Start conversations (3 mins.) FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. The person tells him that she does not believe in God (lmd lesson 5 point 4).
Publisher: Good morning, I am showing your neighbors this treaty. It is titled: Would you like to know the truth? Let me give you this copy.
Assistant: Good morning, are you talking about religion?
Publisher: Yes. Look at the six questions on the cover. Which one would you like…..?
Helper: Don't continue, please. I don't want to waste her time.
Publisher: The truth is that talking about God is not a waste of time.
Helper: Of course that's how it is when you believe in God, but the truth is that I'm not even sure that God exists.
Publisher: Thank you for being honest with me. She will see, I have not come to force her to believe the same as I do, but I would like to ask her: Is there anything that has made you doubt that God exists?
Assistant: Well, as a woman of science, I only believe in what I can see, and I have never seen God.
Publisher: He seems like a reasonable person to me. But let's think for a moment, there are things we can't see. However, we believe that they exist because we have solid reasons to believe that they exist.
Assistant: That's true.
Publisher: Let's take gravity as an example. We cannot see it but when we drop something, we clearly see that gravity is at work.
Assistant: I understand the idea you want to convey to me.
Publisher: Well, is there evidence that an invisible God really exists? How about I come tomorrow at this same time and we analyze the evidence that there is a creator AND that he is also interested in us.
Assistant: Honestly, I really liked talking to you, I'm willing to see what you have to show me.
