Ps 116:15. Who are the “loyal ones” mentioned in this verse? (w12 5/15 22 pars. 1-3)

They are each and every one of His faithful servants. This does not refer to His faithful servants who have died; in fact, the true meaning is broader. What the Psalmist meant is that Jehovah considers the death of all His faithful servants to be such a huge loss that He is not willing to allow it. This passage confirms that God will not tolerate anyone destroying His loyal servants as a group. History confirms this.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

It is true that Jehovah values the life of each of his faithful servants very highly. It is interesting that this scripture does not apply to God's servants individually. What this Psalm mentions applies to more than just the death of one of his servants.

Hence, this article gave the following suggestion: That is why in a funeral speech this verse should not be applied to the deceased even when it is a Christian who has died faithful to Jehovah, it is not a text that applies individually, in this same information it says this text applies to all his servants in general as a group, as a single people. Jehovah will not allow attacks and persecutions to wipe out all those who belong to his people.

Therefore, when the question was asked who are the loyal ones, it is not referring to each brother who has died faithful or loyal, but rather it is referring to the entire group of God's people, which is why the suggestion does not apply to this text in the case of a funeral for a brother who has died.

What spiritual pearls have you found in this week's Bible reading?
