APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: Week of January 2 to 8, 2023, Answers to the Video of the first conversation.

APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: January 2-8, 2023, Answers to the Video of the first conversation.

Video of the first conversation (5 min.): Analysis with the audience. Play the video First Conversation: Prayer (Ps 65:2). Pause the video at each pause and ask the questions that appear in it.

How would you respond if the person said that no one listens to our prayers?

First, I would appreciate it if you gave us your opinion because of your sincerity, then we could mention that other people also think the same, and then, in order not to create a discussion between their way of thinking and ours, we could mention what the Bible says about this topic and we would go to the text suggested by the activity guide.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

I would also ask you to please let me show you a Biblical text that answers that question. I would then show him Psalm 65:2 and go on to explain that even though Jehovah is Almighty God and Ruler of the universe, He is an accessible God who is always ready to hear our prayers, and that is why people of all kinds can come to us. to him in prayer.

And after thanking you for your comment, I would then tell you that many think this way because they have not seen the answer to their prayers and I would ask if this was your case, and I would tell you that God encourages us to pray and I would show you the text of the Psalm 65:2.

What teaching kit publication would you offer the person?

We could choose to leave the book Enjoy Life and mention lesson 9 which has the theme “Prayer brings you closer to God”. And agree to return to analyze this lesson.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

I would offer her the booklet Enjoy Life and lead her to lesson 1 to discuss point 1 to show her that just as the Bible answered the important question, does God hear prayers in just one minute, it can also answer other important questions that surely has been done throughout his life, without finding a satisfactory and truthful answer. In this way, I would seek to arouse his interest to get a return visit or start the Bible course.
