Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022

I will pour out part of my spirit on all kinds of people. His sons and his daughters will prophesy (Acts 2:17).
We are very happy to be part of Jehovah's family, and we all strive to respect the principle of authority that he has established. The Bible indicates that men and women are of equal value to Jehovah. For example, it explains that in the first century Jehovah gave holy spirit to both men and women so that they could perform miracles, such as speaking in tongues.—Acts 2:1-4, 15-18. The group of anointed Christians who will reign with Christ is made up of men and women (Gal. 3:26-29). Similarly, Jehovah will give people of both sexes the reward of eternal life on earth (Rev. 7:9, 10, 13-15). And Jesus commanded both men and women to preach and teach the good news (Matt. 28:19, 20). For example, the book of Acts mentions a Christian named Priscilla. She and her husband, Aquila,They “explained more accurately” the truth to a highly educated man named Apollos (Acts 18:24-26). w21.02 14 paras. 1, 4
As Romans 7:2 indicates, how is the authority of family heads different from that of elders?
However, there are important differences between the authority of elders and that of householders. One is that Jehovah has given the elders the responsibility to act as judges and cast out unrepentant sinners from the congregation (1 Cor. 5:11-13).
On the other hand, Jehovah has given family heads authority to do certain things that elders cannot do. One of the things a head can do is make rules for his family members and make sure they are followed (see Romans 7:2). For example, you have the right to dictate what time your children should come home at night, and also the authority to discipline them if they disobey (Eph. 6:1). Of course, before making a rule, a considerate family head will talk to his wife, since the two are “one flesh” (Matt. 19:6).*
What are the anointed looking forward to?
Through the ransom, Jehovah purchased the lives of everyone in the congregation and everyone who puts their faith in Jesus (read Mark 10:45; Acts 20:28; 1 Cor. 15:21, 22). Since Christ died for us, it is logical that Jehovah appointed him head of the congregation. For that reason, Jesus has the authority to dictate standards of conduct for individuals, families, and the entire congregation, and to see that they are followed (Gal. 6:2). But he doesn't just set standards for us: he feeds and cares for each one of us (Eph. 5:29).
