Congregation Bible study (30 min.): lff lesson 32 points 1-4 and box “The Tree of Dreams and the Kingdom of God”.

The Kingdom of God is already ruling!

The Kingdom of God began to rule in heaven in the year 1914. In that same year the last days of human rule began. How do we know? Below you will see, on the one hand, what the Bible predicted and, on the other, the world situation and the behavior of people since 1914.

1. What did the Bible predict?

He predicted which kingdom of God would begin to rule at the end of the 7 times, and that period ended in 1914.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

It was said that he would begin to govern the kingdom of God at the end of the designated times of the Nations or also when the seven times culminated and calculating that period we reached 1914 .

In Daniel 4:16,17, Daniel himself mentioned that after a period called "Seven times" the Kingdom of God would begin to rule. Jesus also referred to that same period, which he called "The Appointed Times of the Nations," and taught that that period was not over yet, since that period was fulfilled many years after Jesus had said these words. words.

2. What has been the world situation and people's behavior since 1914?

We have clearly seen how the prophecies regarding this subject have been fulfilled, for example, there are wars, famines, earthquakes, people show very selfish behavior and only think of themselves and even put God aside.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The behavior of the people would go from bad to worse, since it would be difficult to bear, as the letter to Timothy said, people would have attitudes such as arrogant, disobedient blasphemers and without natural affection and these characteristics are what people have had since the year 1914 onwards.

Also as 2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, People today are very ungrateful, they have no self-control, that is the reason why we see more and more chilling news, also many are full of pride and show a hypocritical devotion to God.

3. Why has the world situation gotten so bad since the Kingdom of God began to rule?

Because after that date there was a war in heaven, and satan lost, so he was cast down to earth with his demons, so he started causing a lot of trouble here on earth, plus he knows that he has very little time left to be removed.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The reason is that satan is influencing people's minds more strongly because he was thrown down to earth and knows that he has very little time left.

That is why today the situation has worsened, we know that satan has little time left, since his end is near and we, well, we have to continue holding on until Satan and the people who harm us are destroyed.

LET'S DEEPER INTO THE SUBJECT

Let's look at the evidence that the Kingdom began to rule in 1914 and see what effect this should have on us.

4. Bible prophecies take us to 1914

A) What did Nebuchadnezzar see in his dream? (See verses 20 and 21.)

What he saw was a very tall tree that reached up to the sky.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

He saw a very large tree that had beautiful foliage and that everyone benefited from this tree, both the animals of the forest and the birds of the sky.

In the dream that Nebuchadnezzar had, he came to see a large and strong tree, whose crown reached the heavens and the text mentions that it could be seen from all over the Earth. and whose foliage was really beautiful, which produced much fruit and food for all. And under it lived animals of the field and in the branches resided the birds of the sky.

B) What would happen to the tree? (See verse 23.)

It would be cut down, but the trunk and its roots were left.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

According to verse 23 the tree would be cut down or so to speak eliminated, but the trunks and their roots would be left among the grass of the field.

They were going to cut down the tree, but part of the trunk was going to be attached to the root and two ties would be placed around it, one made of iron and the other of copper.

C) What would happen after the end of the “seven times”? (See verse 26.)

After these seven times the tree would grow again.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

A Having left the trunk and roots, this tree, as expected, "grew", and this is how King Nebuchadnezzar also had the opportunity that if he recognized Jehovah's royal rule, he would recover his kingdom.

Just as Nebuchadnezzar had the opportunity to recognize Jehovah's royal rule and thus be able to recover his kingdom. We also have the opportunity today to recognize Jehovah's rule and recover our relationship with him, that is why we do well to obey everything Jehovah commands us through his organization.

First compliance:

D) Who did the tree represent? (See verse 22.)

The tree represented King Nebuchadnezzar and this king was very powerful.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

Like that tree, the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar became great and reigned in all corners of the Earth.

E) When did he stop ruling? (Read Daniel 4:29-33.)

Well this King went crazy and therefore stopped ruling for 7 years.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

When King Nebuchadnezzar began to grow haughty over his reign, Jehovah punished him with a certain insanity and he was driven out of his kingdom.

F) What happened to him after the “seven times”? (Read Daniel 4:34-36.)

After the 7 times Nebuchadnezzar recovered his sanity and resumed his government.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

As mentioned in Daniel 4: 34-36 Nebuchadnezzar recognized Jehovah for his greatness and at that very moment his judgment recovered after 7 years and he was restored to his kingdom.

Second fulfillment:

G) Who did the tree represent? (Read 1 Chronicles 29:23.)

In the second fulfillment he represented the Israelite kings, since these represented God and his government.

H) When did they stop governing? How do we know that they were not ruling when Jesus was on Earth? (Read Luke 21:24.)

These stopped ruling in 607 B.C.E. When Babylon destroyed Jerusalem, from there there were no longer kings who would represent Jehovah, and this cannot be clearer, because when Jesus was on earth he himself gave it to understand that at that time the seven times did not they had finished

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

That is to say, it was not yet time for the tree that had been cut down to return or start to sprout, because they said that the tree was going to continue flowering again and new branches were going to grow.

They stopped ruling when Jerusalem was conquered and left and this was in the year 607 and they were not ruling when Jesus was on earth, because the kings of that time were not chosen by God but by the Roman Empire.

I) Where and when was this government restored?

It was restored in heaven, in the year 1914.
