Let us examine the scriptures every day 2024

His kingdom will not be destroyed (Dan. 7:14).
When would Jesus begin to rule? According to a prophecy in the book of Daniel, this would occur at the end of a seven-time prophetic period. Let's see how we can know when that happy event took place (Dan. 4:10-17). The “seven times” represent 2,520 years. That period began in 607 BC, when the Babylonians removed the last king to occupy the throne of Jehovah, who was in Jerusalem. That period ended in 1914, when Jehovah made Jesus, “the one who has the legal right,” King of the Kingdom of God (Ezek. 21:25-27). How does this prophecy help us? Understanding the “seven times” prophecy gives us the assurance that Jehovah keeps his promises punctually. He set the time when he would establish the Kingdom. And, when that moment came, so he did. Likewise, Jehovah will fulfill all other prophecies at the time he himself has determined. So the day of Jehovah “will not be late” (Hab. 2:3). w22.07 3 paras. 3-5
What does the prophecy of Daniel 7:13, 14 confirm for us about the King of the Kingdom of God?
In Daniel 7:13, 14 we find a prophecy that confirms that Jesus Christ would be the ideal person to be the King of the Kingdom of God. He says that people from all nations would gladly serve him and that no other ruler would take his place. And when would Jesus begin to rule? According to another prophecy in the book of Daniel, this would occur at the end of a seven-time prophetic period. Let's see how we can know when that happy event took place.
How does Daniel 4:10-17 help us know what year Jesus would begin to rule? (See also note).
(Read Daniel 4:10-17). 21:25-27).b
What is one of the benefits of understanding the “seven times” prophecy?
How does this prophecy help us? Understanding the “seven times” prophecy gives us the assurance that Jehovah keeps his promises punctually. He set the time when he would establish the Kingdom. And, when that moment came, so he did. Likewise, Jehovah will fulfill all other prophecies at the time he himself has determined. So the day of Jehovah “will not be late” (Hab. 2:3).
What evidence do we see on Earth that Christ is ruling in heaven?, How does the prophecy of Revelation 6:2-8 support these tests?
As his ministry on Earth neared the end, Jesus predicted certain world events that would help his disciples know that he had begun to rule in heaven. For example, he talked about wars, famine and earthquakes. He also said there would be epidemics “in one place after another,” such as the COVID-19 pandemic. All of these events are part of what the Bible calls the “sign” of Christ's presence (Matt. 24:3, 7; Luke 21:7, 10, 11). And, more than 60 years after his death and return to heaven, Jesus confirmed to the apostle John that these things would happen (read Revelation 6:2-8). All of these events have occurred since Jesus became King of the Kingdom in 1914.
