APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: August 12-18, 2024, Start conversations: INFORMAL PREACHING. (Making disciples: a labor of love, Lesson 2 point 4). Prepared Assignment.

Start conversations (3 mins.) INFORMAL PREACHING. Take advantage of an opportune moment to tell an acquaintance something he recently learned in a meeting (lmd lesson 2 point 4).

Publisher: Hello [Name], how have you been?

Helper: Hello! Fine, thanks. Complying with the obligations of the job, since you know that if we don't, they can lower our salary or, in the worst cases, we can be fired from the company. And how are you?

Publisher: I'm fine too, thank you. Hey, now that you mention that, you know that I am a Jehovah's Witness, I wanted to tell you something interesting that I learned recently at a meeting. It made me think of something that might interest you.

Assistant: Sure, what is it about?

Publisher: Well, there is a part where everyone gives their comments on some texts from the Bible and I learned that Jehovah is always loyal to his servants, even when we grow old. The meeting discussed how in the world sometimes people only seek to take advantage of us while we are useful, but then they leave us aside. However, Jehovah never acts like this.

Assistant: Oh yeah? How is that?

Publisher: Yes, it's an interesting contrast. Jehovah's loyalty does not depend on our age or what we can do for Him. Unlike many situations in the world where people feel exploited, Jehovah always stands by his servants, no matter how much time has passed or what be our circumstances. He is like a constant and selfless support that is really comforting.

Helper: That sounds really comforting. It's good to know that there is someone you can always count on, no matter what happens.

Publisher: Exactly. It made me feel more at peace knowing that Jehovah is always by our side, no matter what we are going through. I thought you might find this as encouraging as I do.

Helper: It definitely is. Thanks for sharing it.

Publisher: You're welcome. If you ever want to talk more about this, I'd be happy to chat further.
