APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, August 11-17, 2025, Make Return Visits: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 7, point 4). Prepared Assignment.

Make return visits (4 min.) from house to house. On a previous visit, the person accepted a tract. Continue the conversation (LMD lesson 7, point 4).

Setting: The publisher returns to visit a woman who accepted a tract in a previous conversation. She reestablishes contact with respect and enthusiasm, analyzes the final texts of the tract, and plans a next visit.

Publisher: (Knocks on the door) Good morning, Mrs. [name].

Assistant: Good morning, [name]. Nice to see you again.

Publisher: The pleasure is mine. What did you think of the treatise? Were you able to finish reading it?

Assistant: Yes, I read it all and I really liked it. I have a Bible and I was able to read the texts cited there. (Shows the tract) Look, I have the tract here at hand.

Publisher: I congratulate you on your interest in learning from the Bible. So, let's read the answer to the question we were left with, which is at the end of the treatise: What will the world be like when Satan no longer controls it? Which biblical text does the treatise cite there?

Assistant: Psalm 37:10, 11.

Publisher: Okay, let's read it. Would you like to read it from my Bible?

Assistant: Of course. (Reads) "Just a little while longer and the wicked will be no more. You will look back to where they were, and they will be gone. But the meek will inherit the earth and enjoy abundant peace."

Publisher: The Bible tells us that when Satan no longer rules this world, God will ensure that those who practice evil—such as theft, murder, and war—will no longer exist. And He promises that we will enjoy abundant peace.

Assistant: That sounds great, because there's a lot of crime these days. It's good to know that God will soon fix that.

Publisher: Yes, it's one of the things God will do in the future. What is the other text cited in the brochure?

Assistant: It is Revelation 21:3, 4.

Publisher: (Read) Revelation 21:3, 4 says: Then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be sorrow nor crying nor pain anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Assistant: What an interesting text. It says there will be no more sadness, no more crying, no more pain.

Publisher: Yes, God promises to eliminate even death.

Assistant: That's something I'd like to see and enjoy.

Publisher: I'm glad to know you're interested in enjoying those beautiful blessings God promises us for the future. If you'd like, I can bring you another post that talks more about those blessings and what we should do to enjoy them.

Assistant: Yes, bring me the publication. Can you come Saturday morning?

Publisher: I'd be delighted to return. I'll set a reminder on my phone to make sure I don't forget.

Assistant: Perfect. I'll see you here on Saturday.

Publisher: Have a great day, Mrs. [name]. See you on Saturday.
