APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, December 29, 2025 - January 4, 2026, Start conversations: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 2, point 5). Assignment Prepared.

Start conversations (3 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (lmd lesson 2 point 5).

Setting: During house-to-house witnessing, the publisher initiates a conversation with an interested person, addressing common concerns such as death and suffering, and using a Bible text to offer comfort and hope, leaving open the possibility of further discussion.

Publisher: Good morning, my name is [name]. Who am I speaking with?

Assistant: My name is [name]. How can I help you?

Publisher: Nice to meet you, [name]. Talking with our neighbors, we've noticed that many people wonder what happens after death, and there are many different opinions on the matter. But what's your opinion?

Assistant: Well, I don't know exactly what happens after death, but I'd like to believe we continue living somewhere else. Although, more than that, I'd like to know why there is so much suffering and pain in the world. It's something we see every day, and it affects us all.

Publisher: That's a concern we all share. I'd like to show you what the Bible says about it, because it gives us great comfort to know that suffering won't last forever.

It is written in Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

As you can see, God will soon put an end to all that pain and suffering. What do you think?

Assistant: It's comforting to think that, even though we see so much suffering now, there will be a day when it will all be gone. Knowing that gives me a lot of encouragement and hope to keep going. Thank you for sharing it with me; it's given me a lot to think about.

Publisher: You're welcome. Would you mind if we continued discussing this topic another day?

Assistant: Yes, of course. I would very much like to continue talking with you about this topic.
