APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: October 18-24, 2021, First Conversation, Lesson .6 assignment prepared.

First Conversation (3 min.): Use ideas for discussion. Then offer a Bible course with the booklet Enjoy Life (th lec. 6).

PUBLISHER: Hi, good morning. How is my little sister? I had to do some business around here and took the opportunity to visit you.

HOUSEWIFE: Hello Sofia, how nice that you visit me for a moment. Take a sit.

PUBLISHER: Something's wrong with you, Maria. I see you with a slightly sad face. Is Juan okay? Is something wrong with the boys?

HOUSEWIFE: Juan is fine, thanks for asking. With one of the boys, I have a little problem with Sebastián. Now that they are growing up they become more liberal and it is difficult for me to direct them as they should. Sometimes I do not know what to do. But sometimes I get to thinking. How is it that you do to be able to direct your children?

PUBLISHER: I understand you Maria, it is a somewhat complicated stage and as mothers we have to know how to make decisions to help them. María Where do you think we can find good advice for raising our children?

HOUSEWIFE: I imagine that in the Bible, I know that you study it but sometimes I think that being a book of so many years it might seem a bit out of date, but I think that in it we could receive advice.

PUBLISHER: Yes, the bible is very old, but despite being so, it has the answers that we need so much. I want to show you a biblical text that indicates why reading and applying the Bible is very useful. 2 Timothy 3: 16-17

HOUSEWIFE: You could see, what are the advice of the Bible for?

PUBLISHER: I said that it is useful to teach, to censor, to rectify things and to educate according to what is right.

HOUSEWIFE: This is Mary, and when you follow the advice of the Bible in raising children, you see the results little by little, but you see them. You know that now we have a manual to learn a little more about the Bible, and I want to share it with you, I just put it in my bag. And I want to leave it for you to examine and what if I come back in a couple of days and we keep talking about Why can we trust the Bible? Do you think it's OK?

PUBLISHER: Okay Sofia. The advice of the older sister should always be listened to and if it has given you good results, I am sure it will help me too.

HOUSEWIFE: Surely, Maria. Well I'll leave you and I hope to see you in a couple of days and that things will gradually improve as well, I'll give you a call tomorrow.
