“Give Jehovah the glory his name deserves” (PSA. 96:8).
1. What are many focusing on today?
The current tendency to focus on oneself is a characteristic prophesied in the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:1, 2 warns that in the last days people would be lovers of themselves. This is evident today, when many people seek validation in social media and their personal achievements, instead of recognizing Jehovah as the Creator. Therefore, instead of focusing on gaining recognition, we should ask ourselves whether our words and actions reflect the honor that Jehovah deserves.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GIVE GLORY TO JEHOVAH?
2. How did Jehovah reveal his glory on Mount Sinai? (See also the image).
Shortly after their liberation from slavery, the people of Israel gathered at Mount Sinai to hear what Jehovah had to say to them. At that moment, Mount Sinai shook and filled with smoke, reflecting the magnificence of Jehovah. The Bible shows that when Jehovah communicates with his people, he does so in ways that leave a deep impression. On this occasion, He made it clear to the Israelites that He is the true God, invisible but with real power.

On Mount Sinai, Jehovah gave the Israelites an impressive display of his glory. (See paragraph 2).
3. What does it mean to give glory to Jehovah?
Glorifying Jehovah is more than just words; It's a lifestyle. The Bible shows that Jehovah deserves all the glory because he is the Creator and sovereign of the universe. When we recognize this, we reflect the attitude of faithful servants of the past, like David. David not only praised Jehovah privately, but he did so publicly, in front of the entire congregation. This shows that giving glory to God should not be something reserved, but something we share with others.
We can give glory to God in our daily lives in many ways: by preaching, by being humble, and by recognizing that we depend on Him. For example, when someone congratulates us for something well done, we can respond with humility and thank Jehovah for his help. This contrasts with the attitude of the world, where people seek to be the center of attention.
4. How did Jesus give glory to Jehovah?
Jesus was the greatest example of how to give glory to Jehovah. He never took credit for his miracles or his teaching, but always pointed to his Father as the source of all good things. In Mark 5:18-20, after casting demons out of a man, he instructed him to talk about what Jehovah had done for him, not just what Jesus had done. Furthermore, Jesus glorified Jehovah with his way of treating people.
The healing of the bent woman in Luke 13:10-13 demonstrates His compassion. He didn't ignore her or let her suffer any longer; He healed her with love and tenderness. His healing not only restored his physical health, but also his dignity. Therefore, every time we act with mercy or bear witness to the truth, we are reflecting His glory in our lives.
WHAT REASONS DO WE HAVE TO GIVE GLORY TO JEHOVAH?
5. What reasons do we have to respect Jehovah?
Jehovah deserves our respect because he is the supreme being, the almighty. His energy is inexhaustible, meaning he never gets tired and is incapable of failing to fulfill his purpose. He is also worthy of respect because he has given us life and everything we need to maintain it.
Revelation 4:11 reminds us that all things exist because Jehovah willed them so. Every detail of nature shows her love and care for humanity. Furthermore, Jehovah is loyal and keeps his promises.
Joshua 23:14 emphasizes that none of his promises have ever failed. That's why Jeremiah 10:6-7 says there is no one like Jehovah. He deserves not only our respect, but also our love. As we know him better, we see that he is not a distant God, but a close Father who always seeks our well-being.
6. Why do we love Jehovah?
Jehovah deserves not only our respect, but also our love. The Bible shows that he is a compassionate father who treats us with tenderness and mercy. Psalm 103:13 compares his love to that of a father who lovingly cares for his children, and in Isaiah 49:15 we are assured that his love is even stronger than that of a mother for her baby.
Another reason we love him is his empathy. Zechariah 2:8 says that those who worship him are the apple of his eye, that is, something extremely valuable and protected. Additionally, Psalm 25:14 says that Jehovah shares his friendship with those who respect him, and Acts 17:27 explains that he is not far from us, but desires that we seek him. As if that were not enough, Jehovah is humble. Although he is the ruler of the universe, he does not remain distant or inaccessible, but bends down to help the humble.
7. What nice opportunity do we have?
Many people have erroneous ideas about God, due to the influence of Satan, who “has blinded the minds” of unbelievers. As a result, they believe that Jehovah is distant or cruel, when in reality he is a loving and just father.
Jehovah has not left humanity without guidance; He has given us his word and the commission to be his witnesses. This means we can help others know it and understand its purpose.
There is no greater honor than speaking divine truth to others and watching their lives change for the better. Furthermore, doing so helps us value Him even more and also strengthens our relationship with Jehovah.
HOW CAN WE GIVE JEHOVAH THE GLORY HE DESERVES?
8. What is one way to give glory to Jehovah? (Psalm 96:1-3).
Giving glory to Jehovah not only means recognizing his greatness, but also talking about it. Psalm 9:1-3 encourages us to proclaim his glory among the nations and tell of his wonderful deeds. Daniel and his companions, when threatened with death in the fiery furnace, remained faithful and boldly declared that they would only worship Jehovah. Centuries later, Jesus' disciples faced severe persecution for preaching the good news, but they prayed for courage to continue their work. Therefore, today, every time we defend his name and share his message, we are giving him the glory he deserves.
9, 10. What does Angelina's case teach you? (See also the image).
Angelina's experience highlights three key lessons.
First, it reminds us that we must always be prepared to defend our faith, even in unexpected situations. She found herself in a difficult position, but instead of remaining silent, she trusted in Jehovah and spoke boldly.
Second, it teaches us that prayer is a powerful tool. Before answering, Angelina said a silent prayer, which no doubt helped her stay calm and choose the right words.
Third, respect and kindness can change attitudes. Instead of reacting angrily or feeling embarrassed, Angelina spoke tactfully, prompting her partner to reconsider his stance and fondly remember his past as a Jehovah's Witness.

We can give glory to Jehovah with what we say. (See paragraphs 9 and 10).
11. How have God's servants throughout history followed the principle found in Psalm 96:8?
The principle of giving glory to Jehovah with what we have is a recurring theme in the Bible, and God's servants have followed this principle in various ways throughout history.
The Israelites, by offering resources for the temple, demonstrated deep respect and gratitude toward Jehovah, recognizing that everything they had came from Him. The same happened with Jesus' disciples, who not only accompanied him in his ministry, but also financially supported Jesus and his apostles in their evangelizing work.
In the first century, Christians demonstrated their generosity not only by sharing their material goods, but also by sending help to other brothers in need, showing unity and Christian love. Today, the principle remains valid, and Christians continue to honor Jehovah with their assets, both in their personal service and in their contributions.
12. How do we bring glory to Jehovah with our donations? (See also the image).
The donations we make not only alleviate physical needs, but also have a profound spiritual impact. In Prisca's case, donations allowed her to receive help at a critical time while maintaining her dedication to the ministry. Seeing how Jehovah did not leave her helpless, several of her neighbors began to question their faith and Jehovah's power, which resulted in some of them beginning to attend meetings. This type of testimony is a perfect example of how our donations not only provide material assistance, but also glorify Jehovah by showing his love and faithfulness.

We can give glory to Jehovah with our valuable things. (See paragraph 12).
13. According to Psalm 96:9, what should we do to give glory to Jehovah?
To give glory to Jehovah, our lives must reflect his holiness and principles. Priests in ancient times had to meet certain standards of purity to serve in the temple, which symbolized the importance of maintaining a clean and dignified life when approaching God.
Similarly, Christians today must be committed to living in a way that honors Jehovah, leaving behind immoral behaviors and adopting a way of thinking and acting that is consistent with the values of the Kingdom of God. Let us remember that true cleanliness is not only physical, but also moral and spiritual.
14. What does Jack's case teach you? (See also the image).
Jack's case illustrates the transforming power of Jehovah in people's lives. Although Jack was a violent man, known for his dangerous reputation and convicted of his crimes, upon receiving biblical teaching, his life changed completely. This change was not only seen in his behavior, but also in his willingness to follow Jehovah's principles, even under difficult conditions such as prison.
What is even more impressive is that his transformation was so evident that those who knew him before his change were shocked, and some of them even cried for him at the time of his execution. This change also inspired other prisoners to seek the truth, demonstrating that a transformed life can have a powerful impact on others, motivating them to want to know more about Jehovah and how to worship him.

We can give glory to Jehovah with our conduct. (See paragraph 14).
HOW WILL JEHOVAH GIVE GLORY TO HIS NAME SOON?
15. What will Jehovah do soon to completely glorify his name? (Psalm 96:10-13).
Soon, Jehovah will glorify his name through his righteous judgments. As Psalm 96:10-13 describes. Jehovah is a righteous king and his judgment will bring the restoration of justice to the land.
The fall of Babylon the Great, which represents false religions, will be the first step for Jehovah to glorify himself, eliminating everything that has sullied his name.
Later, at Armageddon, Jehovah will destroy Satan's system, but will save those who are faithful to him. This final judgment will lead to the total sanctification of his name, when his glory and knowledge fill the entire earth.
16. What are you determined to do? (See also the image).
The choice of Psalm 96:8 as the text of the year 2025 highlights the importance of our responsibility as worshipers of Jehovah. Understanding that our purpose is to glorify His name, we must be determined to live lives that reflect His righteousness, goodness, and holiness, which, in turn, attracts others to learn more about Him and His Kingdom.
