Publisher: Veronica, In this lesson we will analyze how false religions tarnish the reputation of God. This lesson is important because although the Bible clearly teaches that God is love, religions speak and act in his name, commit atrocities, and tarnish their reputations with their lies and actions. Besides this, what else will we see in this lesson? 

Student: Yes, we will also answer: How did they do it? How does this make him feel? And what is he going to do about it?

Student: Sure, it says like this…

Publisher: Thank you very much for your reading, as you read, how have you tarnished God's reputation with your teachings?

Student: For example, many of the leaders of these false religions, when a tragedy occurs they say that it is by the will of God. But that is a lie because as James 1:13 says, Jehovah is not to blame for the bad things that happen. Furthermore, many of them do not teach people the name of God, when the Bible teaches that we should use it.

Publisher: Excellent Veronica. Let's now see what Romans 1:25 teaches us in this sense. Can you read it please?

Publisher: Very well, according to what has been read and the text of Romans 1:25, by exchanging the truth for a lie, what do these false religions achieve?

Student: They get people to distance themselves from God and give worship and sacred service to creation, instead of giving it to the creator. That is, to Jehovah God. 

Publisher: Correct, that's right. As the paragraph says, it is sad, but with their lies that is what they have achieved. Now let's move on to point 2. Can you read the paragraph please?

Publisher: Verónica Thank you very much for your nice reading, now as I have read it, how have you tarnished God's reputation with your actions?

Student: They have tarnished God's reputation with their actions, because they interfere in political affairs, support wars and cause or approve the deaths of many people. On the other hand, many of their leaders live surrounded by luxury and demand money from members of their religion to maintain that lifestyle.

Publisher: Excellent, can you please read Revelation 18:5 now?

Student: Okay, it says like this…………….

Publisher: In relation to what we have analyzed so far, how can we interpret this Biblical text?

Student: The text makes it clear that all of their actions are unfair, because they hurt everyone in many ways. Furthermore, they have been accumulating because they have been doing so for centuries, and they reach heaven because Jehovah reminds each one of his actions. So they will have to be accountable and pay for each of them. 

Publisher: Apparently you understood very well. Now let's move on to point 3. Can you read the paragraph please?

Student: The paragraph says…………….

Publisher: Very good, Verónica, after reading the paragraph, the question that arises is: What does God feel when he sees what false religions do?

Student: Jehovah is furious to see how the leaders of these false religions tarnish their reputations and mistreat the people who follow them.

Student: The text says that they will be destroyed and will never be seen again.
