Information about the Acts of the Apostles and their relevance to us
1-6. Tell an experience that shows that Witnesses have preached in very different circumstances.
A territory that many young people have found is in schools, and we have Rebeca as an example of this. She always carried Bible publications in her backpack and took advantage of recess to talk about the Bible, even starting Bible courses with her classmates.
Other brothers preach territories that are long distances away. For example, a couple who pioneered in Madagascar walked 25 km in a tropical climate to lead Bible courses in a very remote town.
Another place where the brothers preach is along the Paraguay and Paraná rivers. For example, Witnesses of 16 nationalities built a 45-ton boat to preach in remote regions along rivers.
Other brothers also take advantage of the summer tourist season in Alaska to preach to tourists from various countries, and to reach isolated areas they had to use small planes.
Even older siblings take advantage of every opportunity. For example, Larry in the nursing home in Texas, despite being in a wheelchair due to an accident, Larry preached the Kingdom message to the residents of the nursing home and shared his conviction that he would walk in the new world.
A final example is seen in the informal preaching of the brothers. When they traveled to an assembly, the trip lasted three days and they took the opportunity to preach to the passengers and also offer biblical publications to the towns where the ship made its stops.
These experiences highlight the determination of Jehovah's Witnesses to preach the message of the Kingdom in various situations and environments, demonstrating their dedication and commitment to their evangelizing work.
7. In what ways do Jehovah's servants bear witness to the Kingdom, and for what purpose?
The main way we witness to Jehovah's Witnesses is by visiting people's homes, preaching from house to house sharing biblical messages and answering people's questions that have to do with the Kingdom of God.
Another way we preach is in the streets, such as public preaching, we can also be in the market places and we try to start conversations with people who are attracted to certain topics that we have on the counter.
Another way in which we witness to the kingdom is with preaching by letter or telephone, we use these means of communication. For example, in letters we write beforehand to leave people or homes where they are not, and we also use the telephone to share the Kingdom message to people we may not be able to reach through house-to-house preaching.
Furthermore, another way in which Jehovah's Witnesses preach is informally, that is, when we see a moment or an opportunity to talk to other people, we do it either on public transportation, sometimes in the park or perhaps when we are in the work, we are always looking for ways to share the Kingdom message.
