ANALYSIS OF THE VIDEO AND ANSWERS TO THE PARAGRAPHS
Biblical prophecies strengthen our faith, but sometimes it may be difficult for us to understand them well. It is true that understanding prophecies requires humility, dedication and holy spirit, but the effort is well worth it.
Let's think for example in the vision where Ezekiel saw a temple on a very high mountain, let's read together the instructions that Jehovah gave to the prophet in Ezekiel 43:10, “You son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel so that feel ashamed for your mistakes and let them study your plan.
The title of chapter 13 describes the temple to the house of Israel, it is taken from this verse. In this chapter you will find a clarification of This prophecy when I studied it, ask yourself these questions: With what simpler approach are we approaching this analysis of the temple of Ezekiel? Why do we no longer say that Ezekiel saw the great spiritual temple of which the Apostle Paul Will I speak later? For Ezekiel and the other Jews in exile, what was the main message of the vision of the temple?
I took time to reflect on this prophetic vision. As you do so, ask yourself: What does it teach me about Jehovah's personality? As we ponder this vision, we will see more clearly the importance of giving Jehovah pure and exclusive worship.
1-3. (a) Why must the sight of the imposing temple precinct have comforted Ezekiel? (See the drawing at the beginning).
It must have comforted him because seeing the temple rebuilt and returning to his land was something he wanted, since he had already been in exile for 50 years, and given his advanced age he surely thought with sadness that he would not return, so the fact that Jehovah will take you back to your land and show you in detail the temple enclosure without a doubt how full of hope.
1-3. b) What are we going to analyze in this chapter?
We will analyze what we must take into account when studying and understanding this vision. Later we will see if the temple of Ezekiel was the great spiritual temple of which the apostle Paul spoke in depth centuries later. And finally, we will explain what this vision meant for the Jews who were in exile with Ezekiel.
A different approach
4. Regarding the temple of vision, how was it explained in the past? And how should we approach the vision now?
Before we understood that this temple of Ezekiel was the same spiritual temple that Paul spoke of in his letter to the Hebrews, that is why our publications spoke of types and anti types, however a deeper study, accompanied by prayer and meditation, made it clear that This vision must be approached from a simpler point of view.
5, 6. a) Why do we say that the apostle Paul was humble in speaking about the tabernacle? b) What did Paul say about some objects in the tabernacle? c) How could we analyze the vision of Ezekiel's temple?
Because he did not say things that the spirit did not indicate, his humility made him recognize what things he should say and what not. Hence, he did not give a prophetic or symbolic meaning to every detail of Ezekiel's temple.
5, 6. b) What did Paul say about some objects in the tabernacle?
Paul only mentioned objects such as the golden censer, the Ark cover, and the golden jar that contained the manna without giving them a prophetic meaning, and said that it was not the time to discuss these things in detail.
5, 6. c) How could we analyze Ezekiel's vision of the temple?
Just as the apostle was willing to wait on Jehovah, we can analyze Ezekiel's vision in a similar way. In a simple way, without giving a prophetic explanation to every detail, and humbly waiting for Jehovah to clarify the matter if necessary.
