-----First watch the video Information about 2 Chronicles-----

We take them every moment. Many of them do not have major consequences, but others can change our lives completely. What are we talking about? Of the decisions. Now, whether they have little or great significance, we must always adopt them thinking of honoring our God Jehovah.

In addition, we have to be aware that our decisions have consequences... Let's see a biblical example; The first chapters of the second book of Chronicles, tells us about the consequences that the bad decision that King Solomon made brought to the people. Let's read Deuteronomy 17:15,16.

WE ARE GOING TO READ DEUTORONOMY 17:15,16.

Then without fail you must make king whom Jehovah your God chooses. You must make one of your brothers king. It is forbidden to name a foreigner king, someone other than your brother. 16 Now he must not buy many horses or make the people return to Egypt to get more horses. for Jehovah has said to you: ‘Do not return this way again.

Until the time of Solomon, no national force of chariots was formed in Israel, they had to trust in Jehovah and not in a large army of cavalry. That is why, according to what we read, it was said that the King who appointed the people did not have to accumulate horses. What did Solomon do? Let's see: 2 Chronicles 1:14, 17.

WE ARE GOING TO READ 2 CHRONICLES 1:14,17.

Solomon continued to accumulate chariots and horses. He came to have 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses, and had them stationed in the chariot cities and in Jerusalem, near the king.

17 Each chariot imported from Egypt cost 600 pieces of silver, and each horse cost 150. Then they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.

Because of this bad decision, more people were needed and more cities were built to care for and park these horses. The consequences? It brought more burdens to the people, therefore, Jehovah never blessed this bad decision of Solomon, and with his death and the division of the kingdom, came the decline of the army of Israel. The lesson for us? The decisions we make always have consequences. The biblical principle we find in Galatians 6:7 that we invite you to read says:

WE ARE GOING TO READ GALATIANS 6:7.

Don't be fooled: nobody can make fun of God. Because what you are sowing is what you will reap.

There is no doubt: we have every reason to strive to make decisions that honor Jehovah. To make good decisions and not fall into temptations, we must allow Jehovah's teachings to help us. Also, we should always ask God to guide us.

He will always give us knowledge, understanding, discernment, and wisdom if we strive for it. And the more we seek and use them, the better our relationship with him will be. So, when we are faced with a decision, let us remember that Jehovah is our friend and best counselor, let us pray to him and he will undoubtedly help us to do the right thing.

There is no doubt: our friendship with Jehovah and the wisdom he gives us will help us make decisions that bring joy to him and protect our spirituality, while we wait in a just new world.
