the path he himself has traveled.

This image is a perfect metaphor for what it means to choose someone to emulate in our lives. The man leading the way represents someone who shows us the right path, a person with exemplary conduct who inspires us to follow in his footsteps.

The bridge symbolizes the positive influence that person has on our lives, helping us overcome the dangers of the labyrinth, bad decisions and harmful habits, and guiding us towards a safe and successful future.

The Bible encourages us to look at those who have exemplary conduct and to imitate their faith.

LET'S READ HEBREWS 13:7

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you, and, observing the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.”

This means we should choose someone who inspires us to be better, someone who shows us the path to true happiness and success. It's not about choosing someone popular or famous, but rather someone whose example motivates us to grow, who demonstrates that it's possible to achieve our goals and overcome our fears. The person we choose will influence how we think, feel, and behave.

That's why it's essential to choose someone who has qualities worth emulating, someone who inspires us to be better and helps us achieve our goals.

The Bible also warns us that bad company can corrupt our good habits.

LET'S READ 1 CORINTHIANS 15:33

“Don’t be deceived. Bad company corrupts good character.”

This highlights the importance of choosing someone who will guide us down the right path and not someone who will lead us down the wrong paths.

Furthermore, it's crucial that we strive to be good role models for others, as we never know who is watching. Sometimes, a single word or action can change someone's life.

By choosing who to imitate, we are choosing the path we wish to follow in life, because that person will be our role model and their influence will be reflected in our decisions.

That's why it's important to choose wisely and allow that person to guide us across the bridge to a bright future, far from the labyrinth of bad decisions.

If we want to be happy and have a hopeful future, we must choose someone who inspires us to be better and guides us on the right path. Why not choose to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who is the perfect model of love, compassion, and sacrifice? He shows us the way to happiness and eternal life. Don't wait any longer.
