APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY, February 2-8, 2026, Make Return Visits: FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. (Making Disciples: A Work of Love, Lesson 7, Section 3). Assignment Prepared.

Make return visits (4 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. Offer a Bible study (lmd lesson 7 point 3).

Setting: The publisher continues a conversation begun during the previous visit with an individual. During the conversation, using the Bible, the publisher shows the person the importance of recognizing our spiritual need and demonstrates interest in adapting to the person's pace so that they can continue learning from the Bible.

Publisher: Hi, [name]. It's great to see you again. I was thinking about our previous conversation about how difficult it is to find balance these days. How has your week been?

Assistant: Well, it's very busy, to be honest; I hardly have time to even sit down and rest.

Publisher: I completely understand. In fact, that's why I've come back today. Many people feel their schedules don't allow them to learn new things, and that's why I wanted to show you that our Bible course is designed for people with busy lives, like yours.

Assistant: Honestly, I don't know if I'd have enough time in my life to study such a big book.

Publisher: That's a very valid point, but would you allow me to read you just one passage from the Bible that explains why it's worthwhile to set aside even a few minutes? It's here in Matthew 5:3. It says: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Notice that Jesus didn't say that those who have a lot of free time are happy, but rather those who recognize their needs. We all have physical hunger and seek food. This text says that we also have a spiritual need for answers. When we feed that need, we feel happier and more at peace. Does that idea seem logical to you?

Assistant: Yes, that makes sense. Sometimes you feel empty even though you do a lot of things.

Publisher: Exactly. And to fill that gap, you don't need to study for hours every day. This booklet, Enjoy Life Forever!, helps us do it simply. We can review a lesson in five or ten minutes.

Assistant: Well, I could squeeze in ten minutes, but my schedule changes every week because of my work shifts.

Publisher: No problem at all. I'll work around your schedule. When do you usually find out your weekly hours? If you'd like, I can call or text you on Monday, and you can tell me, "Look, this week I'm available Wednesday at such and such time" or "Saturday would be better this week." Which works best for you?

Assistant: Yes, write to me on Monday; that way I can see how my week is going.

Publisher: Perfect, we'll do that. And one more thing, where would you like to meet? Some people prefer me to come to their house, others prefer a coffee shop, or even a video call.

Assistant: Well, if it's brief, a video call takes less time. That way I don't have to keep checking who's at the door.

Publisher: Perfect. I'll be waiting for your response on Monday, and we'll work around what's available to you. The important thing is that you can nurture that spiritual need Jesus spoke of, without it being a burden for you.
