LIVING AS CHRISTIANS, September 22-28, 2025, Three Important Lessons on Training. Analysis and Responses.

Three important lessons about training (15 mins.) Discussion with the audience.

Play the video "Imitating Jehovah in Training Others" (John 5:20) (excerpt). Then ask:

As we look at how Jehovah trains others, what three lessons do we learn?

1. Jehovah teaches others because he loves them: This teaches us that love is fundamental in training. When we train others, we demonstrate love and help them become more efficient and productive in their work.

2. Jehovah teaches others everything He Himself does: This shows us the importance of teamwork and mutual training. We want to teach our brothers everything we know and have learned, and we are also willing to learn from them.

3. Jehovah trains others with the idea that they will have greater responsibilities in the future: This teaches us that we should look for opportunities to help others progress and take on more responsibilities. We want to imitate Jehovah and help younger people develop their skills and abilities so they can better serve in the congregation and in God's work.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

We can learn many important lessons by examining how Jehovah trains others. We see that when we train others, we are showing Jehovah's love for his children. Just as Jehovah taught Jesus with love and dedication, we must be willing to teach others unselfishly, with a good attitude and a desire to help them grow.

We can imitate our loving Heavenly Father and reflect his spirit in our actions. By training others with love and humility, we are not only helping them develop their skills, but we are also showing our gratitude to Jehovah for all he has taught and trained us.

The Father taught Jesus motivated by love. Likewise, when we train others with patience and dedication, we demonstrate true love and help them feel happy and useful in the work.

He didn't just give instructions, he showed how to do things. He reminds us of the importance of teamwork and passing on what we've learned so that others can serve effectively.

Jesus was trained with the expectation that he would later do greater works. This teaches us to prepare our brothers and sisters to take on greater tasks in the future.
