TREASURES FROM GOD'S WORD: May 20 to 26, 2024, Why help others?, Prepared Speech.

Why help others? (10 minutes)

Dear friends, today we meet again to reflect on a topic that, many times, goes unnoticed in everyday life, and is fundamental for our happiness and personal fulfillment and for our help in the future. Why is it important to help others? Why are we motivated to help when others need it?

Not because of these quests we find profound lessons that the sacred texts teach us. We begin by sowing the word of Psalm 41:1, if you found it, accompany me with reading, he says.

LET'S READ PSALMS 41:1.

Happy is he who treats the disadvantaged with consideration; Jeová o resgata no día da calamidade.

These words give us an intimate relationship between our companions and those in need and divine protection. Teach us that when we are there to help those who are going through difficult times, we are not only providing comfort and support, but we are also attracting the goodness of the Almighty into our lives. But what does helping others really involve? Verses 2 to 4 of chapter 41 of the Psalm provide us with clear guidance for this respect. If you found me, please accompany me with reading, so say...

LET'S READ PSALM 41:2,4.

2 Jehovah will protect and keep alive. He will be called happy on earth; You will never surrender to the whims of your enemies.

3 The Lord will support when he is in bed; You will completely change your bed during the shower. 4 Pois eu disse: “O Jehovah, grant me your favor. Heal me, pois pequei against you.”

These words remind us that helping goes beyond offering us moments of material need, but also involves being present in moments of joy and frailty, providing comfort and unconditional support to what we don't need. For this reason, it is important to understand that when we become an instrument of help and comfort we are reflecting love and divine understanding. Verse 13 of this same chapter 41 of the Psalm eloquently teaches us the following.

LET'S READ PSALM 41:13.

Love Jehovah, or God of Israel, for all eternity. Amém e amém.

As we can see, every act of kindness, every word, every gesture of solidarity becomes an offer of gratitude to our breeder who taught us the path of love and companionship. Now we can ask ourselves: Why should we make an effort to help others? The answer is simpler, deeper. Because doing this we become better human beings and lively reflections of Divine love of Jesus Christ himself taught us this lesson when he said that when we give a banquet we invite the poor, the remote and the weak and your voices will be happy because. They have nothing to pay.

And so, dear children, let us always help you next is not just a deed, but also a privilege and an inescapable source of happiness. Pois ao ao estendermos as much as possible, we become instruments of divine providence and true testimonies of the love of our breeder. May each of us, inspired by sacred words, strive to be a light of hope and comfort in a world filled with fear and despair.

In short, our moments always reflect the love and companionship that we command to emanate from the heart of God. Let us always remember this word of the Apostle Paulo, there is greater happiness in giving than in receiving. Therefore, may every act of goodness that we practice be a living testimony of our faith and devotion to Him who made us love for years to come, as He loved us.

When we give something to someone, whether it is material or our time and attention, we experience a sensation of satisfaction and joy that is difficult to disbelieve. The act of giving allows us to step outside of ourselves and connect with others in a meaningful way. When we see the open smile of someone we help, we feel deep happiness and a sense of purpose.

The Bible teaches us that Jehovah rewards those who help others according to Psalm 41:2 to 4 Jehovah protects, sustains and strengthens those who are gifted, this does not mean that God does not help us when we are gifted or when we are gifted, but It comforts us and gives us knowledge to face difficulties. Jeová is the breeder of the human body and gifted with the capacity to combat evils.

In our activity guide for this week we can see an image of a new sign showing a new sign how to use your tablet, this is one of the ways to demonstrate companionship, since companionship can be defined as suffering together with someone. This implies feeling the need to help those who suffer difficulties, such as this one, let us look for opportunities to help others and do everything possible to imitate the perfect example of Jehovah and Jesus, let us approach both our brothers and sisters, we will enjoy better relationships with those that surrounds us.

Therefore, let us remind ourselves that the main reason for showing compassion and helping others is to give glory to Jehovah. We want to imitate his perfect example and bring our two brothers closer together, enjoy better relationships with those around us, be generous and show compassion is a way to express our love for God and the next. For this reason, dear friends, let us always help you nearby, this will make us happy and bring us closer to Jeová. To generosity, to companionship and to help the fundamental values that the Bible teaches us and that allow us to enjoy a full and satisfying life.
