Watchtower Study, Lessons We Learn from the Kings of Israel, September 30-October 6, 2024, Comments and Responses.

“You will see again the difference between a righteous person and an evil person, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve Him” (MAL. 3:18).

1, 2. What does the Bible tell about some of the kings of Israel?

It tells that some good kings did bad things and other bad kings did good things.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The Bible mentions more than 40 men who were kings of Israel and reveals the lives of each of them in great detail.

The Bible tells of more than 40 kings of Israel and tells us about both the good and bad things they did. For example, David is considered a good king because he followed Jehovah, but he also made serious mistakes, such as having an affair with a married woman and having her husband killed.

On the other hand, Rehoboam was seen as an unfaithful king, although he also did some good things, such as obeying Jehovah at certain times.

Here we have the example of King David who the Bible says was a good king, however, we all know as mentioned in the biblical record that he slept with a woman who was already married, and not only that, but he arranged for her husband to die in battle by putting him on the front line, so despite being a good king he did something very bad.

The case of Rehoboam, which the Bible mentions, was that in the eyes of Jehovah he was a man who did not resolve to serve him. So he did not have his approval, but on the occasion when he decided to attack the 10 tribes of the North that were separating from the kingdom, and he gathered a large army, he received from the prophet the words of Jehovah telling him not to attack and they obeyed at that time.

In this case, it refers to all the kings who ruled the people of Jehovah at that time. The kings of Israel, some ruled the two tribes of Judah, others the 10 northern tribes that formed the kingdom of Israel and others all of them together.

3. What might we be asking ourselves, and what will we see in this article?

Well, we may wonder why Jehovah said that some were faithful and others were not and what was the difference?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

In this article, we may wonder how Jehovah judges the kings of Israel and what criteria he uses to consider a king as good or bad. We will see that Jehovah evaluates kings based on their love for Him, their willingness to repent of their sins, and their practice of pure worship.

Well, let's see the things that Jehovah took into account when judging the kings of Israel, which were whether they loved him with all their hearts, whether they repented of their sins, and whether they practiced pure worship.

Yes, and it is important to know Jehovah's criteria, because our criteria are very different. When we read about David, we stop there and what he did or others' history is over. So learning Jehovah's criteria when it comes to judging what is right or wrong about a person is very important.

Since Jehovah sets the criteria, we want to be within his criteria, that is why we want to know what Jehovah focuses on, and also work on that.

THEY LOVED JEHOVAH WITH ALL THEIR HEART.

4. What was a difference between faithful and unfaithful kings?

A key difference between faithful and unfaithful kings was their love and devotion to Jehovah. The kings Jehovah considered faithful loved him with all their hearts and practiced pure worship, while the unfaithful kings, while sometimes doing good things, strayed from true worship and promoted idolatry.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

For example, King Jehoshaphat sought Jehovah with all his heart, while Solomon, at the end of his reign, did not serve Jehovah with a complete heart.

For the faithful loved Jehovah with all their heart while the unfaithful did not love Jehovah with a complete heart.

If the important idea says that when we speak of loving Jehovah with all our heart it does not refer to the physical heart, but rather it refers to the figurative heart which is the seat of all our desires, thoughts, inclinations, attitudes, motives and goals.

Yes, for example, the good King Jehoshaphat who, as 2 Chronicles 22:9 says, sought Jehovah with all his heart.

There was also Josiah, whom the Bible says that before him there was no king like him who returned to Jehovah with all his heart, and in contrast to these two kings, there was Solomon, who at the beginning was a good king who obeyed Jehovah, but at the end of his days he did not serve Jehovah with a complete heart.

It is said that Abijam was not a faithful king and that is why the Bible says he did not serve Jehovah his God with a complete heart.

5. What does it mean to serve Jehovah with a complete heart?

Serving Jehovah with a complete heart means worshiping him out of pure love and devotion, not simply out of obligation or because it seems right. It also means keeping that love alive throughout our lives, avoiding anything that might divide our hearts and weaken our relationship with him.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Serving Jehovah with a complete heart means always doing what is right, but this implies that we do it not only for a time, but rather throughout our lives.

So Jehovah does not look at how much we do but at what we do and this is especially encouraging when we go through difficulties or perhaps changes in circumstances that prevent us from serving Jehovah as fully as we might want, but remembering this gives us the peace of mind that since Jehovah looks at the feeling behind everything we do for him, as long as we are doing everything we can within our circumstances, he will consider that our heart is complete, it is true.

6. How can we love Jehovah with all our heart? (Proverbs 4:23; Matthew 5:29, 30)

We can love Jehovah with all our heart by avoiding anything that might divide our hearts and weaken our relationship with Him. This includes staying away from harmful entertainment, materialistic attitudes, and bad company.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

To love Jehovah with all our heart, Matthew 5:29,30 teaches us that we must eliminate anything that causes us to stumble, no matter how much we like it. Likewise, we must eliminate from our lives anything that might divide our devotion to Him.

But it is not enough to cleanse our hearts. According to Proverbs 4:23, we must protect our hearts, since the springs of life flow from them. This implies being careful about what we allow in our lives.

Well, as we have read, we have to protect our heart so we can avoid anything that could divide it or weaken our love for Jehovah, such as harmful entertainment, materialism, or bad company.

And he also tells us that if we realize that any of these things could weaken or divide this love, then as Matthew says, we would have to be willing to do things as drastic as those mentioned in the text.

The text of Proverbs is very interesting, the one we read at the beginning, because it says that more than anything else, protect your heart. We cannot let anyone else learn that, but the one who has to protect the heart is each one of us because the life of a Christian is a whole life, and if we do not protect the heart, there may be some failure and Jehovah can really judge us, hence we have to protect them, each one of us.

In verse 6 we are told to protect our hearts from any negative things mentioned in the paragraph, but it tells us that anything is true that things that cannot be bad, like a hobby or a sport, if we do not put them in the right place, may occupy the place in our hearts that we have reserved for Jehovah and therefore we also weaken our relationship with him.

7. Why should we be careful with harmful things?

We must be careful of harmful things because they can affect our relationship with Jehovah and our worship. Just as on a cold day we would not leave the door open to let the cold air into our house, we must “close the door” to negative influences that can chill our hearts and distance us from God.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Staying away from what is harmful helps us remain firm in our faith and continue serving Jehovah with all our hearts.

Well, if we do not take care of ourselves, we could become contaminated by this cold air, as the example shows. If it is very cold outside and we come home and turn on the heating, it would not be logical to leave the door open, because the cold would come in and cool everything down. The same can happen with Jehovah if we leave the door open to things that Jehovah hates, because in the end our love for Jehovah grows cold.

The doors that we have to ourselves are our eyes, our ears and the things that may come out of our mouth, if we do not take care of these things then that cold air will enter and cool us down.

And it is interesting that it is mentioned that spiritual things are not necessarily enough to help us counteract this; we must go further. We must close the door to everything that could distance us from Jehovah.

And speaking of this cold air that could cool our relationship with Jehovah, the text of Ephesians 2:2 is mentioned, which says that this system of this world is governed or this air is governed by Satan, who is the only one who benefits from us losing our relationship with Jehovah, so that is why we must be very vigilant.

And of course, the one who has the authority of air, the spirit or the way of being that the children of disobedience operate, eh, if we let them enter into our relationship with Jehovah, eh, we could lose it. And this is the most serious thing, right? And it is because one cannot serve two masters, divide, divide our heart, so the heart must be taken care of very carefully because the sources of life come from it, says the Bible.

And the challenge that we have now as Christians is not at all easy, right? We can see here in the paragraph that it is important that we arecompletely focused on spiritual activities, but it is not enough, but rather we have to concentrate on completely closing the door to the polluting air of this system in which we live and for that we have to have a double effort in a spiritual sense and that is to be fully involved in spiritual activities, to study as much as possible so that the air of this world cannot contaminate us, so it is a double challenge for us as Christians.

Well, we have seen the first of the three ideas: true for kings and for us, we are imperfect and we will make mistakes, but what does Jehovah want to see in us? And when he looked at kings, he did not always find it. For what Jehovah wants to see is a complete heart and not one that is divided.

THEY REPENTED OF THEIR SINS

8, 9. How did Kings David and Hezekiah react when they were corrected? (See image.)

When Kings David and Hezekiah were corrected, both reacted with humility and repentance.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

David, after being confronted by the prophet Nathan about his grave sin, showed true repentance. He not only accepted his mistake, but also expressed his pain in Psalm 51, where he acknowledges his sin and seeks Jehovah's forgiveness.

On the other hand, Hezekiah also showed humility when he was corrected by the prophet Isaiah. Although he had fallen into pride due to the blessings he had received from Jehovah, when he was warned, he sincerely repented. Jehovah, when evaluating his life, considered him a faithful king because he did what was right in his eyes.

Well, when King David was made to meditate on the seriousness of his mistake, he humbled himself before Jehovah and repented. In many Psalms we see how bad he felt about that very serious sin that he had committed. So Jehovah saw that he was truly sorry.

These two backgrounds of David and Hezekiah are very beautiful and positive, seeing the mercy and love of Jehovah these two kings. When they sinned, Jehovah did not brand them as unfaithful and the matter was over, but when one repents, Jehovah takes him back. It is a demonstration of Jehovah's love and his kindness. It is true that we would have done it differently as humans that we are.

Yes, Hezekiah, because Jehovah gave him riches, he helped him. He became arrogant and proud and began to boast about all this and Isaiah had to correct him, when Isaiah went to correct him, Hezekiah showed humility and repented and because of that Jehovah considered him at the end of his life as a faithful king.

Well, you see the two prophets that Jehovah used to help them see that they had done something wrong and that the brave men also did something good, not because they went before the kings to tell them I'm fine, but because it also had an effect. Because these two men had a complete heart, that is, it was born from within them to obey Jehovah and that is why they had the opportunity to repent.

In Psalm 51:17 David writes that he knew that Jehovah did not want animal offerings but what he wanted was his repentance. He wanted a broken heart, right? Crushed. If he had wanted to, or if Jehovah had wanted these animal offerings he would have done it in front of Nathan to impress him and say, "I have enough money, I am going to do whatever I wanted." But we see that he did not do it because he was truly sorry for his way of acting and his crushed heart that he had.

And we can see that he was truly sorry, that he was not pretending, because what we have read in the Psalm is that a person normally when he is not sorry looks for excuses, I

was thinking for example of Adam and Eve, Adam said the woman that you gave me, the serpent deceived me, but here David we see that he was very sincere because we read that he said I know very well my offenses I have sinned against you, especially against you I have done what was wrong in your eyes. So he recognized it quickly, he realized and we see that he was sincere.

As we saw before, King David committed a very serious sin, but when Nathan went to talk to him about what David had done, he was humble and repented very well, that is exactly how it was.

ILLUSTRATION

Well, you see the two prophets that Jehovah used to help them see that they had done something wrong and that the brave men also did something good, not because they went before the kings to tell them I'm fine, but because it also had an effect. Because these two men had a complete heart, that is, it was born from within them to obey Jehovah and that is why they had the opportunity to repent.

Series of images: 1. King David looks remorsefully toward heaven as Nathan speaks to him. 2. King Hezekiah, grieving, rests his face on his fingertips as Isaiah speaks to him. King David and King Hezekiah were humble and repentant when they were corrected for their sins. (See paragraphs 8 and 9.)

10. What did King Amaziah do when he was corrected?

King Amaziah, when corrected by a prophet of Jehovah, was stubborn and refused to heed the warning. Although he had done what was right in certain respects, his heart was not completely devoted to Jehovah, for after being helped by God to defeat the Edomites, Amaziah began to worship the gods of that people.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Well, although Jehovah helped him defeat the Edomites, Amaziah did not act correctly because he mentions that he began to worship gods of that people as the kings who were not Israelites did and then when the prophet went to correct him, he became stubborn, because according to the paragraph, the text mentions that he told the prophet in case we appoint you as advisor to the king and that is why the advisor told him that it would be expensive for him, because he had not listened to the advice of this prophet but that it came from Jehovah.

And it is interesting to note that in Second Chronicles it mentions that the prophet did not go there by his own decision but says that Jehovah sent him, that is to say that when he rejected the advice that this prophet was giving him, in the end what he was rejecting were the words of Jehovah.

11. According to 2 Corinthians 7:9,11, what must we do to be forgiven by Jehovah?

According to these scriptures, in order for Jehovah to forgive us, we must repent of our sins and do everything possible to avoid repeating them. This genuine repentance involves acknowledging our mistakes and taking steps to correct them.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Furthermore, it is important to react with humility to correction, whether from Jehovah or from others, and to be willing to make the necessary changes in our lives.

Well, we must repent from the heart and do everything possible to not commit them again and listen to the elders when they give us advice, not to become arrogant as happened to King Amaziah, but rather be humble of heart, make the necessary changes and repent from the heart so that Jehovah will forgive us.

And as David mentioned, King Amaziah believed that he was doing the right thing because in the end the customs in which we live, well sometimes we don't realize it and they let us get carried away as the note in the previous paragraph said, custom. So it is that the people who conquered another people, eh, that was not Israelite, worshiped the god of that people as a sign of courtesy. That is what Amaziah thought, but when the prophet came to correct because Jehovah understood what he was doing wrong, in this case when the elders come to correct us with affection or sometimes with their character, Jehovah is the one behind all of it and he is telling us to be careful that this custom is not mine, you have to be careful, that is where we must demonstrate this attitude.

And we see the good effect that arises when we repent from the heart, not as mentioned in Second Corinthians, it says to clear your name, to insinuate yourself, to insinuate yourself, to have love, to feel a sincere desire, to have effort to correct the evil that you have committed, when we do all this, it is when Jehovah sees that we have a sincere heart and considers us pure.

ILLUSTRATION

Well, you see two brothers and one of them seems to have a problem with alcohol, so there is an elder who is trying by all means to make him see that it is not an appropriate custom or a situation that Jehovah approves of.

Well, it reminds me, maybe my brother will remember that we have to accept that he does indeed have that problem, and the fact that he is looking at the bottle seems to me to be saying that it is true that I have to do something.

The brother has now made the necessary changes and begins to study, meditate, and look at the publications in order to rectify these mistakes and resume his relationship with Jehovah.

As he continues with his spiritual activities, he is seen preaching with determination, and he has no resentment towards the younger brother who has given him advice, but on the contrary, it is seen that they are enjoying themselves together.

Yes, he must have had a problem because in the first photo it is daytime and it seems that he has been drinking and then in the second one there is lesson 43 reviewing Christians and alcoholic beverages.

As imperfect people, He is obviously not going to demand that we not sin, because that is impossible, but if we make mistakes, we must repent wholeheartedly.

Picture series: 1. A younger elder speaks to a brother who is looking at a bottle of liquor and a half-full glass. 2. The brother discusses what the Bible and lesson 43 of the Enjoyment of Life book say. 3. The younger elder and the brother preach together from house to house. If we are corrected, we should 1) react with humility, 2) make the necessary changes, and 3) continue to serve Jehovah with all our heart. (See paragraph 11.)

THEY PRACTICED PURE WORSHIP

12. What was the main difference between the faithful kings and the unfaithful kings?

The main difference between faithful kings and unfaithful kings was that the faithful practiced pure worship and encouraged others to do the same, while the unfaithful strayed from true worship and often supported false worship.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Well, the kings that Jehovah considered faithful practiced pure worship and encouraged others to do the same. It is true that sometimes they made mistakes, as we saw, but they worshiped Jehovah exclusively, it is true.

Yes, although it is true that at first he did not accept the correction that Jehovah gave him, he later showed that he had a very good heart because he repented and also made an effort to make the necessary changes so that his people would also worship Jehovah because as the records of Kings and chronicles show, he removed the altars of other gods.

13. Why did Jehovah consider King Ahab to be unfaithful?

Jehovah considered King Ahab unfaithful because, despite some positive actions, he promoted false worship and was influenced by his wife, which led him to disobey God's laws and commit serious injustices.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

To begin with, he married a Canaanite woman, and she was not just any Canaanite; she was the daughter of the king of Sidon, Jezebel, so she not only influenced him in political matters but also in religious matters, and that was the worst. That is why the Bible says that he insisted on doing what was wrong in the eyes of Jehovah, incited by his wife Jezebel, and Jehovah did not forgive him for that.

Yes, despite being a wicked king or mostly wicked, he also did some good things. For example, when he found out that Nabz had been killed because of him, he felt bad and he also built cities and won some victories for Israel and he did not practice pure worship.

14. a) Why did Jehovah consider Rehoboam to be an unfaithful king?

Jehovah considered Rehoboam an unfaithful king because, although he performed some good deeds, he eventually abandoned Jehovah's Law and began practicing false worship, alternating between worshiping Jehovah and idols.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Because although he did many good things as mentioned in paragraph two, when his reign was reconciled, he abandoned the law of Jehovah and stopped giving him exclusive devotion, sharing his worship with false idol gods.

As we have seen, it is not enough to do good things sometimes and worship Jehovah because it seems that, notice here, when Rean's reign was considered consolidated, he then developed a proud heart because then he stopped worshiping Jehovah as if it were the most important thing to continue practicing his worship.

14 b) What did the vast majority of the infidel kings do?

The vast majority of unfaithful kings supported false religion in some way, turning away from pure worship and promoting idolatrous practices instead of following Jehovah's teachings.

Well, instead of practicing pure worship, most of them supported false religion in some way.

15. Why does Jehovah place so much importance on pure worship?

Jehovah places such importance on pure worship because kings were responsible for leading the people in right worship. False worship not only led people astray from God, but also led to serious injustices and sins, which directly affected the people's relationship with Jehovah.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

On the one hand, kings were responsible for helping the people worship God correctly, and on the other hand, when they practiced false worship, they ended up committing injustice and other serious sins.

And they were also dedicated servants of Jehovah. So when they worshiped

false gods, well, the Bible says it's as if they were committing adultery.

Yes, for Jehovah, adultery was a very serious sin. In fact, it was not the only reason why a marriage could be separated. However, we see that he compares it to adultery, which indicates that it was a sin that he saw as a personal attack against him, a direct and personal attack against him, which is why it was very serious.

And something that also highlights the fact of how important it is for Jehovah that we worship him as he wants is what the note mentions that the first two commandments of the law of Moses implied that this worship was only to Jehovah and not to something or someone other than him and this fact highlights the importance.

16. What is, for Jehovah, the main difference between someone righteous and someone wicked?

For Jehovah, the main difference between a righteous person and a wicked person lies in worship. A righteous individual serves God and practices pure worship, while a wicked person does not. This distinction is crucial, as Jehovah considers pure worship essential to a right relationship with Him.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The prophet Malachi gives us the answer in Chapter 3 verse 18, the difference is that someone righteous serves Jehovah and someone unfaithful does not serve him.

I was very struck by the last sentence of the paragraph because it says that abandoning Jehovah is in itself a serious sin. At least, I did not remember having read this sentence so strongly. And that tells us that even if many things happen to us in life, whatever we experience, the last thing we should do is abandon Jehovah.

For we must not allow even our own imperfections or mistakes to discourage us to the point of leaving Jehovah because he will be very saddened by it.

17. Why should we be careful when choosing the person we are going to marry?

We must be careful when choosing the person we are going to marry because, although a person may have good qualities, if he or she is not serving Jehovah, he or she may not be considered righteous in his eyes.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Marrying someone who does not share our beliefs can lead to negative spiritual influences and deviations in our own worship of God, as happened with Solomon, whose foreign wives led him to worship other gods.

Yes, well we have to remember what we saw in the previous paragraph, what Malachi says, that we have to see who serves Jehovah and who does not. If we can focus on a person who may have very good qualities but is not serving Jehovah, what we are going to find is as 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, we are in an unequal yoke. So it is going to cost us a lot to carry on that marriage, so we have to make sure that that person, that spouse, has good spiritual qualities.

And because what we want is someone who will help us in a spiritual sense. If one marries an unbeliever, no matter how apparently good his spiritual qualities are, he will not help us, he will not encourage us to come to meetings to study, to preach. Most likely, over time, even the believer himself will become discouraged from

struggling alone in this marriage. So one must think very carefully before looking for a spouse.

Here Solomon mentions that he did not have much wisdom, much knowledge, but it says that he married foreigners, and perhaps he says that they had good qualities, but because of that he strayed from the truth.

He is not a just person in the eyes of Jehovah and in other words he is an Unjust person. For Jehovah he serves Jehovah very well. It is in bold, right? He who serves God and he who does not serve him will have good qualities, well perhaps very good ones, but he does not serve Jehovah. This is the Divine criterion.

18. What should parents teach their children?

Parents should teach their children the importance of serving Jehovah and promoting pure worship. It is essential for children to understand that Jehovah considers a king good or bad primarily based on whether he promotes pure worship.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Parents should set an example and emphasize that spiritual activities, such as reading the Bible, attending meetings, and participating in preaching, should be priorities in life.

Well, what is the real priority for parents and children? They see that they are going to preach, they study together and it is at least to study the stories of the Bible because they are going to learn to love Jehovah truly from the heart and it will help them not only in their childhood stage but also throughout their entire life.

And what we are dealing with in the Watchtower can also serve to educate children, to use the stories of the kings to help their children, so that their children understand that the success of a king is not to make a strong and powerful nation and that it has economic benefits as we have seen that some bad kings did, but what he says was good or bad depending above all on whether he promoted pure worship or not is the issue here.

A very important idea that the paragraph mentions is that we must teach them with our words and with our example and we are parents forever, that is to say, when they are small we teach them in one way and when they are older in another way and our example, if they see that we respect Jehovah, that we are humble, that we know how to recognize our mistakes, our children will follow that example and that will help them to love Jehovah. If we tell them one thing and do another, it is more difficult for them to copy us.

19. Is all lost for someone who has stopped serving Jehovah?

No, all is not lost for someone who has stopped serving Jehovah. He can repent and become God's friend again. Although he may need to accept help from the elders and overcome his pride, any sacrifice is worth the effort to regain Jehovah's approval.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

And the case of King Manasseh is an example that, despite having committed serious sins, genuine repentance can lead to forgiveness and the restoration of the relationship with God.

Well no, no, it is lost because Jehovah allows us to return to

Jehovah, repent and he will help us in many ways but within the Christian Congregation.

We have the example of King Manasseh and the Bible says that he did on a large scale what was wrong in the eyes of Jehovah, he did many bad things to provoke Jehovah but still he was able to return to him of course he had to take the necessary steps not the story says that he humbled himself, that he continued praying and then in the end Jehovah says that he was moved by his plea so if we have moved away from Jehovah even if it is a lot but if we take the necessary steps to return to him, he will accept us again.

And no one is a lost case because Isaiah 55:7 speaks of the wickedness of the evil man but says that if they return to Jehovah, Jehovah will have mercy on them. So any person if he repents from his heart can return to Jehovah.

And this case is very, very outstanding because 2 Chronicles says that Manasseh built altars to all the army of heaven, burned his children in the fire, used divination, appointed mediums and soothsayers, and even did worse things than the nations that Jehovah had annihilated. So one might think that he really does not deserve any forgiveness. But how come Jehovah, when he humbled himself, forgave even those very serious sins.

20. If we imitate faithful kings, how will Jehovah see us?

If we imitate faithful kings, Jehovah will see us as a righteous person.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

This involves loving Jehovah with all our hearts, learning from our mistakes, repenting, and making the necessary changes in our lives.

Furthermore, it is crucial that we worship only the one true God. By being faithful to Jehovah, we can expect Him to consider us righteous and worthy of His approval.

DO YOU REMEMBER THE MAIN IDEAS?

How can we love Jehovah with all our heart?

Worship Him with pure love and devotion and not simply out of obligation.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

We can love Jehovah with all our heart by avoiding anything that might divide our hearts and weaken our love for Him.

This includes staying away from harmful entertainment, materialistic attitudes and bad company.

It is important to maintain a constant focus on our spiritual activities and make immediate changes if we notice that something is affecting our devotion. Also, we should worship Him out of pure love and devotion, not just out of obligation.

Yes, we have seen that by avoiding anything that can divide our hearts, we can weaken our love for Jehovah.

How do we show that we are sorry?

We show that we are sorry by showing humility and sincerity in our acknowledgement of the mistakes we have made. This involves not only feeling remorse, but also taking concrete actions to correct our mistakes and avoid repeating them.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

For example, King David genuinely repented of his sin and expressed his sorrow in Psalm 51, showing that his repentance was genuine. Likewise, King Hezekiah also showed humility and repentance when he was corrected for his actions.

Well, first of all, accepting the advice even if we do not agree with it, second, acting by investigating seeing how we can apply that advice and then maintaining our spiritual activity at full speed.

How do we show that we practice pure worship?

We demonstrate that we practice pure worship by staying away from false worship and dedicating ourselves to serving Jehovah sincerely and consistently. This includes following his teachings and commandments, actively participating in the preaching work and activities that promote the worship of God, and encouraging others to do the same.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Furthermore, it is essential that our worship be motivated by a genuine love for Jehovah and that we avoid any form of idolatry or practices that are not acceptable in his eyes.

On the one hand, single men and women who are looking for a spouse should pay close attention to the person they want to marry, and on the other hand, parents should set an example for their children so that they can truly serve Jehovah with all their heart.
