APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: November 20-26, 2023, Revisit, Lesson 3, Assignment Prepared.

Revisit (4 mins.): Use the topic of ideas to discuss. Invite the person to a meeting. Then present and analyze the video What are our meetings like?, but do not play it (th lesson 3).

Publisher: Mrs. Julia, I am very happy to know that the problems I had the first time we talked, thank God, have now been solved.

Assistant: Yes Maria. Thank God, it's already resolved.

Publisher: Well, Mrs. Julia, the truth is that I am very happy that this problem has already been solved. Remember that we had left a pending question: Why can you trust the Bible? How about we answer that question?

Assistant: Yes, of course, I was just waiting for it, because I am very interested in knowing the answer to that question.

Publisher: So, please, I invite you to read the text of Job 26:7.

Assistant: Sure, okay, it says like this…….

Publisher: Very good, thank you very much for reading. I tell you: The book of Job was written more than 3,500 years ago and yet, in this verse an irrefutable truth is told about our planet. Did he perceive what he is?

Helper: I already know what, that our planet Earth is suspended above nothingness in the universe.

Publisher: Correct, that's right. And this is very interesting because for many centuries there were countless myths about this matter. For example, some said that the earth was placed on top of a giant tortoise. Others claimed that the earth floated on the water. But only when man saw it floating in space thanks to the advances of science could he scientifically confirm that what the Bible had been teaching for thousands of years was an absolute truth. Do you have any idea when that happened?

Helper: When did man go to the moon?

Publisher: That's right, just in the last century. Now, what do we learn from this?

Helper: Well what we can learn is that what the Bible says is the truth and therefore, it is a reliable source.

Publisher: Very good Julia, you are very right. And if even today, there are some biblical teachings that we find very surprising or difficult to believe, what do you think our attitude should be?

Helper: I think the attitude we should take is to continue trusting the Bible. Perhaps what seems impossible to us today will soon be confirmed by science as a true fact. Just like what happened with this Earth thing.

Publisher: Excellent, that's right. On my next visit we can continue talking about the Bible. This time to answer you, what questions does the Bible answer?

Assistant: I think it's very good, Maria.

Publisher: That's great. I would like you to accompany me to Sunday's meeting at the Kingdom Hall. The topic of the conference will surely interest you a lot.

Helper: To the Jehovah's Witnesses meeting?

Publisher: Let me show you a short video that shows what our meetings are like, watch…………………….What did you think?

Assistant: I had no idea they were like that. They are very different from those of my church. In our meetings, no one carries the Bible or participates with comments.

Publisher: As you could notice, here the children also participate with their encouraging comments. And we carry the Bible because everything taught from the platform is strictly based on its teachings. Did you notice the good atmosphere and how happy we were to see our guests and Bible students at the meetings?

Assistant: Yes, I loved how pretty everyone looked, so well-groomed and well-dressed. I also noticed how affectionate you are with each other and with visitors.

Publisher: If you want, I can pick you up, so we can go together, do you think?

Helper: Okay, I'll be waiting for you to go together. I will also bring my Bible.

Publisher: Excellent Julia, that's how we are.
