Organizational Milestones (10 mins): Play the Organizational Milestones video for the month of September.
Throughout the world, Jehovah's Servants preach to all who will listen and receive the love and support of our congregations. But How preaching is organized worldwide and how congregations manage to stay united all over the planet.
The service committee of the governing body supervises this, its responsibilities are to supervise the preaching, Supervise the Organization of the congregations and supervise the activities of the liaison committees with the hospitals. Let's first look at what the service committee does to support us in preaching.
Coordinating the worldwide preaching is an immense honor for the service committee, of course we know that it was Jesus who gave this mandate to go and make disciples of people from all nations. That is why we do not forget that Jesus is the one who directs everything and great efforts are made to help all publishers no matter where they live to preach effectively.
In recent years public preaching has been implemented in metropolitan areas, it is preaching in prisons, in ports and in refugee camps and other places where there are displaced people, In addition informal preaching could do what works best for some depending on your schedule and other personal circumstances. Every week more than 3,000 new disciples are being baptized and preaching is being done in 239 countries and territories.
The service committee works under the direction of the governing body, we refer important issues to the governing body for direction. This was done for example when the teaching kit was created, the service committee carefully examines which publications could be essential to fulfill our ministry, since they are relatively few, we can all become well familiar with them. In this way we can better develop our ministry both in preaching the good news and in starting and leading Bible courses.
Many are moving to where help is needed, many others are simplifying their lives and some are getting to know other cultures and adapting to them, thousands of brothers have become pioneers, which opens up other opportunities for them, such as moving to places that need help, participate in construction projects, or even join the special service full time. Being a full-time servant does not mean being someone special, what is special is the work that is done to these brothers, they can be sent as special missionary pioneers or to the Circuit Work.
Young people we need to set spiritual goals, such as the school for evangelizers in the case of the Brothers being ministerial servants or elders, and that of the Sisters being pioneers and Missionaries, and in this way give impetus to the work. Brothers and Sisters see how much you love the preaching touches our hearts no matter what your circumstances do everything you can to bring the good news.
First Corinthians chapter 14 verses 33 and 40 says that Jehovah wants all things to be done in a dignified and orderly manner. The Bible makes it clear that the heavenly part of Jehovah's Organization is well organized, so the earthly part also has to be Organized, our motto is quick to apply principles and slow to set rules. By not going beyond what the Bible says, our decisions are more in tune with what Jehovah thinks, because we know that we are infallible but imperfect, as the word of God says, we are not masters of anyone's faith.
Our Brothers and Sisters face many pressures at this time in the spirit of the world, health problems, persecution and many disasters, but there are the elders giving them the encouragement they need and making sure that the congregation remains clean. Dear elders and Circuit Overseer, we love and respect you very much for accepting so much responsibility.
There are congregations in more than 200 countries and territories and hundreds of languages, so it is not easy to give Bible-based instructions that serve to spiritually feed the brothers around the world, that's why we stay in communication with the more than 80 existing branches. The Branch Committees are for the governing body as its eyes and ears and we can know thanks to them what needs there are, the Service Committee sends instructions to the service departments of all the branches quickly the service departments are in charge of translating this information and make sure that I reach the 7,000 or so circuit overseers and over 700 circuit overseers,
Like Jesus with his disciples, we want to help the brothers to do the most possible in their ministry according to their abilities and of course their circumstances, and when I make visits from the world headquarters or pastoring to the branches, I always try to remember that the brothers are Jehovah's sheep and they need to be cared for and fed. When the representatives of the central office visit the branches, it is like when the circuit overseer visits the congregations, the same emotion is felt but on a larger scale.
In addition, we can interact with the brothers of the branches, when they tell us about their circumstances, we can give them encouragement and any specific help they need. This unites us in an incredible way. Dear brothers, we love you very much for being willing to sacrifice so much and work so hard, we know that you are doing the work of Jehovah and that it is not always easy, wherever we go we observe the love that you dear brothers have for Jehovah and for the preaching and seeing what they get to do for Jehovah touches our hearts and encourages us to keep going.
The work of the liaison committees with hospitals is invaluable, when we most need help, Jehovah's organization is there to give it to us, something that will help us to better understand the work carried out by the liaison committee with hospitals, it will be to see the video a sign of love in difficult times, it is terrible to find out that one has a very serious illness or that you dear Brothers have suffered a serious accident. Jehovah has given us the liaison committees as a source of consolation, encouragement and strength, in these difficult times we highly value the privilege of preaching and worshiping God together, in this divided world, the peace, love and unity that we enjoy are a true miracle, With Jehovah's blessing we are sure that the preaching work will continue to move forward and that the congregations will continue to grow stronger in the faith.
