APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: December 16-22, 2024, Start conversations: HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making disciples: a labor of love, Lesson 2 point 5). Prepared Assignment.

Start conversations (3 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Show the person our website and give him or her a jw.org contact card (lmd lesson 2 item 5).

Scenario: Publisher knocks on door, and person answers.

Publisher: Good morning, my name is [Name], and I'm talking to the neighbors to share something helpful we've found in the Bible. Have you noticed that there are a lot of important questions today, such as about family, happiness, or even world peace?

Person: Yes, but I really don't know if the Bible has clear answers.

Publisher: I understand how you feel, and it's true that many people feel the same way. So I'd like to show you something we use to find practical answers to those questions. It's a website called JW.org. Have you heard of it?

Person: No, I don't know him.

Publisher: It's an official site that has Bible-based information on topics that affect us in our daily lives. Look, for example, if someone wants advice on how to improve communication in the family, there are practical articles here. [Publisher pulls out a device and opens JW.org, displaying a relevant section, such as “Family and Parenting.”]

Person: Ah, interesting. Is it just about religion?

Publisher: Great question. While it is based on biblical principles, it is not limited to religion. It also offers topics that can be of interest to anyone, such as improving relationships, dealing with anxiety, or even scientific questions, such as whether the universe has a purpose.

Person: That sounds useful.

Publisher: Yes, it is. In fact, one thing I really like is that it has a section of educational videos for children, which are very useful for families. It is also available in many languages.

Person: How interesting.

Publisher: I have a card here with the link to the website. [He pulls out a JW.org contact card and hands it to her.] If you'd like, you can take a look later. There's something for everyone.

Person: Thanks. I'll save it for later review.

Publisher: I'm very glad to hear that. And if you find something that interests you and want to talk about it, I'd be happy to stop by again. It's always a pleasure to help out the neighbors.

Person: Okay, thanks.

Publisher: Have a nice day. It was a pleasure meeting you!
