APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: January 29-February 4-2024, Speech: The Earth will never be destroyed, Lesson 13, Assignment Prepared.

Speech (4 mins.) lmd appendix A point 2. Title: The Earth will never be destroyed (th lesson 13).

The Earth will never be destroyed (Ps. 104:5; Eccl. 1:4).

In this speech we will talk about an idea that has been etched in the collective consciousness for a long time: the supposed inevitable destruction of our beloved home, the Earth. This notion has been fueled by various sources, from apocalyptic movies to alarming scientific theories. However, today I want to share with you a different perspective, a vision based on the Bible.

When we explore the sacred scriptures, we discover a comforting truth: the Earth will never be destroyed in the catastrophic sense that is often presented to us. But what about the words we find in the Bible where it says that the earth will be destroyed, The Bible does not predict the total annihilation of our planet, but rather the end of a corrupt system of things and the restoration of lost harmony.

Remember the story of the flood in Noah's time. The Earth was not annihilated, but it was wicked human society that came to an end. Now let's read — 2 Peter. 3:5-7 Just as back then, when the world of that time suffered destruction by water, today, the word teaches us that the heavens and the present Earth are reserved for judgment, but not for destruction of the physical earth, but of human society.

salm 104:5 says...this reminds us that the Earth is founded on established places, and will not be shaken until the end of time. This is a promise of stability and continuity for our planetary home. The true hope we find in biblical teachings is that the righteous will inherit the Earth, and it will become a global paradise.

Now let's read Ecclesiastes. 1:4 … it is true that across many generations we face environmental challenges and global crises that require our immediate attention and action. However, we must remember that the Earth itself is resilient and capable of regenerating if we act wisely and responsibly. And we will see that fulfilled under the kingdom of God.

In conclusion, the idea that the Earth will be destroyed must be reexamined in light of biblical teachings. We are not condemned to the apocalypse, but rather called to be responsible guardians of our common home. Let us continue to work together to preserve and protect our beautiful planet, always remembering that the Earth will never be destroyed, but will flourish as a paradise and if we continue loyal to Jehovah we will be part of that purpose.
