APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, December 29, 2025–January 4, 2026, Make Return Visits: PUBLIC PREACHING. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 9, Section 4). Assignment Prepared.

Make Return Visits (4 mins.) PUBLIC PREACHING. (lmd lesson 9 point 4).

Setting: During a return visit, the publisher has a conversation with someone facing health problems. The conversation takes place in a friendly and empathetic atmosphere, where a previously mentioned Bible theme is revisited, comfort based on the Scriptures is offered, and a Bible study is proposed.

Publisher: Hello, Mrs. [name], how are you? It's good to see you again. How has your arthritis been lately?

Assistant: My arthritis is doing a little better. It's still a day-by-day thing. Thanks for coming back and asking. It's difficult sometimes, but I try to stay positive. The medication helps, but there are still days when the pain is very intense.

Publisher: I remember that the last time we spoke, I mentioned that God will soon eliminate all sickness and we will have perfect health. We read what Isaiah 33:24 says, but we can review it: “And no one living in the land will say, ‘I am sick.’ The people who live in this land will be forgiven for their sin.”

Assistant: Thank you, [name], truly. Sometimes those words give me hope, even though the pain doesn't disappear immediately. It's as if God is telling me that something better is coming, something worth waiting for. And that gives me the strength to keep going.

Publisher: I understand. Sometimes comfort comes from knowing that we are not alone, that our Creator knows what we are going through.

Assistant: That's comforting. It makes me feel like I'm not fighting alone, that there's someone who supports and cares for me.

Publisher: Yes, you're absolutely right. When we study the Bible, we find stories of people who went through trials and found peace, like Job, who suffered greatly but never lost his faith in God. That's why, if you study the Bible, your life could improve now and in the future. What do you think? The Bible gives us practical advice for living a happy and fulfilling life; it teaches us to love others, to forgive, to be patient, and to trust in God.

Assistant: That sounds like a wonderful idea. I'd love to try it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Publisher: With pleasure. I know that, with God's help, you will find strength each day. Shall we begin the study on Saturday?

Assistant: Yes, I'd love to. Thanks again.
