2Ch 17:9. What lessons do we learn from Jehoshaphat's education campaign? (w17.03 20 ¶10-11)

We learn that we can all participate in the Education campaign that is currently being carried out and travel more territories teaching, to achieve Biblical Courses and we can also help our inactive little brothers and encourage them to continue seeking God with all their hearts just as Jehoshaphat did.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

We learn the importance of seeking God with all our hearts and of educating people with the word of God, so that they turn away from sin and return to true worship.

It highlights the need to be willing to take responsibility for teaching God's word, even if it means giving up our free time, and for helping the inactive and those who have been disfellowshipped to return to true worship. In short, you learn the importance of being active in preaching AND of being responsible in caring for and helping others.

We also learn that the elders of the congregation play an important part in this campaign, making pastoral visits to give encouragement and also to offer help to the repentant disfellowshipped.

Another thing we also learn is that each one of us must take personal responsibility to give up part of our free time to dedicate it wholeheartedly to true worship, which includes, as we already know, preaching, teaching, meeting, and also helping others. inactive and give help to the discouraged. In this sense Josaphat left us an excellent example to follow.

We also learn that we must continue to walk in Jehovah's way and do what is right in God's eyes, and encourage people in our territory to seek God just as Asa had done back then. Seeking Jehovah with all our hearts, as Second Chronicles 22:9 says.

Well, we learn several lessons to begin with, they carried with them the book of Jehovah's law, in other words, to teach Jehovah's people it is important that we take our Bible with us, whether it is in digital or physical format. We can all participate in the huge campaign of Public Education worldwide.

It is important that we make it a goal to lead Bible courses, not just go out and read Bible texts to people. Now, this can be a challenge if the people in our territory are apathetic, hostile or indifferent to the message, because the problem will not be in one, but in the territory. And that can limit, so to speak, the fact that we direct Bible courses, but it is not because we are doing it wrong, but because it is out of our hands.

It is also important that if we have a Bible course we ask for it in prayer, we assume that responsibility, that commitment. Since we will have to sacrifice time in a schedule each week that we could use to rest, to see our phone or to be at home, and it is also important to take into account that we could even try to help some inactive people. Jehosaphat was trying to help educate, they were not non-believers, they were his brothers in faith, they had knowledge of Jehovah. But they had become inactive. The elders also offer help to those who have been expelled, are in the territory of their congregation, but no longer practice sin.

What spiritual pearls have you found about Jehovah, the ministry, and other topics in this week's Bible reading?

2 Chronicles 17:4. We learn that just as Jehoshaphat sought his father at all times and followed his commandments, we too must make him seek and turn to Jehovah at all times and not follow the commandments of this world.

2 Chronicles 19:10. In this text we see why the brothers are always aware of us. And that is why we should not get angry when they give us advice, because as the text says Jehovah has appointed them to take care of his servants, otherwise Jehovah would be indignant with them for not fulfilling his responsibility.

2 Chronicles 19:7. This text teaches us that when the mature brothers make a decision, they always try to reflect Jehovah's judgment, not being partial or committing injustice, and that is why when the brothers make a decision, we must support, since as the text says they judge for Jehovah and not for men.

2 Chronicles 18:4. We see that Jehoshaphat was interested in knowing what Jehovah thought about the matter. This teaches us that as servants of Jehovah, we too can have some desires that could not be bad, but what this text wants to teach us is that we must always see what is most convenient so that our service to Jehovah is not hindered.

2 Chronicles 17:3-5. It shows us that Jehovah throughout history has shown that he is a stronghold in times of distress for his servants, so we must have the same act as Jehoshaphat and seek Jehovah, so that everything we do goes well good.

2 Chronicles 18:1-3. We see that Jehoshaphat made a mistake, but that did not make Jehovah forget the good things he had done, this reminds us that, despite our flaws, God will continue to love us if we strive from the heart to do his will.

2 Chronicles 18:6. Sometimes we are faced with making a decision and have some doubt as to what to choose. This text can help us, since here the king asked him for a prophet of Jehovah. Today we can also ask for help from our mature brothers in the congregation, although they will not tell us what decision to make, but they will help us see what are the advantages and disadvantages of making a decision.

2 Chronicles 17:3. Jehovah teaches us that he is a Loyal God, but with those who abide by his principles, which in turn shows us what kind of people we should be, if we want God to walk with us and guide our way.

2 Chronicles 17:9. Although it is true that in certain territories we feel more comfortable than in others, this verse teaches us that we must be willing to preach and teach anywhere, since the most important thing is not our comfort, but making disciples and making the name known. of Jehovah and his purpose.

2 Chronicles 19:11. This text encourages us to be strong and get to work, so that we can be sure that Jehovah will be with us and bless all those who do what is right.

2 Chronicles 18:17. He shows that the king of the North did not appreciate the advice of the true prophet, but rather rejected it. This warns us about avoiding the pride that leads us to seek advice only where we know they will tell us the things we want to hear, and not the advice we really need. Sincere and biblically based advice, even if it exposes our mistakes.

2 Chronicles 17:6. He shows that Jehoshaphat demonstrated courage and determination to serve Jehovah fully. This teaches me that I must strive to give Jehovah the best of my service. For example, I must dedicate time in quantity and quality to the ministry and not just in the time I have left over. Also, I must do it wholeheartedly.

2 Chronicles 17:5,6. These verses show that even though we sometimes feel like we lack the courage to talk about Jehovah and the Kingdom in front of certain people or in certain places, we need to be courageous. If we strive, Jehovah will bless us, never leave us alone, and give us much-needed courage to carry out Kingdom work.

2 Chronicles 18:12-27. These texts expose us to Micaya's example, and teach us that if we imitate his example, we will be brave and bold when speaking to all kinds of people about Jehovah and his purposes.

2 Chronicles 19:3. He shows that although Jehovah does not grant perfection, he focuses mainly on our good things but on our mistakes. we see that Jehoshaphat made the mistake of associating with the wicked king Ahab. However, Jehovah did not stop appreciating all the good that Jehoshaphat had done. If we imitate Jehovah, when someone makes mistakes, we will try to focus on his qualities and his good deeds, instead of highlighting their flaws and mistakes.

2 Chronicles 17: 5,6. Here we learn that our hearts must gain courage to follow the ways of Jehovah, since if we do so, He will always bless us. Jehovah will never abandon us and will always be with us.

2 Chronicles 17:3. He mentions that Jehosaphat did not follow bad examples, but rather the good example of his ancestor David, We can be like Jehosaphat, perhaps in our family there is a history of things that God does not like, drunkenness, spiritualism, immorality. But we can break the mold and follow the lifestyle that pleases God.

2 Chronicles 17:7-9. What a great privilege it was to collaborate with the king in giving a type of Biblical Education to the people, in our days every week millions of brothers around the world collaborate or support the slave giving Biblical education in more than 100,000 congregations, this makes us value our assignments and give our best effort to improve as teachers.

2 Chronicles 17:6. We see that serving Jehovah requires great courage. To be brave, the world presents someone brave shouting and hitting others, but the Bible shows that true courage is related to doing what God commands and even when other people have chosen otherwise, that is, they have gone Against the tide. This requires courage, which helps us to forge the character of Christ in us.

2 Chronicles 17:4. We can choose to go the way that many go the way of the crowd or we can choose the way of Jehovah to have his name, keep his commandments as Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, that is the duty of every human being.

2 Chronicles 17:4. This verse shows that most people are under the influence of the world. So the lesson that I extract is that, as Jehovah's servant, I must seek him at all times and obey his heart's commandments to stay free from such influence.

2 Chronicles 19:1-3. These verses show that Jehovah seeks the good in us, even when we give him reason to be angry. This teaches me that I should imitate Jehovah when someone makes me angry with his actions. Under these circumstances, I will strive to look for the good things in those people so that my anger can be diluted. In this way I will keep the peace, gladden Jehovah's heart, and give a good testimony of my beliefs.

2 Chronicles 17:3. He says that Jehoshaphat followed the ways of his father Asa, and did not turn from them, doing what was right in the eyes of Jehovah. This shows that Jehoshaphat focused on serving God and following his commandments, instead of looking for his own interest. How important it is that we also do that, when we serve Jehovah we follow God's commandments always going well in life and we always receive the blessing of Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 17:9. Here we learn that we must be willing to go out into the territories to teach and preach in the name of Jehovah, since today we must take advantage of all our tools and of course travel through territories that perhaps we have still traveled, teaching the word of Jehovah and of course to do disciples and that all may know the name of Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 17:1. He says that Jehoshaphat strengthened his kingdom and became more powerful than his predecessors. This suggests that Jehoshaphat was a strong and effective leader, who worked hard to consolidate his power and improve Judah's position. Obviously this was thanks to the help of Jehovah. We can learn a very valuable lesson: that if we too want to be successful, for example in our service to Jehovah, how important it is to work hard and follow the guidance of Jehovah's holy spirit.

2 Chronicles 17:10. It speaks about the fear of Jehovah that he fell on the neighboring Nations of Judah, and they did not dare to make war against Jehoshaphat. This shows that Jehoshaphat enjoyed divine protection because of his faithfulness to God. What a good lesson for us too, we know that nothing can happen to us if we continue with Jehovah's blessing, so we never stray from our God Jehovah, let's continue doing his will and surely through his organization he will continue to protect us.

2 Chronicles 17:7. Here it shows how Jehoshaphat sent leaders to teach the cities, it says that Jehoshaphat sent his leaders including the Levites the priests to teach in the cities of Judah. Well this shows that he recognized the importance of education and religious teaching for his people. What a beautiful lesson: we too, as Jehovah has educated us and has trained us and continues to train us, so that we can be teachers and that is why it is good to take time from time to time to see how our way of teaching is, because like Jehoshaphat we attach importance to Biblical education.

2 Chronicles 17:17. He mentions powerful right-handed warriors who carried their weapons and shields, this reminds us of the importance of taking our Bible to preaching, and to meetings, if we do, we will become right-handed without using our spiritual armor correctly, this takes time, it is not one day to another, but the sooner we start the better.

2 Chronicles 18:4. Like Jehosaphat, we may sometimes not know how to solve a problem and even feel afraid, but let's remember what Jehosaphat did. Before acting, he sought Jehovah's guidance, we can also imitate Jehosaphat seeking Jehovah's guidance and Christian advice mature in the decisions we will make.

2 Chronicles 18:7. Being weary with a witch influenced Ahab so much that he literally hated Jehovah's prophet, instead of repenting and seeking spiritual guidance from the prophet, Ahab decided to make himself more complicated by being his enemy. This teaches us that choosing a bad spouse could affect us so much to the degree of hating our brothers, especially those who could help us recover our spiritual health.

2 Chronicles 18:7. Perhaps we are moved by the thought of being used by Jehovah, and without a doubt it is a great privilege, in this text we see two groups of prophets, those who said what others wanted to hear and the one who told them what Jehovah wanted to tell them Therefore, being used by Jehovah Through privileges will imply a price, perhaps we will be the object of hatred, rejection, slander, lack of appreciation and respect from others, but if we strive to remain faithful, we will show that we are loyal to Jehovah.

2 Chronicles 18:12,13. In our days many people reject healthy teaching, get angry and act offended when hearing what the Bible really teaches. That is why we must take care not to imitate them and want to hear only what we want to hear, but rather what Jehovah says for our times.

2 Chronicles 18:19. This text makes us understand that Jehovah does not originate deception and does not make us believe in lies, and we say this because he is not the source of any lie as Numbers 23:19 says. Let them use their own free will and take responsibility for their own destruction. But first, with mercy, he gives them a full warning through his witnesses, since if we accept the warning we are also accepting the love of truth, which offers us salvation.

2 Chronicles 18:12,13,23,24,27. Like Micaya the prophet, we must be bold and bold in speaking of Jehovah and his purposes. And of course prudent, the organization sends us reminders on how to preach in dangerous territories, since we are advised to be very prudent.

2 Chronicles 19:2. We must be careful not to become consenting to those who deliberately sin against Jehovah, that is, they know it is wrong, and still do not care. It is not that we say evil to Jehovah's enemies, but we must avoid doing bad things that they seem good from our very limited point of view.

2 Chronicles 19:3. Jehovah wants us to know that he loves us and that he sees beyond our shortcomings. He looks for the good that is within us. That was what he did with Jehoshaphat, king of Judah. He was foolish enough to accompany Israel's King Ahab. And although it is true that he did not make a mistake, but he did not make Jehovah forget the good things that he had done. What happened to him reminds us that, despite our shortcomings, God will still love us if we strive from the heart to do his will.

2 Chronicles 18:28-31. We see that King Jehoshaphat was about to be killed for joining Ahab, he even accompanied him. Many have lost their lives for accompanying people who are in bad steps, that is why this example teaches us that we must take care of our friends and not expose ourselves unnecessarily.

2 Chronicles 19:6. Judging and dealing with cases in the congregation is a very serious responsibility, it is not for men, says the text, but for God, this makes us think about the importance of cultivating the necessary qualities such as being kind, loving, ready to help, and at the same time make firm. It is not easy to deal with all people. But if we let ourselves be shaped by Jehovah, we will do the right thing for the right reasons.

2 Chronicles 19:7. Here he speaks of the fear of Jehovah, contrary to what it might seem, these words do not allude to any kind of exaggerated terror, but to an intense desire to do the right thing, a respect so sincere that it can make us tremble.

2 Chronicles 19:3. The case of King Jehoshaphat teaches us more clearly that Jehovah looks for the good in people. When someone makes us angry, we may not see the good things in him. And when we commit a sin, disappointment, shame, and guilt may keep us from seeing our good things. But let us keep in mind that if we repent and work hard not to do the same thing again, Jehovah will forgive us.

2 Chronicles 19:7. This text shows that Jehovah is very interested in what happens in the more than 100,000 congregations worldwide. Since when it comes to judging matters in his people, Jehovah does not tolerate injustices to the innocent, nor partiality, nor accepting bribes.
