What does Brother Alvarado's experience teach you?
Brother Alvarado's experience teaches that Jehovah rewards faith and obedience, even when it means losing valuable things in this system. Although facing the loss of his job and economic uncertainty was difficult, Brother Alvarado and his family remained steadfast, trusting fully in Jehovah through prayer and effort.
They learned new skills, simplified their lives, and received beautiful spiritual blessings, such as the invitation to the Precursor School and the baptism of their daughter.
This confirms that if we put the Kingdom of God first, Jehovah takes care of our needs, just as he promises in his Word.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Brother Alvarado's experience teaches us that even when we face difficult times, as he did when he had to move to another place and start over, Jehovah is always there to help us. Despite his fears and uncertainty, he trusted in Jehovah and saw that everything turned out well in the end. This shows us that even when things seem complicated, Jehovah does not abandon us and gives us the strength we need to continue forward.
Brother Alvarado shows us that when we trust in Jehovah and seek to do what is right, He helps us overcome the challenges that come our way. Although in his case it seemed that everything was going to be very difficult at first, he relied on faith and the promises of Jehovah, and that allowed him to have peace in the midst of difficulties. This teaches us to be patient and to wait on Jehovah when circumstances are not easy.
Brother Alvarado's experience also reminds us that having faith in Jehovah does not mean that everything will be easy, but it does mean that He will give us the help we need at the right time. Sometimes we may not see the way out right away, but Jehovah is always ready to help us if we trust in Him and follow His leading. Brother Alvarado could see that his decision to trust in Jehovah led him to a better situation than he had imagined.
Read 1 Timothy 5:8. Then ask:
How does this verse strengthen your faith that Jehovah will always give his people what they need?
This verse strengthens me because it reflects Jehovah's deep concern for the protection and well-being of his spiritual family. If He disapproves of a person neglecting his own, that confirms to me that He would never neglect those who love Him. I know that Jehovah will always act with love, foresight and faithfulness to provide what is necessary, giving me confidence to depend on Him in any situation.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
The verse in 1 Timothy 5:8 says that if someone does not provide for his family, he is worse than an unbeliever. This verse strengthens our faith that Jehovah, like a good father, will always provide what is necessary for his people.
We know that Jehovah cares about each of us. Just like a loving father who does not leave his children without what they need, He will always give us what we need to face life.
The video also reinforces this message, showing that although we may face trials, Jehovah will never leave us without help. He knows what we need and will always provide for us at the right time, whether in times of difficulty or abundance. This encourages us to fully trust Him, knowing that He will always keep His promises.
Like a loving father, Jehovah not only gives us the material, but also the spiritual and emotional needs we need. This reminds us that when we face difficulties, we are not alone. He is willing to help us overcome any obstacle because He cares deeply about us.
The verse also shows us that Jehovah is not indifferent to our needs. He sees our situation and has both the power and the desire to provide for us. This strengthens our faith, because we know that no matter what happens, Jehovah will always be there to help us get through, as he did with those who appear in the video.
ANALYSIS OF BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES
Live a simple life. Reduce your expenses and don't get into unnecessary debt (Mt 6:22).
This principle encourages us to focus on what really matters in life, without getting carried away by the desire to have material things or live beyond our means. By reducing expenses and avoiding unnecessary debt, we can free ourselves from the stress caused by lack of money and focus more on our relationship with Jehovah.
Furthermore, as Jesus said in Matthew 6:22, by having a simple and healthy view of what we need, our priorities will be well aligned with spiritual values.
Living simply also allows us to experience greater peace of mind, since we are not obsessed with consumption and material things. This simplified approach helps us put Jehovah first, which, according to the Scriptures, brings both spiritual and material blessings.
Make decisions about work and education that allow you to put spiritual things first (Phil 1:9-11).
In this passage, the apostle Paul prays that Christians will grow in love and spiritual knowledge, which also means making wise decisions regarding work and education. If our work decisions distance us from our spiritual responsibilities, we could jeopardize our relationship with Jehovah. The principle here is that we must choose jobs or studies that allow us to maintain a healthy balance, prioritizing the spiritual without compromising our livelihood.
Making wise decisions regarding our work and educational activities not only guarantees economic stability, but also spiritual peace. If we choose a job that allows us time for our family, preaching, and worshiping Jehovah, we will be making decisions that benefit us both materially and spiritually.
Be humble and adaptable. If you become unemployed, be willing to do other work to support your family, even if it is simpler or more modest work (Pr 14:23).
The Proverbs verse reminds us that hard work is essential, regardless of the type of employment. If we lose our job, we should not feel ashamed to look for another one, even if it is more modest or different from what we did before.
Humility and willingness to adapt to new circumstances allow us to stand firm and move forward, always putting the needs of our family and our relationship with Jehovah above any pride.
Humility and adaptability teach us that a person's value does not depend on their job or social status. By being humble and accepting what Jehovah provides for us at every stage of life, we can rest easy knowing that He will take care of us, no matter what type of job we have. This also helps us be more grateful for what we have.
Share what you have with others, even if you don't have much (Heb 13:16).
Hebrews 13:16 encourages us to do good and share with others, even if we do not have great wealth. This principle highlights that generosity is not measured by the amount we give, but by the heart with which we do it.
Although we may have little, Jehovah values our desire to help others. Sometimes small acts of generosity can have a big impact on the lives of others. Sharing the little we have also helps us not fall into greed and maintain a grateful heart.
By practicing generosity, we show that we trust Jehovah to provide for our needs and that we do not live only for ourselves but care about the well-being of others. This act of kindness, however small, strengthens our faith and reflects Jehovah's love for all.
