Make return visits (2 min.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Show the person our website, jw.org (lmd lesson 9 point 4).
Setting: During a return visit, the publisher has a conversation with an interested person. During the conversation, which takes place in a friendly and trusting atmosphere, the publisher presents online Bible resources through jw.org. He also guides the person in searching for useful Bible information, reading Bible passages, and offers a Bible study to deepen their knowledge.
Publisher: Hello, Ms. Maria, it's nice to see you again. Last time we spoke, you mentioned that you were interested in learning more about the Bible. I really enjoyed our conversation and have been thinking a lot about what we discussed.
Assistant: Yes, I've been thinking a lot about what we talked about. I'd like to know more.
Publisher: I'm glad you feel that way. Today I came with the idea of showing you something I think might be very helpful to you. You can find very valuable information on our website jw.org.
Assistant: Really? I've never heard of that website.
Publisher: Yes, it's a website that has a lot of useful information about the Bible and related topics. Would you like to check it out?
Assistant: Yes, of course, I would love to.
Publisher: Well, look: here you can search for specific topics like family, prayer, or any topic that interests you. You can type it here, in this magnifying glass, and it will take you to a lot of useful information. What topic would you like to search for?
Assistant: I'm going to write the word "Bible."
Publisher: Excellent. Note that there are several articles here: "What is the Bible?", "Does the Bible Contradict Itself?", "Has the Bible Been Changed?", and many more. Which one catches your eye?
Assistant: I like this one: “What is the Bible?”
Publisher: Well, here we can click on the information and see that it's entirely based on what the Bible says. Look at this text quoted here: 1 Thessalonians 2:13. We can click and read that text too. Would you like to read it?
Assistant: Of course, it says: “For this reason we also give thanks to God constantly, because when you received the word of God, which you heard through us, you did not accept it as the word of men, but as what it truly is, the word of God, which is also at work in you who believe.”
Publisher: Excellent read. So, as you can see, there's a lot of useful information about the Bible on this site. There are many interesting topics for you to read.
Assistant: I really like this site. I think it's a very comprehensive site.
Publisher: Of course. I'd also like to offer you a Bible course. I'm sure it can help you greatly improve your life, and in the future, if you continue studying the Bible and acquiring knowledge, you can get to know God better and grow closer to Him. What do you think?
Assistant: I find it very interesting. I'd actually like it.
Publisher: Excellent. So, see you on Thursday. Is that okay with you?
Assistant: Sure, I'll wait for you.
