APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, January 26-February 1, 2026, Make Disciples: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love. Lesson 10, Point 3). Assignment Prepared.

Make Disciples (2 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Offer a Bible course (lmd lesson 10 point 3).

Setting: During a visit to someone who had previously expressed interest, the publisher refers back to a previously mentioned Bible text about the love a husband should show his wife and the respect a wife should show her husband. The publisher offers a Bible study and arranges to meet the person's preferred time and place to begin the study.

Publisher: Hi, I'm glad to see you again.

Assistant: I'm happy to see her too.

Publisher: How have you been since we last spoke?

Assistant: I'm fine thanks.

Publisher: I've been thinking a lot about what we talked about last time regarding the role of the wife in marriage.

Assistant: The truth is, I've also thought a lot about that topic and I want to better understand what the Bible says about it. You read me a Bible verse that day that I found very interesting.

Publisher: Let's review that text. It's Ephesians 5:33. “However, each one of you must love his wife as he loves himself. In turn, the wife must have deep respect for her husband.”

You know, I'd like to offer you a Bible course. It would help you better understand what the Bible says about marriage and your relationship with your husband. What do you think?

Assistant: Yes, I would love to, but I could do it on a more relaxed schedule. My schedule at home is rather complicated, and I don't want it to be a burden on my husband.

Publisher: Of course. How about we meet in the park? It's a quiet place and we can talk without interruptions.

Assistant: That sounds perfect.

Publisher: What time suits you?

Assistant: At 5 pm; we could meet on Thursday.

Publisher: That sounds good to me. Then, Thursday at 5 p.m. in the park.

Assistant: Perfect. Thank you for your flexibility and for being willing to adapt to my schedule.

Publisher: You're welcome. I'll be there on Thursday.
