APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: May 5-11, 2025, Explain your beliefs: Staging. Topic: Do you believe that your religion is the only true one? Lesson 4 point 3. Prepared Assignment.

Explain your beliefs (3 mins.) Role-playing. ijwfq article 3. Topic: Do you believe that your religion is the only true one? (lmd lesson 4 point 3).

Assistant: Hey, [Name], I have a question that came up the other day: do you, Jehovah's Witnesses, really believe that your religion is the only true one?

Publisher: Hello [Name], thanks for asking. I understand your concern. Look, as you mentioned, if one takes their faith seriously, they naturally believe they are following the right path, right? Otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense.

Assistant: Yes, that makes sense.

Publisher: Well, we, based on what the Bible says, have reached that conclusion. Let me show you, here in the Bible I have downloaded on my phone, what Jesus said in Matthew 7:14.

Assistant: Yes of course.

Publisher: He said, “While narrow is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” For us, that path that Jesus spoke about is the one that the Bible teaches us and which we must follow.

Assistant: Ah, I see. So do you think other religions are wrong?

Publisher: No. This is not a question of being or feeling superior to anyone, [Name]. On the contrary, we deeply respect each person's beliefs.

However, just as one looks for the best doctor when sick or the safest route for travel, we believe we have found the most reliable guide in the Bible to know God and his purpose.

Assistant: I understand. But there are so many religions... how can you be so sure that yours is the right one?

Publisher: It's a good question. Through constant study of the Bible, we have found answers that seem logical and coherent to many of life's most important questions.

We do not say that we know everything, but we are convinced that the teachings we follow are strictly based on the Word of God. If we were not convinced of that, honestly, we would look for another religion.

Assistant: Your point of view is interesting. Thanks for explaining to me, [Name]. Lunch break is almost over and we have to get back to work. Could it be that tomorrow we can continue this conversation?

Publisher: Sure. Tomorrow we sit together for lunch and continue the conversation. Now, let's get to work!
