Watchtower Study, Know That Jehovah Loves You, October 20-26, 2025, Comments and Answers.
“I drew you to me with loyal love” (JER. 31:3).
1. Why did you dedicate your life to Jehovah? (See also the pictures.)
I dedicated my life to Jehovah because I came to know and love him deeply. I promised him that doing his will would be the most important thing in my life, and since then, my love for him has grown even more. I am convinced that I love him more than anything or anyone.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
I came to know and love him deeply, and I remember that, when I was baptized, I promised him that he would be my God for life. Doing God's will has been the most important thing to me, and that love has only grown stronger. It's what I love most in this world, more than anything.
It was through a Bible study that I came to know Jehovah, came to know him, and was able to love him deeply.
In the images, we can see, in the foreground, a sister looking back, remembering the time she dedicated her life to Jehovah and communicated it to him through prayer. She also recalls when she symbolized that dedication through baptism. She is remembering and recalling that she took those steps precisely because she came to know and love Jehovah.

Do you remember how much you loved Jehovah when you dedicated your life to him and were baptized? (See paragraph 1.)
2, 3. What does Jehovah want? (Jeremiah 31:3). What will we discuss in this article?
Jehovah wants us to be fully convinced that He loves us. When we were baptized and dedicated our lives to Him, He granted us His loyal love. That's why He wanted us to be His friends and drew us to Him. He doesn't want us to doubt His love, but rather to have complete confidence that we are a "valuable possession" to Him and that nothing can separate us from His love.
In this article, we'll see why it's so important to convince ourselves that Jehovah loves us, and what things will help us become increasingly certain of his love.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
As Malachi 3:17 shows, Jehovah wants us to remember that when we dedicate ourselves and are baptized for Him, we become a special property or a valuable possession. If we have something very valuable, we will surely protect it; Jehovah does the same for us. He protects us spiritually, not only now, but also in the future. The text also says that He sees us the way a good father sees his son. So, because He sees that we serve Him wholeheartedly, He loves us deeply.
At the beginning of Jeremiah 31:3, it says, “The Lord appeared to me from afar.” This shows that, even though we sometimes feel far away, he himself says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” So, Jehovah loves us very much.
One thing Jehovah doesn't want is for us to doubt his love. He says he wants us to have the same confidence as the apostle Paul, who was convinced that nothing could separate him from God's love.
He is our Creator, and he not only created us as beings who desire to be loved, but also as beings who need it. Jehovah wants to show us that he truly loves us.
Jehovah sees people's hearts and knows what is truly in them. Therefore, since He draws us to Himself, it is up to us to comply with Him and do things just as He desires. We cannot doubt for a moment that He loves us. People may fail, but He will never fail us in anything. Therefore, we must cling to Him and not let go of His hand.
In this article, we'll look at why it's so important to convince ourselves that Jehovah loves us and how we can strengthen that conviction even more.
WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO BELIEVE THAT JEHOVAH LOVES US
4. What is one of the most cunning traps that Satan uses, and how can we oppose him?
One of Satan's most cunning traps is trying to make us believe that Jehovah doesn't love us. To resist him, we must resist his evil attacks, striving to convince ourselves that Jehovah truly loves us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Satan is very cunning and uses many traps to draw us away from Jehovah. One of the most dangerous is to make us doubt that Jehovah loves us. When we feel tired, discouraged, or face problems, he takes advantage of this to attack us and sow that doubt in our hearts. But if we are convinced of Jehovah's love for us, we will be able to stand firm and resist those attacks. Therefore, it is very important to do everything possible to remember and strengthen our confidence in Jehovah's love.
Satan tries to make us believe that Jehovah doesn't love us. We'll see that Satan is the ultimate liar, the king of the big lie.
Satan knows what Proverbs 24:10 says: that when we are discouraged, we lack strength. Therefore, he attacks when we feel weak, tired, or even discouraged by past experiences, present problems, or worries about the future.
In 1 Peter 5:8, Satan is described as a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. He tries to attack us when we are weakest, both emotionally and because of our personal worries and problems. He wants us to think that Jehovah doesn't love us, but what we need is to resist. As 1 Peter 5:9 says, we must remain firm in the faith, knowing that He does love us and, above all, that our brothers and sisters around the world are going through the same difficulties we are.
Surely we've all watched a documentary and observed how lions hunt. They seek their prey, and when they see a weak one, they don't get distracted by the others in the pack, but instead persist again and again until they catch it. In the same way, Satan displays this persistence with us to convince us that Jehovah doesn't love us. That's why it's so important to always keep in mind that Jehovah is with us and that he loves us.
In James 4:7 we are told to submit to God and resist the Devil, and he will flee from us. This is true because we know we can overcome Satan if we obey everything Jehovah tells us. That is, He does not leave us unprotected. Satan is fierce and attacks the weakest most strongly, but Jehovah gives us the help we need to avoid falling into his traps.
Another thing we can do, as Ephesians 6:11 says, is to put on the full armor of God, so that we can stand firm against the Devil's cunning traps.
5. Why is it so important to feel that Jehovah loves and values us?
It's very important because Jehovah created us with the need to love and be loved. When we feel that Jehovah loves and values us, our natural reaction is to love him back. Furthermore, by loving him more, he will draw closer to us, strengthening our relationship with him.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
When we experience His love, our natural reaction is to want to reciprocate that love and love Him back. The more we love Him, the closer He will be to us. This helps us strengthen our relationship with Jehovah and remain firm in our faith. Therefore, it is important to always strive to remember how much He loves us and how much He values us.
Because this brings us closer to Him, it's in our DNA. Jehovah created us with the need to love and to feel loved. So, naturally, when someone loves us, we love them back. So, the more we feel that Jehovah loves us and the more convinced we are of it, the more we will love Him. As 1 John 4:19 says, "We love because He first loved us."
The more we love Him, the stronger our relationship with Him becomes. In James 4:8, Jehovah promises that if we draw near to Him, He will also draw near to us.
In James 4:7 we are advised to resist Satan, and in verse 8 we are encouraged to draw near to Jehovah. All of this is part of the strategy to fight Satan and be sure that Jehovah loves us.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SURE THAT JEHOVAH LOVES YOU?
6. What can you ask of Jehovah if you find it hard to believe that he loves you?
We can ask Jehovah again and again to help us understand why he loves us and to see ourselves as he sees us. Even if our hearts resist believing this, let's remember that Jehovah is greater than our hearts and knows our qualities better than we do ourselves. We should not hesitate to tell him everything we feel and ask him to help us be convinced of his love.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
It can often be difficult for us to see the qualities Jehovah sees in us. Therefore, it's good to pray frequently to Him to help us recognize those qualities. As 1 John 3:19, 20 says, sometimes our hearts condemn us, but God is greater than our hearts.
It's not enough to ask Him just once to help us understand why He loves us and to see ourselves as He does. As Romans 12:12 says, "Continue constantly in prayer." Therefore, we must share our concerns with Jehovah and ask Him again and again, because, as we know, He knows us better than we know ourselves and sees qualities in us that we may not even know we have.
1 Samuel 16:7 contains a very beautiful idea. It says that God does not see things as man sees them, for man sees what is before his eyes, but Jehovah sees the heart. Often we are very self-critical or demanding of ourselves and fail to see the good things we have.
1 Samuel 16:7 reminds us that Jehovah sees what is in the heart. He sees beyond, even knowing our deepest nature. Therefore, we can ask Him to help us see ourselves as He sees us and to recognize the beautiful qualities we possess, the very qualities for which He loves us.
The text of Psalm 62:8 begins by saying, “Trust in Him always.” So if someone were to ask us, “Do you trust in Jehovah?” we might answer, “Of course I do, I trust in Jehovah.” But we might also ask ourselves, “Do you trust that He loves you? Do you trust that He sees all your good qualities?” We can trust in that, too.
It may seem trivial to ask Jehovah to help us understand that he loves us, because we too love and might think we already know what it means to love. But love is a characteristic of Jehovah, the Almighty God, and that is why even those who understand cannot fully explain the profound meaning of why we love. Hence the importance of persevering in prayer, as Romans 12:12 says, and of pouring out our hearts to Him. Jehovah will bless this sincere effort and help us to be certain that He truly loves us.
The expression "often" not only indicates frequency, but also consistency. Furthermore, as the paragraph says, we must take action after each prayer. Therefore, we must do this many times a day, and thus, little by little, we will convince our hearts.
7, 8. How do the Psalms help us to be convinced that Jehovah loves us?
These scriptures help us to be convinced that Jehovah truly loves us and cares deeply for us, even when we feel weak or discouraged.
The Psalms clearly show us how much Jehovah cares for us. For example, Psalm 34:18 says that Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted, reassuring us that He is at our side in the most difficult times.
Also, Psalm 56:8 mentions that he “collects our tears,” illustrating how precious our emotions and feelings are to Him. Furthermore, Psalm 139:3 reminds us that Jehovah “knows all our ways” and focuses on the good we do.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
David's words in Psalm 34:18 assure us that Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are sunk in discouragement. It describes a situation that sometimes happens to all of us: things happen to us that knock us down, and we think no one will understand or can help us. But the text says precisely that He pays more attention to these people. He is attentive to each and every one of the things that happen to us.
When we're going through difficult times and feel like others can't understand, what we know is that Jehovah does understand, because He knows everything about us. There are things that, truly, no one else can help us with. Only Jehovah can help us, and it is to Him that we can always turn.
In Psalm 56:8, David says that Jehovah collects his tears in a skin. A skin was a container made of animal skin that was used to prevent the loss of even a drop of water, since it was very valuable. This comparison reflects how valuable we are to Jehovah and how much He cares for us.
We have the example of Daniel. We all know him for his courage, his faith, and his trust in Jehovah, and nothing ever made him waver. However, there was a time in his life when he became discouraged and expressed his feelings to Jehovah. Jehovah told him, through an angel, in Daniel 10:18, 19: “Do not be afraid, you most precious man. Be at peace. Be strong, yes, be strong.” Daniel decided to believe these words and felt strengthened.
Although we may not have angels to strengthen us today, Jehovah has left us many passages in the Bible and also brothers and sisters on the Governing Body to remind us of how much he loves us. Now it's up to us to decide whether we believe Jehovah's truth or Satan's lies.
Psalm 34:18 is interesting because it says that Jehovah is close to those who are brokenhearted, without specifying why they are that way. It could be because of bad choices they've made; that's why they feel that way. But even so, Jehovah loves us all very much, even if sometimes we feel that way through our own fault.
Psalm 139:3 also shows that Jehovah knows all our ways and is aware of the interest and effort we put into trying to do his will. When he looks at us, he never focuses on our imperfections, but on the good things we try to do to please him.
In the psalms we have studied, we observe how Jehovah takes personal responsibility, first and foremost, to be close to us, to collect our tears, and to know our ways. He could have delegated this to some powerful angel or to his Son, Jesus, but no; He takes personal responsibility to show us that he truly loves us.
The text from Jeremiah 29:11, which we have used many times, makes us think that Jehovah does love us, because it tells us that he has a future and a hope for us. As he says, "I want to give them..." If Jehovah didn't love us or care about us, why would he have such a beautiful desire for us?
Hebrews 6:10 says, “Jehovah is not unjust, nor does he forget your deeds.” Therefore, Jehovah focuses on the good things we do and greatly appreciates the effort we put into pleasing him.
We must believe in the God of truth and not in Satan, who, as John 8:44 says, is the father of lies.
9. What does Jehovah promise to those who love him? (Exodus 20:6)
Jehovah promises loyal love to those who love him. As a loyal God, he will never withhold his love or abandon us. If we strive to please him and love him wholeheartedly, we can be completely sure that he also loves us deeply and will always be with us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Jehovah promises to show loyal love to those who love him. So, if we continue to show our love for him, we can be sure that he will never leave us or forsake us.
If we ask ourselves if we love Jehovah, we have no doubt, because we strive to obey him, and even when we face trials, we remain there because we know it is best for us. If we, who are imperfect and limited, love Jehovah so much, how could he not love us?
As Nehemiah 1:5 shows, it says that Jehovah keeps his peace and kindness for those who love him. So Jehovah's love is not temporary, but constant and faithful.
If we, with all our human limitations, still demonstrate that we love Jehovah, how could He not love us? That's why we can rest assured. The apostle Paul explained it very well in 1 Corinthians 8:3: "If anyone loves God, he knows him." Therefore, that is the best guarantee.
If we try to quantify what Exodus 20:6 says and consider how much loyal love Jehovah must show to a thousand generations, to all the descendants of a thousand generations, we can be sure that He does not withhold His loyal love. So, if He can do it for a thousand generations, won't He do it for us?
10, 11. How does Jehovah want you to view the ransom? (Galatians 2:20)
Jehovah wants us to see the ransom as a personal gift. Although Jesus gave his life for all mankind, Jehovah wants each of us to value it as something he did specifically for me. Just as the apostle Paul came to see the ransom as a gift for him, Jehovah wants me to see it that way too. This will help me be more convinced that Jehovah truly loves me.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
He wants us to see it as a gift he has given us personally to show us how much he loves us. The apostle Paul did terrible things before becoming a Christian and, afterward, continually struggled with his weaknesses. Even so, he saw the ransom as a gift Jehovah had given him.
Many times, because of past mistakes, we might think we are not worthy of this gift. But if we imagine standing before Jehovah and He said, "This gift is also for you," would we reject it? Of course not. In the end, we must see it for what it is: a direct gift that Jehovah has given to each of us.
Romans 15:4 says that everything that was written before was written for our instruction and comfort. So, if Jehovah used his Holy Spirit to have Paul put these words into writing, it is because Jehovah wants to teach us something. He wants to teach us that we too should view the gift not as something general, but as something very personal: that Jehovah has truly given the life of his Son for me.
Parents can begin to imagine what it would be like to give up the life of a child, which is what they hold most dear, and give it to people they don't even know. And that's what Jehovah did. Meditating on this tremendous display of love and seeing it as something personal, as something he has done for each and every one of us, convinces us, without a doubt, of the immense love Jehovah God has for us.
The text shows us that it is something very personal. Paul may have said that Jehovah gave the ransom for all humanity, but he put it in the first person, as he says at the end: “The life I now live in this body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Thus, we, in the same way, must consider that he has given us this gift personally, in an intimate way, and in this way we will be convinced that Jehovah truly loves us.
JESUS TAUGHT THAT JEHOVAH LOVES YOU
12. Why can we trust what Jesus said about Jehovah?
We can fully trust what Jesus said about Jehovah because no one knows him better than he does. He has been with Jehovah in heaven for billions of years and has seen with his own eyes the deep love Jehovah shows his faithful servants. Therefore, everything Jesus taught about his Father is completely trustworthy and helps convince us that Jehovah truly loves us.
Jesus has seen with his own eyes the deep love Jehovah has always shown his faithful servants. Therefore, we can be confident that what Jesus said about Jehovah is true.
13. How does Jesus want us to see Jehovah?
Jesus wants us to see Jehovah as a loving Father who loves us very much. He used the word “Father” to refer to Jehovah more than 160 times in the Gospels, showing a close and loving relationship. Although lofty titles were used for God in ancient times, Jesus preferred a simple and familiar term to emphasize the intimate relationship Jehovah has with his servants.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Jehovah also gives us what we need to live. In Matthew 6:26, Jesus told us in the Sermon on the Mount to watch the birds of the sky, because they neither sow nor reap, but Jehovah feeds them and gives them what they need to survive. In the same way, we should see Jehovah as a loving Father who gives us everything so we can serve him in the best way possible. Jesus benefited from his Father's love, and valuing and following his example will help us love Jehovah more.
It's interesting to note that Jesus invited his followers to pray. He said we should retreat to our private rooms and turn to our Father. This shows that the relationship each of us should have with Jehovah is like that of a loving Father, to whom we want to give everything we are and share our feelings.
When Jesus Christ spoke of his Father, he could have used many terms and titles that would have perfectly described Jehovah, such as Almighty, the Most High, and the Creator, but he preferred to call him Father. In fact, the Gospels mention that this term is used more than 160 times. But he didn't just refer to himself; when he spoke to his disciples, he called them "your Father" or "your heavenly Father." Few terms could better express Jehovah's love for others than this: that of being a Father.
14. How did Jesus show that each of us is valuable to Jehovah? (Matthew 10:29–31; see also the image.)
Jesus showed that each of us is valuable to Jehovah by explaining that our Father knows even when a sparrow falls to the ground, demonstrating his attention to the smallest details.
Furthermore, Jehovah knows even the number of hairs on our heads, which reflects how much he personally cares for each of his servants. With this, Jesus wants us to be convinced that we are very valuable to our heavenly Father.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Jesus showed us what birds look like, seemingly circling around in circles all their lives, but who feeds them? As He said, Jehovah watches over them, and if one falls to the ground, He is there to take care of it. These are tiny details, little things, but if Jehovah cares for every single bird in existence, which probably number in the billions, He is also there to take care of us.
If Jehovah is concerned about the sparrows who neither worship Him nor love Him, and as we saw before, when someone loves us, we are born to love that person, how much more will He not love us, who strive to show Him love?
The study note cited in the paragraph explains that the average person has 100,000 hairs. Can we imagine knowing our friends well enough to know how many hairs each one has? If we think about it, we see how well Jehovah knows us and how much he loves us.
In the photo, the little bird seems large because it is in the foreground, but as the note at the bottom of the photo says, if Jehovah cares for a simple sparrow, and sparrows, as we know, are not eagles or large birds, but tiny ones, how much more will he care for us, who love him, serve him, and worship him.
ILLUSTRATION
Jesus points to a sparrow sitting on the ground while the disciples listen attentively.
If Jehovah knows when a simple sparrow falls to the ground, imagine how much he loves you, who serve him faithfully out of love. (See paragraph 14.)
15. What does John 6:44 teach you about Jehovah?
John 6:44 teaches us that Jehovah, our heavenly Father, draws us to Himself with kindness because He sees that our hearts have the right attitude. This shows that Jehovah continues to love us constantly and recognizes the good qualities we have, even when we don't see them. In other words, His loyal love is continuous and sustains us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Jehovah drew us to Himself because He saw in our hearts the right attitude and also beautiful qualities, even if we are not aware of them. We should not think that He drew us by force, but rather imagine Jehovah like a fireplace in the middle of winter: when we know Him better, we are naturally drawn to Him.
John 6:44 says that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father who sent him draws him. The note on this verse makes it clear that Jehovah draws us not against our will, but rather the opposite: out of loyal love. This reassures us, without a doubt, that Jehovah is very concerned about us and, of course, that he loves us very much.
16. a) What is Jesus teaching us, and why can we trust him?
Jesus is teaching us that Jehovah is not only his Father, but also our Father, and he assures us that he loves us and cares deeply for us. We can trust Jesus because he always tells the truth and knows Jehovah better than anyone.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
What Jesus is teaching us is that Jehovah is not only his Father, but also our Father. He assures us that he loves us and cares deeply for us. We can trust Jesus and his words because he always tells the truth and knows Jehovah better than we do.
16. b) What will help us be convinced that Jehovah is the Father we need? (See the box “The Father We All Need.”)
To be convinced that Jehovah is the Father we need, it will help us to remember that Jesus, who always tells the truth, assures us of Jehovah's love and concern for us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
It will help us to know that we all need Him because He loves us, cares for us, cares for us, and protects us. His love is loyal and eternal. He always knows what we need and will never abandon us.
The experience of a sister who says she had an abusive father. Because of this, the figure of the "Father" probably impressed her, and perhaps she couldn't see Jehovah in that way. She shares that the Bible taught her that the word "Father" doesn't have to frighten her, and that she now understands what it means to be a good father.
KEEP STRIVING TO BE MORE CONVINCED EVERY DAY
17. Why should we be increasingly certain that Jehovah loves us?
We must be increasingly certain that Jehovah loves us because Satan, a very cunning enemy, tries to weaken us by making us believe that Jehovah does not love us. To avoid falling into this trap and remain steadfast in our service to Jehovah, it is essential to constantly strive to strengthen our confidence in his love.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Satan continues to insist and will continue to set traps so that we believe that Jehovah does not love us and does not care about us. He will want to weaken us, but we must do just the opposite: strive to be more certain every day that Jehovah does love us and care about us.
We can reflect the determination shown in Job's text. We will never say that Satan is right when he tries to convince us that Jehovah doesn't love us; on the contrary, we will always maintain our integrity.
18. What can help you be more convinced that Jehovah loves you?
Things that can help me become more convinced that Jehovah loves me include asking Him to help me see myself as He sees me, meditating on scriptures that show His deep affection for His servants, and remembering that He will never withhold His love from those who love Him. It is also important to view the ransom as a personal gift and to remember that, as Jesus said, Jehovah is our Father. Then I can confidently affirm that I am convinced of His love and strive every day to show Him my love.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Asking Jehovah in prayer to help us see ourselves as He sees us, and meditating on scriptures, such as 1 John 3:20, which says that Jehovah is greater than our hearts, will help us greatly.
It is good for us to remember that He will never deny His love to someone who loves Him.
It's also important to understand that the ransom he has given us through his Son is a personal gift, and if we see it that way, we can be even more convinced that Jehovah loves us.
If we do all the things mentioned in the paragraph and that we have seen in The Watchtower, we will convince ourselves that Jehovah loves us and it will be much easier for us to love Him. In this way, we will enter into a virtuous circle in which, realizing that Jehovah loves us, we will continue to love Him.
We must also keep in mind, as Jesus said, that Jehovah is our Father. This is how Jesus sets an example for us.
Psalm 136:1 teaches us that Jehovah's love is eternal, unconditional, and absolute. It reminds us that, despite trials, nothing in creation can separate us from Him. This love is revealed and made effective through Jesus Christ and His promise of eternal salvation.
WHAT WOULD YOU ANSWER?
Why is it so important to believe that Jehovah loves us?
It is very important to believe that Jehovah loves us because this helps us stand firm against Satan's cunning traps, who tries to make us believe that Jehovah does not love us so that we will stop serving him. When we are convinced of his love, we are strengthened to resist his attacks, especially in times of weakness, fatigue, or discouragement.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Believing in Jehovah's love brings us closer to Him, since we were created with the need to love and be loved. When we feel His love, our natural reaction is to love Him back, and the more we love Him, the more He will love us, thus strengthening our relationship and faith.
Thinking that Jehovah doesn't love us is one of Satan's traps, and we don't want to fall into it. On the contrary, we want to grow closer to Jehovah and have an ever-closer relationship with Him.
It is a chain: the more love Jehovah shows us, the more we will love him too.
Because if we are convinced that Jehovah loves us, we can stand firm against Satan's cunning traps. As 1 Peter 5:8-9 says, "Keep your wits about you and be vigilant! Your adversary, the Devil, is prowling around you like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone." Therefore, we must be alert to any of the Devil's traps.
What will help us be sure that Jehovah loves us?
It will help us to meditate on biblical texts, such as the Psalms, which show Jehovah's closeness, compassion, and appreciation for us. We must also remember that He is greater than our hearts and sees in us qualities that we ourselves may not perceive.
We must choose to believe Jehovah, the “God of truth,” instead of listening to the Devil’s lies. We must reflect on his loyal love, which he never withholds from those who truly love him, and view the ransom as a personal gift, demonstrating how much he values and loves us.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
If we struggle to believe that Jehovah loves us, we can ask Jehovah again and again to help us understand why He loves us and to allow us to see ourselves as He sees us. It's important to open our hearts to Him, tell Him how we feel, and ask for His help to be convinced of His love.
Reflecting on His loyal love, remembering that He is greater than our hearts and sees qualities in us that we may not even perceive, and also valuing the gift He gave us, which is the ransom—all of this shows that He appreciates and loves us.
On the other hand, if we take the time to regularly meditate on how much Jehovah loves us, we can feel that this love is more real, closer, and more intimate, like that of a loving father.
Just as the apostle Paul understood the issue of ransom well, and that helped him continue to struggle with his weaknesses, we too must understand that ransom is not only for humanity in general, but for each one of us.
We must also recognize that the fact that Jehovah saw something good in us when we were first told the truth is a sign of the love He has for each of us.
How does Jesus help us convince ourselves that Jehovah loves us?
Jesus helps us be convinced that Jehovah loves us because he knows him better than anyone, having been at his side for billions of years. Jesus has personally seen the deep love Jehovah shows for his faithful servants.
Furthermore, since he always tells the truth, we can be sure that when he assures us that Jehovah is a loving and close Father, he is saying something completely trustworthy.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Jesus always spoke of Jehovah as a close Father, not as a superior and unattainable being. Another way he demonstrates this is through his sacrifice, where he showed us the greatest demonstration of love anyone can offer us.
We saw in John 6:44, where Jesus says, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” Therefore, we must face reality: it’s not that we have found the truth on our own, but that we have been drawn. And if we have been drawn, it is because Jehovah saw something good in us.
We saw how Jesus emphasized that he was not only his Father, but that he was the Father of all of us.
Although we already know that Jehovah loves us, we must also note that Jesus showed great affection and was very willing to let us know this, having a great interest in making us understand how much he loves us.
