APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: May 23-29, 2022, Lecture, Lesson 19, Prepared Assignment.
Address (5 mins.): w05 10/1 23 pars. 14, 15. Title: “Fear God and give him glory” (Rev 14:7) (th lec. 19).
We as Jehovah's Witnesses must be on the lookout for future events, since 1914, we are aware of all the events about the "day of the Lord", on this we can meditate on what is written in the book of Revelation 14:6, 7, obviously this passage applies to our days and that is why we can meditate on the part that says "Fear God and give him glory", now, what do these words imply?
In the first place, by doing what Proverbs 8:13 advises us, in effect, to show fear of Jehovah is to distance ourselves from the evil that he hates, in the second place, by doing what Hebrews 10:24, 25 recommends, we will be able to give glory to Jehovah by be constantly reading his word and regularly attending Christian meetings and third by showing that we are honored to participate in the work of preaching the good news to all people
Once we recognize that Jehovah is the Universal Sovereign, we honor him by willingly submitting to him as the Sovereign of our lives, how do we show him fear and glory?, doing everything that was explained in this speech and in this way we are demonstrating what Psalm 62:8 says (read).
