APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, November 24-30, 2025, Start conversations: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making disciples: a work of love, Lesson 3, point 3). Assignment Prepared.

Start conversations (3 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Use one of the truths in appendix A of the booklet A Work of Love (lmd lesson 3 point 3).

Setting: During the house-to-house witnessing, the publisher speaks with a person who is overwhelmed and very worried about his mother's health. The publisher offers spiritual comfort by using a Bible principle that shows God cares about our sufferings and wants to help us.

Publisher: Hello how are you?

Assistant: Hi, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. My mother has become seriously ill and I'm very worried about her.

Publisher: I can see you're sad. I'm so sorry; it must be hard for you.

Assistant: Yes. The doctor says it's serious and I don't know if it will get better.

Publisher: I understand; it's normal to feel that way. Have you spoken to the doctor about treatment options?

Assistant: Yes, I've spoken, but I don't know if it's enough.

Publisher: I understand. If you'll allow me, I'll read a verse from the Bible that might be of great help right now.

Assistant: Yes, of course, you can read it.

Publisher: It's 1 Peter 5:7. It says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” God loves us and cares deeply about what happens to us, and that's why he wants us to tell him everything that worries us. That's why we can and should trust him completely.

Assistant: That's beautiful. I didn't know that.

Publisher: Yes, it's a very beautiful promise; we can trust in God and give him our worries.

Assistant: Yes, I'll try to do that. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

Publisher: You are welcome.
